Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for drinks while waiting for 167 Raw seating (they suggested we do so via text!). We arrived to an empty restaurant, but the hostesses played the whole give us your number and we will call you when the table is ready game. No sooner than I stepped two feet from them, they indicated that our table was ready. Why do restaurants do this? We arrive at the cocktail tables which are shaded and have fans blowing on them (nice touch!). Service was pretty slow as it took almost 30 minutes to get 4 cocktails (again, the restaurant was pretty empty). The cocktails were good, but overall I would not recommend this location for drinks. While associated with 167 Raw, the staff does not seem to have the same level of training. read more

This place is just gorgeous, whoever did the design really knocked it out of the park. The vibe is coastal and cool, yet still warm and inviting. Still haven't eaten anything here, but I've been for drinks twice, I love the cocktail list, the way they separate "Light & Bright" from "Bold & Boozy". I had the Fulton street Rickey and a sangria. The Rickey had a little kick with ginger that made it interesting and the sangria was sweet but still tasty. I have yet to try the food, but knowing it's from 167, it's bound to be good. read more

We had the calamari, oysters, lobster spaghetti and the tuna. I mean I get it, lobster is expensive especially when it's from New England, having said that, pasta ain't the pricey. As far as the tuna goes, I'd be very surprised if it was day boat fresh and it might be nice if there was actually some starches in the tuna dish, say maybe rice, makes sense to me. The reason for the 3 star review is the attitude that greeted us at the front of bar 167. You are paying top dollar for the food and service - you should be greeted with an attitude to match. Instead of feeling welcomed at the high quality establishment that it is, we felt like we were met by a bouncer that happened to be 18 and unaware of how to treat guests that are dining here (blonde, Jean skirt...). Wandered here with our toddler when the 167 oyster bar had a long wait. Awesome staff, delicious cocktails and solid crab salad roll. Already left this on Google Reviews, but even though this is "just" the sister property to the famous 167 Raw, still expect a wait. But....it is 100% worth it! The atmosphere takes you away to a Mediterranean oasis. Their front door team is extremely impressive with their organization, accommodation and accuracy (thank you Sarah for your lovely hospitality!!). We visited this past weekend, started at a standing table and we were approached (despite being in a sea of people!!) swiftly to be moved inside after 25/30 mins. Look, the cocktails here are an example of when 'craft' goes too far. They are overly complicated and fall short of their goal in that they are not the 'multi-level' drinks they claim to be. We tried 4 different ones and they all just ended up being flat (for a lack of a better term). And, for what they cost ($$$) I expect more. If I'm paying that much for a drink I'd better want to order a second one based on the taste. Here, that was not the case. Now, the bartenders, when they weren't engaged in staff gossip or talking about their hangovers, were informed and did seem to want to produce good drinks. The bar itself upstairs is gorgeous by the way. Love that. So, if someone else suggested meeting up here, I might offer up an alternative but I'd be willing to give them another try if asked. We were truly hoping to get a table at 167 raw and went to bar 167 to grab a drink and an app. We ended up staying for multiple drinks, apps and shared a crab roll. Everything was absolutely exquisite. We had a caviar donut and the caviar cones and definitely prefer the cones but both were great. The calamari was the best I've had in years. The crab roll + caviar was stupid good. All of our cocktails were fabulous. The service was fabulous. Honestly I hate how much I love both places because it makes it hard to stray when I'm in town. I've been wanting to try bar 167 for a long time but it's always busy when I try to go on the weekend which makes sense so we went on a Tuesday night and it was there's no wait we sat outside the hostess and the servers were so nice. We ordered the Citro spritz. It was very light and citrusy kind of and it's like an aperol spritz, but like different. we ordered the almond olives, honey and cheese plate because we weren't that hungry, but we definitely wanted to try something and it was the perfect amount. Honestly, we didn't even finish at all we had almonds slept over, but the almonds were the perfect amount saltiness and the olives were so good, like I could have a whole bunch of those to take home. The cheese was phenomenal, it was 36 month old cheese. The honey mixed in with the almonds was definitely the move. I would love to remake this plate just for a snack at home. It's so easy yet classy. I would highly recommend coming on a weeknight due to it always being busy. They give out cute postcards with the check and match books on your way out. I would bring my family here for a little drink and app. I would love to try their Taziki drink the server explained it and It sounded so interesting and fun. The food and drinks were both great and our original server was great, the ambiance is also very chill inside unlike other places in the area which was nice. It would have been 5 stars over all had a string of events not happened towards the end of our meal. Our server had to randomly leave and do something else so someone else was left to take care of us, so we asked her if we could please had the checks. She came by and mumbled a few words and gave us the three checks back with only one merchant copy. Hello, I've attempted to call your restaurant but have not been able to get through. I dined at Bar167 last night with two other people. We split our check evenly three ways. When it came time for us to sign our receipts, our waitress came back and said that she ran out of receipt paper so there would only be one merchant copy despite there being three transactions on three separate cards. Wanting to make sure we tipped our waitress correctly, we tried to flag her to ask about this but she did not return to our table despite trying to get her attention. We asked the man clearing our table to please send her over to clarify so we could make sure we tipped her appropriately. A while later she quickly came by and literally threw three customer copy receipts on the table without saying a word and quickly walked away. We tried to get her attention again but she disappeared and we needed to leave the restaurant at that time. We were all charged random amounts each greater than what the receipts reflected of the original charge. We tried emailing and calling the restaurant and have not been able to contact them. They do have a small food menu, so far I've only tried the Focaccia. Recently my go-to cocktail has been the Point and Press - they use lemon bar syrup but the drink is light enough it doesn't taste too sweet! One of my other favorites is the Fire in the Garden, the green chile vodka does make it very spicy but it's very good. My husband and father both ordered the lamb sandwich which was VERY dry. Almost inedible because dry meat plus lots of bread... it really needed served with a sauce or au jus. The focaccia bread appetizer came solo, no butter or even dipping oil. It wasn't really edible plain... the waiter said you need to order it with cheese (a separate appetizer tor $16). So you're at $32 for bread and cheese lunch app. I ordered the tuna Nicoise... which was an unimpressive Romain salad with very few olives, tomatoes and a few slices of tuna. When we placed our orders, the waiter said everything is meant to be table shared. I would say none of our meals were sharable. We all agreed that was a poorly executed concept. read more
