Both Barbara and Mayte take good care of you and make sure you are comfortable from the moment you walk in through the doors. Please note the door is locked for safety. You will simply need to knock to get inside. Once inside, you will switch to their slippers (i like to wear or bring socks for this) and if it is your first time, fill out some paperwork. Be sure to verbally let them know if you have any concerns or allergies before they start as a precaution. I had my first appointment with Barbara and I've been coming in regularly ever since! She helped calmed my nerves as I was pretty nervous the first time around. She walked through everything she was going to do which helped me a lot! After just 2 sessions, I already saw results which made me so happy! I wasnt seeing much results with the previous place I was going to for months. Because of my positive experience, i took my mom to get a facial too. She was with Mayte, and she took care of my mom so nicely! My mom was so relaxed and happy! She kept talking about her experience on the way home and told my aunts about it too. Looking forward to her next appointment after the holidays! There is parking in the back that can get full but there has always been spots when I've gone on a weekend in the morning and weekday afternoon. She is truly transformed my dehydrated/sensitively skin to the point where my flare ups are no longer a frequent occurrence. The spa rooms are always neat and tidy. First time seeing Barbara for Dermaplane & a microdermabrasion facial but she had kindly suggested a less abrasive approach that would still provide exfoliation for texture improvement. So, she offered a specific Glo2facial session. Overall, the experience was just what my skin needed. The product line was quality and smelled amazing. I liked that she would explain what she was doing as she went along or would let the silent moments take over. I appreciated that she listened to my past experiences and any current issues that concerned me most. I left with my skin feeling clean, supple and moisturized for it seemed like several days. Brea location is ideal for me and the studio was calming, low lit, clean and modern without feeling overly opulent. Be prepared to switch into a pair of sanitized slide sandals to walk around in. Maythe & Barbara are very friendly talented estheticians. I would say my skin condition overall is healthy & clean. I was looking for a pampering session because I heard about this place from an IG influencer & I happened to be very close to the location. My first impression of the place: parking is very inconvenient and the location is dark and dingy. I sort of felt grossed out that I had to change into their slippers, probably from people who wore it before (who know if they had toe fungus, who knows if these slippers had been sanitized). The facial rooms are not very neat or private, you can even hear the conversations from the other room! The bed is unstable, and rolls. I almost slipped off when getting up because the wheels weren't locked. In top of that, the strangest part was that I had my treatments by two technicians instead of one person throughout the experience. It was very interruptive and not relaxing & felt very rushed and not thorough. As a first time client here, you would think they would take more interest in you, but I felt like they didn't even know I had an appointment with them, and didn't even know if I pre-paid online. In addition, if I hadn't told them of my medical condition before the facial, I don't think they would have even known from the questionnaire they made me fill out in the beginning. They honestly did not even read it. At the end of the facial, it was a bit horrific to enter the "office" it was filled with messy paperwork and billions of skin care products. Who knows how long they've been there and if they've been expired. The worst part of the experience is a woke up with a brand new pimple TLDR; I would say this place is overpriced for what I received. I'm sure that the products and technology is top notch but I honestly don't think it's worth $270. This is the most expensive facial I've ever paid for throughout my experiences, and it was sub par. read more

I drove up to this place and found parking very easily. It seems to be a new building, and parking was a breeze. The office is right off the street, and the door was locked. Common sense is to knock, and they opened it. This made me feel more at ease because today you want safety first. I filled out the questionnaire slipped into their flip flops (I kept my socks on) and entered the room. This office is clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. Mayte asked me what I was looking for, and I said anti- aging, a glow, and what she recommends. Let me tell you, did she work on me! I can't explain what I got, but I received a few different treatments, and it felt good, and my skin loved it! At the end of the treatment, Mayte was sure to inform me to be careful when getting off the bed. It swings. I removed myself off the bed carefully but you need force to move it and I looked at the bed, and it was planted flat on the floor, unlike a customer mentioned in a review that it had wheels. My family noticed my skin, but they knew what I was getting. It's when I went to work and the coworkers compliments your skin/face, that's when you know it's all worth it. I plan to return for upkeep. Mayte, you are great, and I plan to see you soon and bring my husband! (My face gets hot and red) Mayte adjusted treatment to my needs. Barbara is simply AMAZING!!! Often times I would go and get a facial from somewhere else and never know what they're actually doing to my face while I'm lying there. With Barbara, she explains every step of the process with me in such an easy and understandable way. It makes me feel so at ease knowing all the benefits of each step and how it's helping my skin get better. Her studio is extremely nice and clean. She follows a high standard for COVID protocols so I feel very safe in her hands. She even has a custom plexiglass shield to place between her and the patients face which is pretty cool. The icing on the cake of why I love going here is her use of the Hydrafacial! Honestly the best device out there that really makes my skin feel great. It literally sucks out all the bad juju from my face while at the same time injecting all these good serums to repair and replenish my skin. I know that extractions are the absolute worst especially when you have acne ridden skin like mine but she knows exactly what to do to DEEPLY clean my face while making me laugh and cry while doing it She is very knowledgeable about how to treat all types of skin concerns and has worked with me as I truly struggled through my issues... it freaking hurt but honestly it was worth it to get all the gunk my hormonal body wants to surface on my face. Just received my 1st hydrafacial with Barbara. She is very clean and meticulous about keeping a safe clean environment. During consultation, both Barbara and I wore masks the entire time. When you walk in, she checks your temperature and has you complete COVID questionnaire as well as a facial questionnaire. (She also checks her own temperature in front of you and shows you her temperature-very nice gesture!) Her studio is beautiful and very welcoming. She explains every step before she does it. She knows what products will benefit your skin and also asks what your skin goals are that way she can make the best recommendations.
