I've been here maybe a total of 4 to 5 times and I like the food and the drinks. They have a great Old-Fashioned cocktail and I really love their chicken flautas. Some feedback I have is that service is a little slow, but nothing too horrible. I think they could use more help at times when it gets busy. The service is kind, but sometimes the bartenders can be standoffish, and I don't feel super welcomed but then once you talk to the them they start to warm up.

It only took me a year and a half to come back to this stylish cocktail bar. To be honest, it left me a bit cold because I came in later in the evening when it was buzzing with youngsters, in particular, provocatively dressed women who were flirting like mad with the young buck bartender. While my $14 Espresso Martini took a while to get, I was basically ignored, so I didn't even bother writing about the experience. I didn't retain much from that evening. It's just that I noticed they open earlier than most Mission bars, and frankly, a 4PM Espresso Martini appealed to me on a cold, rainy afternoon. Still $14, it was better than I remembered because the female bartender was quite professional in mixology and cordial in demeanor. I only noticed this time that it was made with top flight ingredients - Ketel One vodka, Tia Maria coffee liqueur, Cumaica espresso, Mexican chocolate (Photo 5). Ah, that's better. COCKTAIL - 4 stars...a better mix this time AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...relatively stylish space SERVICE - 3.5 stars...the recent visit was a 4, but the earlier visit was definitely a 2 TOTAL - 4 stars...probably better before the youthful armies saunter in RELATED - Exploring the Mission? Stumbled upon this bar while walking around. Beautiful interior and good service. Super clean inside and good ambiance. It was a slow day and we got canned drinks so I can't comment on the cocktails. Food looked and smelled good so I will be back for that.

I made reservations but the waitress said they didn't receive it. Keep in mind I had email of confirmation. It was empty so we sat quickly. We ordered drinks and the worst thing can happen a baby cockroach ran across the table. A friend killed it. I wanted to leave but ended up staying. We got our food. Orders got mixed up in the kitchen. Food was cold and ok. I wouldn't go back. It looked clean and had big tvs for sporting events but that cockroach told me don't go back

Friendly staff and affordable cocktails made Bar TZA a great kickback spot to catch up with friends before the start of another week. I appreciate the attention to detail the bartender put into making the drink just right, and the coffee was pretty strong. Luckily, I did not spill any of the nearly overflowing drink on my walk to our table, so you know it's good value, and they've got some solid glassware. The music was a bit on the louder side, so I had to talk louder than normal and repeat myself sometimes when speaking to my friends, but overall had a good experience here.

Super casual place to hang out to have good drinks and bar food. The bar offers a good selection of cocktails. The "Nicoya Old Fashioned" is very interesting, smoky taste, good flavor. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was welcoming & friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.

Randomly stopped here while walking through Mission midday on a Sunday. The vibes are great. They were playing some reggaeton bangers from back in high school. I was trying to hit there dinner menu, but had to settle for brunch. Chilaquilas were awesome. Got a side of fresh fruit not mushy and perfect sweet. Solid midday beer and breakfast at this spot. The bartenders had a great attitude and very attentive. I will be back to try their dinner menu.

My husband and I came here to watch some football playoffs. We appreciated that they played the game sound. Cocktails were great, but there isn't much ambiance here (at least during the day on a Saturday). Interior decor is subway tile and basic chairs/tables, but the color-changing wall behind the bar adds a little bit of character.

Amazing micheladas! I went during happy hour and had some amazing drinks and great service from bryan!! Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped in for midday margaritas on a whim and I'm glad I did! It's sort of hard to see what's going on inside, but once you're in it's even more modern and bright than you might think. I can't speak to food or nighttime partying, but the bartender was cool and our drinks were good. We got a watermelon margarita and he mixed up a (very spicy) jalapeno margarita for me. Top marks for both. I'd definitely come back to try other stuff.

I've never been here before the place is really nice. The service was nice. Our server was great. The guacamole was one of the best I've tasted. Love the music and atmosphere. The bartender was great, and my Margarita was amazing. Next time in the city I will come for breakfast, or lunch. Great place.

Potato Bravas, fresh meat, chips, salsa, and guacamole

If you want real deal, cocktails, and fantastic appetizers this is the place to come to in the Mission. Great atmosphere and bartenders who make quality craft drinks, including them mind bending , Serrano, and habanero pepper Margarita. The potato bravas was the best I've had outside of the Spain !!!

Gourmet wings and fries. Master chef dressings.

For dessert we shared the Ube Crème Brûlée I wanted to try the house made chips cause they looked delicious but I was too full. Definitely a great place to come and celebrate!

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.
