Stopped in for lunch while driving to Atlanta. I thought it was a great decision when I left. Lots of options on the menu. I went with the steak fajitas where they warmed it up with peppers and onions on the flattop. The steak was well spiced, the cheese was soft and delicious and the tortillas too. The place was not busy at 1pm which was a little disconcerting but people were coming in. The gentleman who took the order, cooked the food and out money was nice and efficient. read more

Being from South Georgia, My wife and I love Barberitos in Valdosta, GA. So naturally, we were excited to find out that there was one very close to our home when we moved up. Unfortunately, this location has tainted the view about the franchise. A few of things stick out to me about this location: Food: Great as always. Barberitos food has been consistent across each one I have visited over the years. Great value and mostly fresh made ingredients make way for a nice meal. There are times when you can tell the chicken has been reheated from the day before instead of cooked fresh that day. Meh, I get it, stored properly, it should be fine. The value for what you get warrants it. People: In any industry, people are hit or miss. Your most valuable people become the ones you, as an owner or manager, spend the most time with training. There is a lack of this here and it is apparent from an efficiency and a customer service stand point. I get it, most of them are kids who are just trying to get started in the job world. There is still a standard to be represented here and a way to do that is training and repetition. Business can go a long way with consistency and customer service. Operation: This is a main one I would like to address. There was a review prior to mine that stated something along the lines of no ice, no salsa, no clean tables, and over flowing trash cans. To almost the day, this has been six months and I have experienced this issue. One would like to think that when a business owner sees a review, like the one stated earlier, it would be addressed and some measure would be taken to prevent this within reason. No dice here either. This again circles around to training and repetition. This place gets busy during peak hours. Makes sense, the food is good. During this time is when the true nature of the locations operational and customer service training really come to the light. Unprepared employees doing everything they can to move customers along and out the door. This, in a way, makes sense from a business prospective. The more customers you ring up the more money you make, but when this overshadows the quality of food, food prep, customer service, and cleanliness of your business you may only get a percentage of the repeat customers you could be gaining by making their experience better by executing the above. Barberitos, to me, still has a hometown feel. Unfortunately, this particular location has faded that mindset and pushed it to the fore front of "it isn't worth the hassle, or the drive." read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants outside of Atlanta. Service is quick and clean. Everything is so sanitized and the staff is so welcoming. I eat at this store fairly often. I usually get the same thing so many of the staff know my order by heart. But whenever I do try something else it is good. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is usually very friendly (they rotate out so the faces may be different depending on the day/shift). The only real criticism I can offer is that the facility could be cleaner. Sometimes the floor is sticky and the place could use dusting and an overall deep clean but it's a great little local type place that provides good food and service. read more

The only thing Barbaritos falls short on vs Moes is their salsa, can't say it is anything to brag about. Everything else makes up for it, would give 3.5 stars if it was possible, but I'll go with 4 because this location is consistently good. read more

This was probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. I ordered online and when I arrived the food had not been prepared. So after I waited, l take my food home and out of 4 entrees not one of them was prepared correctly. Plus in the salad we find a hair from one of the restaurant staff. Called the restaurant to get some resolution and the employee hangs up on me. I then drive back to the restaurant and after much discussion, they finally refund my money. read more

This was my first time eating at a Barberitos. And unfortunately I was very disappointed. Ingredients were alright, not to pleased with the ground beef, it was kinda bland. The chips were overly salty, like we got the bottom of the barrel. Most of the tables in the dining area were not wiped clean and the floor could have used a good sweeping. Took the staff a good couple of minutes to acknowledge us when we walked in (at 7:45p.m.). The bathrooms were not very well kept. Broken trashcan and the flush handle on the toilet seemed like it would fall right off in the next few uses. Seems like this location just needs a little t.l.c from its owner and staff. That's just my opinion. I think Moe's is better and for a much better price. read more

Let me just say..: I LOVE BARBERITOS! The food is so Delicious and healthy at the same time. It is awesome! The food is so yummy. Plus, kids eat free on Wednesdays and Sunday's! The only bad thing is the prices are highly expensive! It is about $6.25 just for a kids taco (Only including tiny drink, cookie and chips). The service is very slow. Once, I waited 25 minutes just for 3 people. They need to hire more crew. Also, when j ordered a burrito they cut it when I specifically told them not to. When they fixed the kids meal, they didn't give me the cookie and once again I had to come back and get it. Overall, this place is amazing! We come here so often! The crew is very friendly, and trust me, you will be very happy with your service! Most tacos are full of yuck processed crap! But these are not. They have a wide variety from flour tortillas to kale tortillas. And yum at the same time. 99% of barberitos is gluten-free! YUM! For all the vegans, they have a large variety of that.
