Stopped in to check out this new spot, and I can already tell it's going to become a local favorite. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and the drinks were outstanding--well-balanced, creative, and made with care. Ordered the garlic sumac fries. They're perfectly crispy with an incredible blend of savory garlic and tangy sumac that makes them impossible to stop eating. Had the chance to check out this new restaurant in SF yesterday, and I had a great time! This is a Peruvian-Mediterranean fusion spot, and the food was delicious. The empanadas were perfect flavor and the green chimichurri sauce was also fire. De Andre and Chef Rob, a New York native, came out and personally introduced themselves, which was a really nice touch. You can tell there's a lot of heart behind this place. They also have a premium tequila selection. I ordered a mezcal cocktail that was super tasty. I personally would have enjoyed a little more alcohol in it, but that's just my preference the flavor itself was excellent. The ambiance was cute and vibey, the music was amazing, the sound level was just right, the bathrooms were clean, and the servers were friendly and welcoming. New spot with the kinks to go along with it. Starting with the positives: Staff - Top notch, no notes Drinks - IG worthy and delicious. They take they their drinks seriously here and it shows Decor - Soft, subtle and inviting, for sure the kind of environment that makes you want to linger Food - Small compact menu, but well balanced flavors and very reasonably priced NEGATIVE: Despite the less than full space, the ticket times from the kitchen took way longer than expected, like double as long as they should have. Spare your comments about how fresh food takes time, yes it does, and I understand that, but a hot appetizer should be on the table around 11 minutes after the ticket is entered, not almost 30. Overall kudos to the front of house. I really hope back of house gets food wait times trimmed down, add a killer happy hour and continue to evolve the menu. Next Chapter is already ahead of the game and has the potential to become one of the premier watering holes in the city. read more

The space is so leveled up from before, the vibes are immaculate. The space is warm and inviting, yet cozy enough to not be lost in the crowd. The service was great, attentive and pleasant. We tried the chicken bites, wagyu, burrata and fries. The size of the platters were just enough for shareable plates. The wagyu was so yummy and soft. By far our favorite. Overall, a wonderful place that we will all definitely come back to. Recommend for a date night. read more

I stopped by Next Chapter Cocktails & Tapas for their grand opening, and it was a great first impression! The space is beautiful, welcoming, and has a really nice atmosphere. I didn't get a chance to try the food since I was short on time, but I did order two cocktails: the La Diosa and the Port of Lima. Both were delicious and had really well-balanced, quality ingredients. My favorite was the La Diosa because the house-made lychee blend gave it such a unique and refreshing flavor. The service was also excellent. We got our drinks quickly, and both the bartenders and servers were friendly and attentive. I'm looking forward to coming back to try the tapas next time! read more

Def came for the VIBES.. grown n sexy ambiance and ppl, friendly customer service the moment u walk in til u leave, good drinks, amazing food.. none of it was disappointing which is extremely rare. I'm a sampler girl so def a big fan of tapas.. especially sweet n savory so had to order pistachio burrata with peaches (omg more please!), Korean fried chicken (delish) and the empanadas Amarillo were even better than the ones I salivate over at Limon.. will be back! 10/10! read more

Food: every dish we ordered was impressive both in presentation and more importantly, taste. The empanadas had a nice crunch and the huancaina crema took it to the next level. The hamachi was without a doubt the best dish we had. The sauce was so creamy and the avocados were a nice touch. The lamb sliders were juicy and tender. Drinks: La Diosa was dangerously yummy! You could barely taste the alcohol and the lychee flavors were so fresh. Costa Rosa was light and the rosemary garnish gave off a pleasant aroma. Ambiance: perfect for an intimate date night or the end of a night out in the town with close friends. The decor was simple yet elegant. They really paid attention to the small details such as a personal stand to hang your bags and a hard cover book that the check came in (fitting for a place called Next Chapter). Service: the staff really found their footing since the soft opening began. They constantly made sure our water glasses were full and the flow of the dishes came in a steady pace. Ambiance is so nice here, a chill vibe with nice decor and music is on point too. The service is amazing, all the staff were helpful and super nice. I had a Port of Lima drink and it was so good, sweet and sour. The food was bomb; we got plantains, lamb sliders, and Mediterranean sampler sooooo good and it came out so fast.
