Came for happy hour and had a fabulous time. The service and food were top tier. Really enjoyed the margaritas and chicken taquitos. The elote was good as well and the chips with salsa and guac were great to share for the table. We also ordered lettuce wraps with shrimp which were a big hit. The only thing missing to amp up the place is music. That would take the bar over the top. Overall nice experience. read more

All great things here. Friendly service, Tequila, tacos and all the fixin's. Sophie was our server and was on point w the timing and our orders. We were there to have some fun and the whole staff was happy to meet our energy and raise it. Drinks give a kick, tacos were delicious. Oh and Two types of ceviche!!! The vibes are part sports bar, part swanky lounge, part Central American Art art museum. Bar Tulio's embodies the full spirit of Miami and the art district with wall murals and big art installations. In the heart of a newly gentrified area in Wynwood we came to eat in this Mexican restaurant on Wednesday night, the place wasn't crowded, but it being the middle of the week there were a bit amount of people. We waited a bit as there was only a small amount of staff. The place is cute with lots of decor. We ordered expresso martini's but I wanted mine with tequila, the waitress was accommodating she brought me a menu of several of the tequilas they offer as I didn't want the house tequila. We ordered TULIO'S NACHOS $18 which were delicious just wish I had them with some meat my fault i didn't order it. My daughter got the MEXICAN RICE BOWL which is similar to the Chipotle bowl but better. We also ordered the quesadilla's which were also delicious. The menu isn't long but everything was tasty. Average price was between 20-30 dollars. On Wednesdays they have Wine Wednesdays. They offer a happy hour and weekly specials. I would definitely recommended checking this place if ever around the area. read more

I walked past this place 30+ times before and I finally stopped. I am super impressed with everything we ordered. We shared a few things, and I can tell you the ceviche was amazing, the birria tacos were delicious, and so was everything else (shrimp, carnitas and grouper tacos). I can't recommend this place enough. I think it's a little bit hidden, and that's why it's not packed all the time, this place is a great find. read more

This was our first visit to Wynwood and Bar Tulio was a highlight. The ambiance is exactly what I love: open air portion of the bar area with plenty of TVs for watching our NBA game without the typical sports bar feel. The restaurant decor was upscale Mexican and comfortable. The food was top notch, especially the grouper taco, elote (comes with 3 small cobs!), and chicken taquitos. Drinks were also spectacular with our bartender, Carlie, making great suggestions and being willing to customize our drinks to our taste (for me, spicier!) -- the blueberry mojito and the Smoky Pineapple Margarita were standouts. Also recommend the local Laces IPA. Omark was also gracious and accommodating, welcoming us and getting the game we wanted on the TV. Overall an exceptional experience. First let's start with our server Emma - she was amazing. Seated quickly, margarita served. We Uber'd from South Beach (Fountaine Bleu) and were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. I had a bowl and my homeboy had the quesadilla - took my leftovers back to the room. Order the homemade chips and salsa - it's killa! First time at this place for taco Tuesday they have tacos $2 off, we ordered Chicken, Birria, and Carnitas; I can say that all of them were 9/10 really good, for dessert churros and tres leches 8/10; the margaritas were strong so 10/10. The service was a little slow but we didn't mind since we were having a great time. This will be a great place to got for happy hour on a Friday night to start the weekend. While visiting Miami, I stumbled upon Bar Tulio's in Wynwood and it instantly became a highlight of my trip. The food is outstanding, the tacos, especially the chicken and veggie options, were packed with authentic flavor that rivals (and even beats) some of my favorite Mexican spots back in LA. Their margaritas are perfectly balanced, and the tequila list is impressive. I hate writing bad reviews but.. this was really bad. I visited yesterday for the first time to try out their happy hour menu I ordered a house marg and a grouper taco to start. My friend ordered a frozen marg. Now, I just want to say that I have low expectations for anything house and understand it's happy hour so things are not as good as the norm menu. However, the marg had no flavor and straight up tasted like poisonous gasoline. It was so hard to drink I didn't even drink half and I left it there, and so did my friend. As far as the taco. Again little flavor and the tortilla was all oil so if there was any flavor it was over taken by that. It was so bad but I ate it bc I was desperate for food. Not to mention also it was dead in there which doesn't bother me but music was very low the staff was now where to be found when I looked around and it just didn't have a vibe to be frank. I hope they improve as I know they are new and the aesthetic is giving very much a corporate bar or like a big time sports bar they just need some improvements. read more

Bar Tulio's started brunch this weekend and it's absolutely delicious. First of all you can't go wrong with the Strawberry margarita from their cocktail menu but they have unlimited brunch drinks too. I Highly recommend the Chorizo Breakfast Tacos, the Breakfast Quesadilla and the Ricotta Pancakes. The Tacos al Pastor are amazing too. And for dessert the Flan and Churros. If you love sports, they have huge TVs all around the restaurant, playing all the games, like March Madnesses, Soccer, Golf, etc. We really enjoyed it. The food and drinks were delicious, our waitress Amanda was great. It is a restaurant worth checking out, we are definitely coming back. I highly recommend it! read more

Amazing new spot! Spacious with great music. I've been here 4 times and they've only been open for 5 months. Take my word. Their happy hour is 5-7pm with $3 tacos and $7 margaritas. Who can say no to that??! Carlos is a great bartender. Caesar is a fantastic host.and if you're lucky, Tulio will come out and say hi. All drinks boast no high fructose corn syrup and fresh squeezed juice. My favorite guilty pleasure is the birria tacos. Worth every penny. I will be back many more times. We went to his place a couple of days ago. I will point the good things first. The drinks are super delicious, fresh & made with real fruit. The nachos were very flavorful, I loved them; however the wait time was a little longer and the place was not that full when we got there. We waited a lot to be served. We paid a little extra for our nachos to come with steak and honestly the plate is huge but it lack of the steak . I can't remember how much I paid total for the nachos but whatever it was i remember thinking omg this is so expensive for nachos. Ok the birria tacos were ok honestly they did lot stand up. My husband ordered a lobster taco which i dislike. It had a lot of lobster but idk I rather for the lobster to be served warmed so maybe that's more on me . I should had asked. Overall I want to go back and get more drinks caused I loved them & maybe try a few more of their appetizers. read more

Recently attended a networking event at Bar Tulio's. The indoor-outdoor space is fantastic for people watching in Wynwood while still being in a cool space -- important in Miami. The restaurant/sports bar had a friendly vibe with great art of Mexican calaveras and cartoon characters, and the service was friendly and efficient. Our first time at Bar Tulio's was a total disaster. We're willing to give it one more shot because the food was genuinely good--but the service experience was a mess. It's Cinco de Mayo, and you'd think a Mexican restaurant would be prepared for one of the busiest nights of the year. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There was no host to greet or seat guests, so we waited 25 minutes just to be told there was a 35-minute wait. We found a seat at the bar at 8:35 p.m., where only one bartender was working and barely acknowledged us. After nearly 45 minutes of trying to get her attention, Juan--the service bartender, who wasn't even supposed to be taking orders--stepped in and saved the night. He was a total angel and the only reason we stayed. He took our food and drink order even though he was clearly slammed making drinks for the entire floor. To top it off, we never got a call for our table--two hours later, and still nothing. At one point, even the host was making drinks because they were that understaffed and overwhelmed. Again, the food was great, and we're hoping this was just a case of poor planning for a big night. But a Mexican restaurant being completely unprepared for Cinco de Mayo? That's hard to overlook. We'll try again--but next time, the service has to be better. read more

It was the perfect balance of refreshing and tart. For our appetizer, my family and I shared the Chicken Taquitos, which arrived quickly and were clearly made fresh to order. The warm, crisp exterior and flavorful filling were fantastic. For my entrée, I couldn't resist the Short Rib Birria Tacos. WOW. These were everything I was hoping for and more! The short rib was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and paired with the rich consommé for dipping. The only issue for me was that they were a bit too greasy. There were a few other notable drawbacks. While our server was friendly, the service itself was rather slow, particularly with our drinks and entrées, despite the restaurant being relatively empty. In addition, we were celebrating a birthday and had specifically requested the birthday dessert. Unfortunately, it was brought out without any special presentation, which dampened the excitement. Although my parents were disappointed, the manager and server quickly apologized and kindly offered to remove the dessert from the bill. The exquisite flavors of the flan and churro quickly made up for the oversight, and all was forgiven. I had high hopes for Bar Tulia given its cool space and large bar area, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish. Arriving at 6:00 pm, the restaurant was clearly short-staffed, which led to our order arriving one dish at a time--definitely not the kind of pacing you'd expect. The food itself was underwhelming. The short rib birria taco, which I was really looking forward to, had no flavor at all. To make matters worse, they got our order wrong, adding to the frustration. The salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar, and the rest of the meal was mediocre at best. To top it off, the dishes were served on plastic plates. For the prices they're charging, I'd expect much better quality and presentation. Speaking of prices--there's absolutely no value here. And to add insult to injury, they tack on an automatic 18% gratuity, so make sure you double-check your bill. It's a shame because the space itself has potential, and the bar area is nice and spacious. But there are way too many other great spots in Wynwood for tacos. For starters, we had chips and salsa along with chips and guacamole. Note that they are served separately, and neither is complimentary like at some other places. There's nothing better than Bar Tulio's happy hour. You can literally eat tacos and drink margaritas for under $20 -- whaaattt? We got $3 tacos (carnitas, beef, and chicken) and $7 margaritas, and $9 guacamole (our favorite). Everything was delicious, the atmosphere is amazing, and the vibes are super nice. The cocktails were fabulous and heavy on the alcohol so go easy. They have a great 2foe 1 drink menu too with lots of options. It's a great late night meal location and the food didn't taste like it had been sitting under a light or reheated from earlier. Everything was fresh and hot from the kitchen. We got lucky finding a spot out front but I didn't see a whole of parking other than street parking. We're gonna go back on our next visit and try some of the other items on the menu. Definitely worth it.

It's a few blocks in the outskirts of the busy bustling streets which made it a little more quiet and calm. I enjoyed my experience there.
