Me and some friends decided to go on a Charlestown bar crawl while we were in town for the weekend. little Palm stood out to use as the ambiance and environment looks enticing. Bar goers beware, we walked past this location as there is not adequate signage to identify where this bar actually is (it's located inside a hotel)... However once we made our way into the back outdoor bar area we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, there is a lot of potential with this place. Although not your typical packed social environment bar, the mixologists manning the countertop were absolute studs with a Boston shaker. I decided to go with a frozen mojito which blew me away(despite the brain freeze). Overall I think there is room for improvement, but they may be at the mercy of their location inside the lodge that houses them. Pleasant experience and warrants a very deserved 4 stars. read more

This is a very nice bar located inside the hotel, upstairs from the main entrance. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were looking for a spot where we could sit outside with Luna, enjoy some holiday décor, and try a few seasonal cocktails. The outdoor area was decorated, though not nearly as much as the inside. There was a section farther back with lit Christmas trees, but they weren't visible from where we were seated. We asked if we could order food at the bar and then move to that back area, but were told that wasn't allowed. Instead, we stayed in the main outdoor bar area, each ordered one drink, and shared an appetizer. Our server was friendly and we had no issues with service, though the prices were definitely on the higher side. I ordered the Jinglebird in Paradise with derrumbes mezcal, apricot, cinnamon-infused aperol, lemon, and bubbles for $16. It was a good drink overall, though it didn't really taste very Christmassy. My husband ordered the Four Christmases with Bulleit bourbon, Mr Black coffee liqueur, crème de mûre, pandan, and lime for $16. He absolutely loved it and said it tasted like Christmas in a glass. He would definitely order it again. For food, we shared the pork tostadas with slow-roasted Holy City Hogs pork shoulder, fire-roasted winter squash, and citrus for $18. They had good flavor, but for the price, we didn't feel they were quite worth it. We only got two small tostadas each, and it wasn't what we were expecting. Our total bill came to about $60. The waitress brought out a water bowl for Luna, and there were heaters outside along with a lit fireplace, which made the space feel cozy despite the cooler weather. read more

I always love coming to Little palm! They had the whole place decked out for Christmas and the drink I had was good. We sat outside but still felt comfortable because they had enough heaters to keep everyone warm. I do wish that the portions for the food were bigger but they taste delicious! Came to check this place out on a beautiful afternoon. Weather was just right. It's connected to a hotel so the bar and restaurant is next to the pool area. There are two bar spaces. One beside the pool and one toward the back. We were seated at the booths closer to the pool area. Although service was slow, the staff were friendly. The food wasn't bad, but certainly wasn't memorable and we ordered a variety. We got the burger which came with yuka fries, wings, and chicken croquettes. I've wanted to visit Little Palm at The Ryder Hotel for years! I've been following them on IG for quite some time, so I already knew just how cute this little Palm Springs inspired restaurant was... Think all the pink & green palms, tropical vibes, etc. We went for brunch on Tuesday, so it was not very busy. The restaurant is situated just off the pool of the hotel, and the Little Palm bar services all of the pool guests. We did some exploring and discovered their stunning outdoor patio, complete with a tiki bar, plenty of umbrellas for shade, and gorgeous breezeblock accents. It was super hot outside that day, so no one was opting to sit outside. They also have a coffee bar downstairs with a signature menu that you can order off of at Little Palm. We started with their seasonal matcha with mango (Tokyo) and their iced pistachio latte (Cairo). As you already know, I'm a sucker for anything pistachio, so I could not pass up this drink. For brunch, we ordered their overnight oats, avocado toast with a poached egg, and a side of bacon. The portions were very generous and the bowl of oatmeal was massive. We couldn't even finish our meals, but it made for great leftovers the next morning. The service was also FAB, and it was so fun to explore the hotel after we were done eating. If I were a local, this would definitely be spot in my regular rotation. read more

Menu is constantly changing from what I've gathered but everyone can find something to enjoy here whether it's drinks or food. This time around I got the LP double cheeseburger with the yucca fries super happy about my choice the meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well the toppings and bun everything on this burger was perfect I highly recommend. I had some blackbird credits to spend and although I haven't had a good service experience here in the past for drinks I thought I would at least try their food. It was fairly busy and they always kinda of seem understaffed because it takes some time to get greeted. The male host (Jaiya) was able to squeeze me in since I was alone and I didn't get greeted from a bartender initially when I tried to sit down. He sat me at a corner table which was fine but the floor was pretty dirty with crumbs all over the floor. He came by shortly to sweep it up which was nice. A few moments later a nice girl greeted me and took my order right away. Mojo wings- has this delicious dry rub and almost verde like dipping sauce. Very good Shrimp tostada - every bite was perfect. Every component was great together. Tuna bowl- I got this one Togo and although it was quite a small portion it was packed with flavor. The way they layered and each spoonful was so tasty. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was but if I can say critique anything is that their customer service skills could use some work. I work in the F&B industry nearby and every time I've come in the past the service has been extremely delayed or not very good. I came here for the Little Pine pop up and the place was decorated so beautiful. Everything was clean and I purchased the ice skating rental. The ice was plastic so no one could really skate since we couldn't get a grip to slide. To be honest, I probably wouldn't do the skating again but it was a fun experience. The drinks were really good and we ordered from the holiday menu. The only downside was that we sat next to the fire place and it burned the back of my fur coat! I had a 3 course meal from the restaurant week menu - chicken tortilla soup, Jamaican chicken and rice, and coconut custard. I also got a mocktail, the shallow end. I enjoyed my entire meal and loved the variety of options they were offering. Jamaican chicken and the soup might be a very mild spicy if you are not used to spice. The mocktail was very good and refreshing. I love when restaurants offer a mocktail option. Our server was an angel and so kind. Little Palm is all about having cute vibes. This hotel sits at the top of a hotel and is decorated as a cute boho beach theme and will occasionally do a holiday pop up. I visited with a large group of friends. Once we were seated it took the staff a minute before coming to check on us and take our order. I started my night with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and decided to order the citrus salad with the chilled mojo chicken. The food was decent, but the salad was lacking flavor. I found myself asking for an extra side of the vinaigrette dressing that was served with it. I think I'll need to give this place another try as my friend's entrees looked more appealing than mine! read more

After our lovely meal at Stella's we stopped at Little Palm at the request of the friend group. Little Palm is attached to the Ryder hotel and offers two bars, one inside and one outside. Both outside decks were decorated for the holidays and had fire pits going for everyone to enjoy. The drinks were ok, it was more about the ambiance than anything else. My wife and I enjoyed the Little Saint Nick which was in a festive Christmas glass. The bartenders were a bit backed up so maybe staff up for the holiday but overall great experience! As expected, Little Palm had the CUUUUTEST vibes!!! Inside, outside, poolside, it didn't matter. The whole place was cute as can be. They have a massive patio, which is separate than their pool area. We looked into making a pool reservation but there's a pretty hefty food & bev minimum required for only 2 hours of pool time, so we stuck with a patio reservation instead. It was lovely!
