Ambiance awesome, Service awesome ....Regarding the food, Bar Meets Grill is excessively overpriced. While we don't object to the price point, the portions have shrunk dramatically. For instance, a 6oz fillet costs over $100 and comes with only one carrot, four green beans, and a small portion of mashed potatoes. The food quality and portion sizes need significant improvement.

Kellen our server was sooo amazing giving me and my dad a great experience kept up on checking on us and the food came out on time even with the complementary bread for the wait of the steaks. Food came perfectly cooked and drinks were topped off when needed. In conclusion we were given two desserts for me and my dad's birthday. Soooo delicious all in all and will be coming back!!!

My fiancé and I had dinner yesterday at Bar Meets Grill and it knocked our socks off We shared a half dozen oysters to start as well as a Fallbrook Syrah wine- both were great! He ordered Chilean sea bass that came with purple sweet potato, green beans, avocado and mango- he loved it. I ordered the Prime rib 3 course meal (Cesar salad, prime rib with potato and green bean, and this amazing flourless chocolate cake for dessert). The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful. We will be back again. FYI- my fiancé is gluten free and it was no problem If I could change anything, I'd add more than three green beans and a spoonful of potato to the main dish- with these big prices, sure would like sides with it.

Had the Prime Rib Dinner. Not bad at all. But you know what sold me? The service. Reed was amazing. I never had to ask for a water refill. He timed the food perfectly. He was so attentive and made the experience memorable. When I get superb service, I like to acknowledge it. Great job!!

My husband and I had dinner here last month. We had a meatball appetizer, lamb chops, and linguine with clams. Everything tasted pretty good, but I think I had slightly higher expectations with it being the "upscale" restaurant in the casino. That's ok though, that's on me. Our server was nice and he was transparent that they were short-staffed, so we didn't mind that service was on the slower side. It was a bit dark inside, but big and open. The only thing that I struggled with was the cigarette smoke smell. This restaurant was technically on the non-smoking side of the casino, but the scent really traveled. I had to wash everything when I got home because I'm super sensitive to smoke. We wouldn't go back because of that smell, which I didn't know about beforehand. I assumed all casinos were smoke-free which isn't the case!

What a great experience. I had a reservation for just myself and I was seated promptly. I was near the open concept kitchen. Ashley my server was knowledgeable and gave me a great wine selection. I had French onion soup which was delicious. (It's one of my favorites and I'm picky) then I was coursed out with a boneless ribeye steak cooked perfect medium rare, Brussels sprouts and sautéed shrimp . (I forgot the pic of shrimp) this meal was delicious and hit the spot. I finished out with dessert that was just the right size to end the night. I would definitely be back to keep exploring the menu.

Outstanding service in a relaxed atmosphere, food was excellent, the starter plate of meatballs were awesome.

Been here twice! Food is amazing. Started with the French onion soup. The crock was only half full with soup, then they added two cheese topped croutons. Not my favorite presentation of this. I love scraping the extra cheese off the side of the crock. The filet mignon was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The charred corn with brown butter was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. I made reservations, but they weren't necessary for a Thursday at 6pm. Depending where you sit, there's a nice view of the pool.

We love Bar Meets Grill! The food is always spectacular especially when Carlos is the chef on duty and the service is ALWAYS top notch. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive from Miriam at the front to Behrouz bringing the bread, singing Happy Birthday with his beautiful voice and bussing tables to almost all of the servers....Stephen, Tiffany, Sean...everyone is incredible there. We had the pleasure of having Stephen for our waiter for our Valentines date with our daughter and he is always exceptional and accommodating! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious and the steaks flavor was amazing. Best desserts too especially the flourless chocolate cake (highly recommend)! This is always our go to restaurant whether is for a date night or even taking our kids out in their birthdays( it is all 3 of our kids favorite restaurant). Thanks to everyone at Bar Meets Grill for always making us feel so welcome and taking the best care of us consistently!

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

I sat at the bar and immediately I was invisible. I sat. And I sat. And I sat some more. A solid 10 minutes or more. At one point I stood up to check what was on a different TV than the one above me. Upon my return, the bartender finally acknowledged my existence and said, "Sorry, I guess I left you hanging". I then ordered a beer, which he poured right away. While I had his attention I ordered my meal. After all, I had plenty of time to look at the menu. Then the 2nd round of invisibility started. I finished my beer and was ready for another. I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. About an additional 15 minutes. I finally caught the attention of the other bartender and ordered a 2nd beer that was never brought to me. Finally, the first guy came back, so I ordered it from him. As he was bringing it to me, I heard him tell one of the young servers, "Make sure it's medium rare". Wait, what?! That's my burger order! You're just now putting it in? WTF? Invisible indeed! Another 15 minutes went by before my burger and "frings" (fries and onion rings) arrived. I realize that the guy was keeping busy with the walk-up customers, but I was right there! Sitting right in front of him! I finished half of the burger and had a lot of rings and fries leftover and needed a to-go box. Good gawd! More waiting ensued. I finally caught a young woman as she was leaving the kitchen area and asked her for a box which she grabbed for me. Trying to get the bartender's attention for the check ended up being yet another exercise in futility. At least the burger was good (really good in fact), the fries too, the only redeeming quality of my visit. The onion rings? Meh. Straight from a bag of frozen.

Same Same, but Different? Not Quite…read more Hiya B.U.M.S., We recently decided to check out Same Same, hoping for an experience that was delightfully different. Our order for the night? The Thai-style New York steak, Khao Soi curry, and larb lettuce cups--all paired with a custom-crafted, half-Cranberry, half-Sprite. Before we even tasted the food, we almost ended up eating next door. The entrances are a bit of a maze, leaving us standing outside having a mini identity crisis about where we actually wanted to dine. Ultimately, we stayed the course and chose Same Same. The Larb Lettuce Cups: As a massive larb fan, I was hyped. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat. My wife officially dubbed it "lackluster." While the ground beef was seasoned and the lettuce was beautifully crisp, when the lettuce is the undisputed star of your larb, it might be time to reevaluate the recipe. The Yellowtail Ceviche: To recover from the larb disappointment, my wife ordered the ceviche. It was a step up, but for a Thai spot, it was missing that signature kick. It really needed a handful of jalapeños to wake it up. In fact, nothing on the table was truly spicy until I deployed their house chili oil. The Khao Soi Curry: This was the absolute hero of the night! It completely saved the meal. It was rich and delicious, and it paired unexpectedly well with our New York steak--even though the kitchen served it well-done instead of our requested medium-rare. As dinner went on, it became pretty clear that this spot might cater a bit more to the happy hour and drinking crowd, especially considering my Cranberry-Sprite mix was arguably the most flavor-packed thing on the table. That said, the service was fantastic. The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Pro-Tip: If you're ordering more than two items, do not let them seat you at the tiny tables for two. It's a high-stakes game of food Tetris you will not win. On the bright side, they earned major bonus points for boxing up our leftovers for us. Call me old-fashioned, but I feel like every restaurant should still offer that level of hospitality! Overall, I'd say give it a shot if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a cool atmosphere, but I wouldn't rush off your couch to get there.
