I really enjoyed watching a basketball game here and having a couple of bites. The yucca fries and accompanying sauce were pretty good. I've been here maybe a total of 4 to 5 times and I like the food and the drinks. They have a great Old-Fashioned cocktail and I really love their chicken flautas. Some feedback I have is that service is a little slow, but nothing too horrible. I think they could use more help at times when it gets busy. It only took me a year and a half to come back to this stylish cocktail bar. To be honest, it left me a bit cold because I came in later in the evening when it was buzzing with youngsters, in particular, provocatively dressed women who were flirting like mad with the young buck bartender. While my $14 Espresso Martini took a while to get, I was basically ignored, so I didn't even bother writing about the experience. I didn't retain much from that evening. It's just that I noticed they open earlier than most Mission bars, and frankly, a 4PM Espresso Martini appealed to me on a cold, rainy afternoon. Still $14, it was better than I remembered because the female bartender was quite professional in mixology and cordial in demeanor. I only noticed this time that it was made with top flight ingredients - Ketel One vodka, Tia Maria coffee liqueur, Cumaica espresso, Mexican chocolate (Photo 5). Ah, that's better. I made reservations but the waitress said they didn't receive it. Keep in mind I had email of confirmation. It was empty so we sat quickly. We ordered drinks and the worst thing can happen a baby cockroach ran across the table. A friend killed it. I wanted to leave but ended up staying. We got our food. I appreciate the attention to detail the bartender put into making the drink just right, and the coffee was pretty strong. Randomly stopped here while walking through Mission midday on a Sunday. The vibes are great. They were playing some reggaeton bangers from back in high school. I stopped in for midday margaritas on a whim and I'm glad I did! It's sort of hard to see what's going on inside, but once you're in it's even more modern and bright than you might think. I can't speak to food or nighttime partying, but the bartender was cool and our drinks were good. We got a watermelon margarita and he mixed up a (very spicy) jalapeno margarita for me. We were a very big group sat at the bar on Monday night and Waldy made our time amazing as he explained the menu and offered oysters on happy hour which were to die for. He had prepared an amazing watermelon margaritas and the potatas bravas complimented really well. Waldy was a really charming bartender who not only made the best margaritas I ve ever tasted but also talked about the neighborhood and introduced us to some of the other regulars. Tasty drinks, got the Hasta la madre and other mezcal drink (on the top right of menu). Their menu describes how the drink is gonna taste; from fruity to stronger flavors, definitely helped me decide what i wanted. Had tacos, they came in 4s and were stacked!! Wouldve liked to have the tortilla a lil toasted to catch all the juice, but thats my preference. Ur gonna get messy either way The Bartender Steven was so nice and chill. Saw him go around to check on everyone, and honestly thats what i like to see. They have event nights, so gonna have to check that out sometime. This place is awesome! I first checked it out sometime when they first opened almost a year ago. They had a super fun band playing at that time and since then, this place just keeps getting better and better. Their cocktails are on point! The watermelon margarita is my fave - it is so well balanced with the right amount of good tequila without being overly sweet with watermelon. Their chicken wings are darn good and I love their change to the calamari, which is much meatier now. Tacos are bomb!! Good team behind the bar and loving their selection of live music and DJs.
