I was having difficulty finding parts for my 2014 bbq that I had purchased from them 10 years ago. When I get treated right I am a loyalist so I went back. I was on the fence on whether to replace parts or buy new. Be careful buying from this chain. Everything is special order and nothing can be returned. I spent over $7000 on equipment for an outdoor island and the Blaze refrigerator was defective, it does not cool. Instead of just shipping a new one they are attempting to get a replacement from the manufacture. I could have ordered all my equipment online for less money but wanted to use a local vendor in case of issues like this. Instead of standing behind the products they sell they just tell you its on the manufacture., even if it is a defective product that does not work from day one! That is not the way to do business! Again the product was delivered by BBQ Galore defective. It never worked!!! The explanation below passes the buck to the manufacture. Why do I need you If you are unwilling to stand behind the products you sell? You should post a sign in your stores that says no returns and if something does not work when it is delivered you must go through the manufacture. I have to say the customer service is good! I was looking for a pizza oven for the Green Mountain smoker for my husband. I called around and found it here. This was his Christmas gift and I had to make it happen. They held the item for me to come get it! They rocked!!! The one thing tonight that stopped me from giving 5 was that I didn't know the pizza oven doesn't include the wooden pizza peel---the large pizza paddle. It is shown on the box so I thought it was included. WRONG. Now it's too late for me to drive to the westside or any of the far and few locations to get it. My husband LOVED it and was so happy to receive it. I'll have to order it online and have it shipped. My only recommendation is to encourage staff to do suggestive selling. A quick question: "do you already have the[ ___] to use with it?" I would have bought the pizza peel, as well. My kids are disappointed because they expected the pizza tonight. read more

I am giving them 2 stars just due to lack of service! They do not acknowledge you as you walk in the store even though no other customers are in the store. I have bought 2 Barbeques from them and I they are working great but when you walk into an establishment you expect to be greeted and acknowledged, asked to be helped or something!! Yesterday we walked in to buy our 3rd barbecue island and the whole shabang but the only person working there who was on the phone did not even look our way, he put the customer on hold and walked to the back but even then he said nothing to us as if we did not exist so we left. read more

Sorry to see the negative reviews here focused on customer service. I use Yelp all the time and haven't reviewed much, but felt my customer experience at the store was so good I would post one. If you're going to the store make sure you talk to Vince or Anthony. I was looking for an outdoor grill for a built in kitchen and on separate occasions they walked me through the different price tiers and what the differences were in each grill they showed me. They were incredibly knowledgeable on the product and it never felt they were over-selling me. Instead they gave me an education on the grills and allowed me to come to my own conclusion on what to buy. They take pride in the store and their work I would never hesitate to go back. read more

Anthony and Vince were AWESOME! I went in to Barbeques Galore to buy a smoker for my husband. I had no clue what I was doing.... These were uncharted waters for me... I am definitely a California girl and my husband is from Arkansas and comes from a family of BBQ pit masters.. I went in not knowing one thing about smokers and grills and I left an expert! They had the best customer service and taught me everything I needed to know to make sure I made the right purchase! I have been purchasing BBQ's from this store for over 30 years and it was more than time for me to graduate to a natural gas bbq. I called before going to the store and spoke with Justin. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, understood the features I was looking for, patiently answered all of my questions - I had many - and that continued when I came to the store. The happy result is I that have purchased a Blaze 4-burner LTE natural gas bbq. The selection is very good at this store and there are plenty of accessories as well. This store and all of its employees have always made this a great one-stop shopping experience! One more thing: I never feel pressured or up-sold which also makes for a great experience! Gettin' Schooled on BBQs... Who knew that going shopping for BBQs, learning the difference between grilling and Q'ing, and things like Wine Barrel Chunks would get me excited? Yet, I have to say, Saturday, I had a FABULOUS date. Barbeques Galore was just one of 3 stops on the map. 1st - base comparison with BBQ options at Home Depot. 2nd - an impressive line up of accessories at OSH. And 3rd - a final stop here at BBQ Galore in West LA, made my day of holding hands, listening to music while driving, chatting, and an occasional public smooch and shopping for Q's a complete pleasure. BBQ galore had lots of items. One could shop for the $1000+ infra-reds or Green Eggs, or scale it down to a nice portable Weber Gas Grill for around $300. BBQ galore even had their own version of a portable gas grill that looked something like a LARGE M&M in a bright color (this one has me thinking). They also had nice accessories - a metal rack to hang on the side of your round black charcoal Weber's to hold your tools (as a person who likes organization I loved this!); a cool thermometer that you can place right on your grill; flavored wood chips, etc. Anyway, it was here that I got the BBQ bug - why settle for only a gas or only a charcoal grill? Why not get both!!!! The sales guy was helpful, but not pushy. They are connected to an Omaha Steaks place (boo for the lack of ostrich but not many carry that). But, alas, the one I really wanted was out of stock. The best part, was I now circled back around, got the cheaper wood grill elsewhere just to satisfy my need for immediate gratification, took my hotties (the date and BBQ) home to put it together, and after some wonderful Q'ing by my date who now smelled of delicious wine soaked wood chips, I was in heaven. I'll live to buy my dream Weber portable grill, stand, and cover, another day and will be back soon! read more

10:30a on a Sunday morning. Was looking for something particular to use later that day, a remote barbecue thermometer, so I called first. I asked for it by the two brands marked on the package as I'd seen it online, Maverick, Redi Chek. They said they didn't carry those. So, I asked if they had other ones. The guys told me they did, put me on a brief hold (less than 1 min) and told me that they had ones by a company named "redi chek." I asked him what model they had (as I was hoping for a specific one). He said he could check for me, but they were really busy in there, and asked "did I want to hold". "Sure." 15 minutes later, with no sound from the other end, I hung up and decided to drive the 10 minutes to get there. I probably could have left the phone on hold and walked in and still not received an answer. When I walked in, there was not a single customer in sight. One of the two guys working greeted us promptly, showed us to the thermometers, where they had the EXACT MODEL I called to ask about... $13 more than Amazon (and $3 over the suggested retail), and they don't price match. His only consolation for the price difference was "I could get it today." Service in store was good, but the guy was very eager to feed me extra information on an item I had come looking for specifically. You know, where he doesn't need to sell it anymore. I didn't have questions other than the pricing. He was helpful recommending wood chips and the differences in the flavors the wood puts in. Due to that and the prompt attention I won't give them one star, but really their handling of the call was miserable. It's going to be a last resort type of place for me... read more

This is where I bought my Big Green Egg 2 years ago and where I go for accessories and Big Green Egg Charcoal. Very happy with my purchase of the "Egg" and would not recommend anything else. I've had a large Viking gas grill that cost a few thousands. Blah....flareups, hard to maintain and just for show. Did my research and the Egg is the way to go. Good service. read more

My original 4 burner Turbo finally bit the dust and was looking to replace it. Since it`s built in, My choices were narrowed down to another one so I would be assured it would fit. Back in October, I spoke with Anthony Diaz on the phone who spent time discussing options and emailed me information. Wasn`t ready to pull the trigger then. Went online a couple of weeks ago and saw that they had a grand opening sale. Was able to upgrade my grill to the version two steps above my old one. I remembered Anthony, called him up, and did the entire deal over the phone. It was professionally installed two days later, and for another $200 they put in an all new gas line and fittings in addition to hauling away my old one. Installers noticed some scratches on the hood, and arranged to have a replacement installed. Very impressed all the way around. read more

Knowledgable salesmen but it's true that they are too eager to close the sale. if you hang back and ask a lot of questions, move around the store and look at several items, they will keep feeing you information. They're nice guys, not car or stereo sales types. The store sells premium brands like Delta and Lynx but the purpose seems to be moving their private label, Turbo brand. I bought the fully loaded 36" 4 burner Turbo with back burner, lights, and rotisserie. Seems to work well in all modes. I assembled it myself, which was easy with all parts fitting correctly and working the 1st time. I'll update this after one year when the real truth will be more evident. read more

Now that I finally got our gas fireplace insert installed by BBQ Galore I can write this review. My adventure started last November ~ weekend after Thanksgiving. I go into their store on Pico Blvd, in West Los Angeles to look at gas fireplace inserts. I speak to the salesman and he describes what i am looking at. Since the price is dramatically reduced, it's a good time to buy. I decided to think about it and I left. I did come back a week later and the sale was still on. This time I talk to a different sales person, but I had the paperwork from the first one. I decided to buy it for a Christmas present to my husband. He simply loves fires in the fireplace, but in LA we have non wood burning days more often than not. So the time is right. I ask the sales person if there is anything that I need to do to my fireplace to get it ready for installation and he says it just needs to be cleaned out. I hire a chiminey sweep to clean the fireplace then I call for installation. I set up installation for 12/23 to make sure it stays a secret until Christmas morning. Well, when the installers come they look inside my fireplace and tell me that I need to have a plumber come out to remove the existing gas pipes. Nobody told me this at BBQ Galore! I immediately called the store and spoke to the salesperson who sold me the inset. He told me that the old gas pipes and burner must be removed. I asked if there was anythong else I should do to prepare. He assured me once this was completed, the installers will be able to install. With this in mind, I knew the Christmas present wasn't going to happen. I called the plumber, he removed all the burners and pipes except for the one leading into the fireplace. I called for installation. BBQ Galore then tells me that I need to replace my turn valve and have a key turn on instead or the installers will not install. I then proceed down to BBQ Galore to speak to the Manager. I tell him all that I have gone through and he tell me that there is nothing he can do. I express my displeasure over his associates not being informed enough to let the customer know what is needed. They did not do their due diligence!! I called another plumber to come out and put a key valve on the outside of our fireplace then call for installation one more time. They came out and when I described what i went through and explained that I needed to have a key put on the outside before it would be installed, he told me that since my shut off valve was plastic it had to be replaced. I looked at him and told him that it was not plastic, it was metal. he told me that in fact it didn't need t be replaced at all. Bottom line, I will NEVER go back to BBQ Galore and infact I am writing a letter to the CEO of BBQ Galore expressing my anger. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

This place sucks. They try to up sell you on their generic brand of BBQ Captain Cook. When I informed the sales rep that it got horrible reviews and I am looking for a Weber grill he immediately got turned off and told me they didn't have the specific grill I was looking for in stock and would have to special order it and it would take a while to get. I left and got the grill elsewhere. Glad I did. A friend of mine got the captain cook grill and he hates it. I love my Weber grill. read more

This was my first grill purchase and I have to say hands down an amazing experience. I went shopping at the big box stores and there is zero reason to go there. Their service and selection was top notch. Vince was amazing. He was not too pushy or pushing his brand but showed me all the options for my budget and walked me through it. He even walked me through the assemble process and personally loaded the machine in my car. Showed me recommendation of cooking and taking care of the grill. I wasn't spend 10k on a new grill/island and it made no difference to Vince. He took the time to walk me through the process. Even when I got home and I was missing a small part he got one out for me at the sop and had it ready for me when I go there. With everything going online customer service is a dying industry but not here and not with Vince. read more

I walked in to purchase a bbq for my husband's bday. I wanted it to be a surprise so the two workers (Vince and Shi) helped me pick out the best bbq in my price range and gave me advice on what my husband would like. They were correct. It's an amazing grill. They even offer 0% interest on items $699 or more for 12 months (on approved credit) so that's a good deal as well. I could not be happier with the service I received from the Pico location. There was a mistake with the initial barbeque I ordered. This could have been a big problem and I was worried I would be blamed for the mistake. Instead of making excuses and causing a nightmare scenario the manager Adam fixed the problem and offered me a free barbeque assembly. He went above and beyond and I will forever recommend Barbeques Galore to anyone who needs a high quality barbeque. Rarely today does a customer receive this type of service. We bought Barbeques Galore flexible night light that attaches to your grill. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you have the salesperson at the store open the package. You will cut your hands to pieces using whatever knife, hatchet, or buzzsaw you have to try and get it open. Worst packaging for a product we have ever encountered. read more

Walked into the West Los Angeles store by chance, walked out with a barbq, a heater and no cover for the former. They were out they said. Would get one from another store and FedEx it over. No problem we thought. After spending over a $1,000 surely they wouldn't mess up an easy item like a cover. Wrong. Three calls later, and despite repeated promises to FedEx us the item,nothing. Now im driving over to pick it up to end the sgony. My barbq is looking prematurely old as you would sitting out in the sun all day in Los Angeles. just makes you feel so frustrated when all the helpfulness before the sale becomes the "I didn't sell it to you" ,"I dont know anything about this" once the main sale is consummated. I probably won't be buying another BBQ for 5-10 years, and I'll probably have forgotten this annoying experience but at least I can share it with my friends on Yelp now. Horrible. Ordered a bbq and doors. 4 weeks later Bbq arrived but doors did NOT. The following week I called to ask about the doors, they said it would be in the following Thursday.
