    Bar None Auction!

Great service! A large variety of equipment. I highly suggest this auction they sell equipment every month and there's no need to wait a long time for another auction to be ran.

this was what they represented the items to be. the exact item i bid on.

Where are the laws protecting people from fraudsters {disguised as a business) from getting over on consumers? Particularly I'm talking about a company holding an online auction. They sold items knowing that the items were no good intentionally defrauding people from their money because when I seen the items and they were literally painted & cleaned and represented as new, I expected new items I had already sold half the items that I had purchased but there was a kink in the line, they sold me items that are literally ruined the lawn mower is completely rusted out on the underside & the blades are completely severed. They went as far as to remove every single pulley and belt from it and then paint the item after it was run into the ground, clean it up really really well and put the cover plate back on as if it were new and sell it to some fool. So, i obviously got 500% percent trash in all 3 pallets that i bought from them. so i can't sell them. i am out a lot of money.. They were covered in water and rain and yucky stuff, cuz they were closed on sundays and i won them on saturday evening and it rained during the night of sunday so now they are soaked water logged rusty and broken;. Just to make it a little worse right.,. These items can not be sold. I'm out nearly 2500 but it was known by the auction company what they were selliing. ON THE CARS THAT ARE BROKEN DOWN THAT THEY SELL - THEY WRITE NOT WORKING ON THE CAR IN BIG PRINT.... WHYYYY WOULD I ASSUME IT WOULD BE ANY DIFFERENT FOR THEIR OTHER STOCK. How can a legal business be allowed clean the items to make them look brand new so that somebody would want to purchase them ... after i found out what i had bought and was upset - they told me if i needed my money back i could wait until next month and sell them to some other fool. WTF why would they say that? especially saying oh their not my items so i hold no responsibility to the items that seller sold me. they have an obligation to be a half decent human and look at them and see that the lawn mower was black like it had caught fire and then rusted out because they used water to put it out and left it.... YOU ROBBED ME. KNOWINGLY ROBBED ME. AND I WILL NOT SIT QUIETLY IN THE CORNER. SOME HOW SOME WAY I WILL FIND A WAY TO SUE YOU IN COURT. YOU OWE ME WAYYYY MORE THAN JUST A 9 BLOWERS, 2 LAWN MOWERS, AND SOME CHAIN SAWS NOW. especially considering i emailed the company and got that awful response i got. U ALL SHOULD BE IN PRISON. THATS WERE THEIVES GO. why are your kids eating dinner more important that mine? i assure you. they are equally as important. i am really looking for someone to take my case please please contact me if you would be willing to help. smilezply@gmail.com

I wish that I had read all these reviews before wasting my time going to the auction yard in Sacramento. I bought an 'unused' rotary tiller attachment in a crate which looked brand new and it was half the price of a similar attachment from a local dealer. Unfortunately the main shaft on one side was broken, but broken in a way that was hidden from sight even during a close inspection when I unboxed it. Spent hours putting it together hit and miss because it came with no instructions, but finally got it hooked up to the tractor, only to find that it was broken and useless. Bar None just gave me their "as is - where is" speech and said they had no manufacturer information. So essentially they have junk that is packaged up to hide defects and lure folks in to make the purchase, after which they can go down to the beach and pound sand. What a business model. If you take anything away from this review it is to simply avoid these crooks and hopefully they go out of business. At least this life lesson was learned only costing $500, but you can learn it just by reading this review!

    2x4

Criminals.... Bottom line criminals. I bought 170 2x4s from here and when I opened the package up the entire center of the package is completely rotten. Literally got 25-30 good boards. They literally sold me garbage and I don't understand how any company could sell something that they know is garbag

This is a scam auction. If you look at the similar items for sale, you will notice that they "sell" for the pretty much a same price, to be seen on auction next month again! Why are business like this even allowed to operate is beyond me...

Here's the short version - If you and or your family find yourself in need of an Estate Liquidator,…read moredon't waste your time interviewing anyone else but Susanna Burns. She and her team are professional, they know how to set up an Estate sale to make it appealing to your eye, they market well, they know how to price, and they do what they say they will do within the timeframes given. We could not have been happier with the job they did for us. Long version - After my mother passed away, we were faced with the daunting task of cleaning out her house and preparing it for sale. We began by obtaining a dumpster and disposing of many, many, items that we deemed to have no value and be worthless. MISTAKE. Susanna could have sold much of what we disposed of and probably saved us some on the dump fees. I was amazed at what people will buy. When we interviewed Susanna she arrived on time, was dressed professionally, and came prepared with her insurance certificate, business license, a bond, and references. She explained the whole process to us (from discovering what is in the house all the way through final cleanup). After we selected her team, we discussed timing of the process and the sale. She had some very smart insight about timing, in that the sale should be long enough past Christmas that people feel like they have some spending money in their pocket again. Once they got to work, her associate Eddie took the lead is setting up the sale. They grouped items intelligently, attractively, and appropriately. Their staging of items conveys to buyers that the sale is professionally run. They priced everything in the sale, even brought in an outsider to value the art that my mother had collected over the years (sadly none were Rembrandts ). Once the sale was complete, they disposed of everything that had not sold (as they said they would), and turned over an empty vacuumed house ready to start the real estate sale process. Throughout the process Susanna and Eddie kept us informed and apprised of the whole process. My siblings and I were very happy with the whole process and the results. Since our sale, I have had the opportunity to attend estate sales put on by other companies. Dare I say they don't come close to representing an estate the way Susanna and her team do. Like I said at the beginning, don't waste your time interviewing anyone other than Burns Estate Liquidators. You will end up hiring BEL anyways.

This has to be the most expensive estate sale company in town. I was appalled! $6 for 1 placemat!…read moreSeriously, the half price day was still way too high. I'm guessing they have a "not sold" contingency that helps the bottom line. Don't bother, unless you're willing to pay Chairish.com prices at an estate sale. The items I wanted, I was sure, couldn't really be $6 each for a placemat. Additionally they weren't intact, but were unique. I decided, if that was the case, at half off it's about what I might pay at a normal estate sale. I asked the person taking money in the garage if $6 was the price per mat even with flaws. She discounted to $5 then half off which still falls above your previous claim. It was eye opening to see the level of price gouging. I had been told "Burns is the most expensive in town, which is why they get the high-end (greediest) clients" So, say what you want, I came, I saw, I reported. Looks to me like you are trying to rationalize something away that you know to be true. I repeat, I won't be back and I would discourage anyone else from attending your sales. Good luck to you.
