However, I ended up very disappointed when my daughters food came out. She ordered carnitas tacos, and the taste was awful. The meat tasted rotton, when I tasted a piece I had to spit it out. I haven't been here in years, especially since my mother passed and it was her favorite place, but my son and I went here yesterday and so glad we did! Not sure why I didn't give it five stars before, but this really is a nice place. The restaurant is clean, nice upscale casual with a full bar and great food and service. My son and I got a booth and we're looking to have a good drink with some good food and we got both. We started with a large margarita for me their house special with grand mariner , big drink, and strong!!! my son had a couple of the jalapeño margaritas and he loved them! This is a new place we've been wanting to try out and don't know if we came too early because there's still some work to be done. The service was horrible (we sat at the bar, thinking that we would get quicker service) our bartender/waiter seemed flustered and put in our order wrong. I asked for crispy fish tacos and got the sautéed fish tacos. Our food arrived to us and we had to wait about a good 15 mins before we were able to get her attention to ask for silverware to eat our food. The drinks were actually really good, so I would go here for cocktails and the food wasn't horrible BUT the salsa that came with the chips was extremely delicious the first round and the second time around did not taste the same (you can tell it's fresh and made in the restaurant but they need to perfect it). We had a day date so we took advantage of trying their skillet fajitas. I had never seen them before on their menu. They were excellent and I can't wait to go back and order it again. The service at T&T is always top notch. They greet you fast, seat you almost immediately or as quickly as they can. Usually during high volume times it can be a small wait but they move and hustle to get you seated. They never rush you to hurry and leave. We absolutely love coming here and I absolutely love their roasted salsa. I made one close to theirs but it's slightly different so it's always a joy to get extra to bring home so we have two choices. Our son loves their nachos and chicken. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon at about 1pm. We were seated right away by the hostest. A young lady brought chips by the table about 10 minutes later. 23 minutes after we were seated we still had not even been able to place drink orders. I went to the front and asked to speak to the manager. He came out several minutes later and I told him we had beeb waiting now about 26 minutes for the server to come by and take drink orders. The manager apologized and said he knew we had been waiting and someone would be right out. So we are now 30 minutes since being seated when the gentleman finally arrived to take.drink orders we placed them and got drinks, several minutes after that we asked him if we could please placed our lunch orders, he said just a second and disappeared for another 10 minutes. So now we are like 45 minutes since we were seated. We placed our order, the manager came by and said he would take the cheese dip off the check for the wait. The food came out, it was ok, not the best. We ate and finished and asked for to-go containers. We kept sitting there waiting on the check and he never came with it. We had to flag him down and ask for our check, he brought it back and the chese dip was still on it our total was $103.45, and I told him the cheese dip was supposed to be taken off, but my wife in her irritation handed him $105. He comes back to the table and hands us back the money for the cheese dip but the rest of the money is missing. We asked him where the money was and he said "oh you wanted that back" we were like of course that money was not tip it was to cover the original cost of the bill he comes back and and hands me a $5 bill, at that point everyone in the party was frustrated and we left with him still keeping some of the money not left for him a tip. I would not reccomend eating at this restaurant at all. The food is expensive and mediocre at best. The wait was not worth the cost, the food or the frustration!! Stay away at any cost. read more

I finally found my favorite place to have margs and tacos! What stopped me from coming in the past was the signage outside. Came tonight, St Patrick's Day. Been a while & they changed their menu again. Had maybe a 15 min wait, went to the bar. My GOSH the service is rediculous at the bar!! Chips & salsa came quick, as did menus. The tender left & was gone for over 5 mins. Rediculous!! On to the table service, was actually very nice. Our server was attentive, friendly & provided what we needed with a smile. Love that! I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with a side of rice, beans, lettuce, guac & sour cream.. really fresh- see pics. I didn't eat the flour tortillas that came with it, but brought plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I am SO FULL!! Music was a dj & just like last time we came it was WAY TOOOO LOUD!! I have been to this location twice. Both times for a birthday party. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Both times we had to ask to have the music turned down. This was my first time dining here and I was very disappointed. The Poblano came in such a small portion and it was rock solid for $25?? The mango salmon was okay. When I called the manager over he didn't really say much or didn't seem to care, he just gave me a bad look once I said we didn't want it anymore. The service wasn't bad but although they took the food off the bill the 20% tip still counted as if we still had the Poblano on the tab. 20% of $40 is not $13.00? I won't be returning to this location. My daughter recommended it after having a good experience another location, but this one was a letdown from the start. We stood at the entrance for nearly 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us--even though the place was nearly empty and it was 1:00 PM on a Saturday. Our server was pleasant and the margaritas were good, but the food and service overall were a miss. I ordered the steak tacos carbon, medium-rare. The meat was cooked as requested, but it was so tough I couldn't even bite through it. I tried a second taco--same issue--and gave up. The refried beans were bland and flavorless. I ended up eating chips and salsa for lunch. My daughter said her meal was not as good as what she had at the other location but at least she was able to eat it. After the food came out, our server never checked back in until it was time to drop off the check. She didn't ask how the food was or acknowledge that I barely touched my plate. I been seeing this resto for a long time. Today after getting my hair done, I decided to stop in. And boooyyy am I glad I did. I really wanted to try a Margarita but I decided on just water. Geesshh! Our server was great, he checked in on us many times. I ordered the chicken nachos, they were not good. The flavor was bland and the only good thing about it was the chips. We ordered the queso which was amazing , and the salsa was as well! Which as a starter made it seem like our meals would be just as good. My freind ordered the fish tacos. Unfortunately the smell of the fish was so potent but the flavor was lacking. We were sick for 2 days after eating here and never have had a bad experience like this after eating. not a bad spot for some decent mexican or tex mex. we came in with a very large party and they were super accommodating! i liked how the waiter took his time with each order to make sure everything was perfect for us. we got a bunch of different dishes including chicken fajitas, queso, acp, fajita bowl, and veggie bowl. we would not recommend the chicken fajitas because they were dry, the queso was pretty good especially with the addition of the jalepenos. the veggie bowl was okay as it was lacking flavor. IF YOU READ NOTHING FROM THSI REVIEW READ THIS. we ordered a pitcher of margs, a single skinny marg, and another marg. the pitcher was great but the other two were about 85% tequila. they were extremely strong(and that's coming from someone who goes to a SEC school). take that as you will. The place is descent. It's pretty spacious with nice decor, even in the bathroom is nice. The hostess were not very welcoming and though the space was not full, they told us it was a 30 minute way. I assumed they were short staffed but my friend asked it the we could sit at the bar and that way we didn't have to wait. Bar staff seemed overwhelmed at first but ended up being pretty nice. The drinks were actually good, I liked their coconut margaritas and my friend the Hennessy one. The food is pretty standard Tex-Mex food but not bad. You won't find authentic Mexican food here, but this place gets the job done. My rating for the quality of the food is 3 stars, but my entire experience is definitely 4 stars. We ordered the empanadas to start with. The mushroom and cheese was the best one. The dipping sauces that came with it was a nice touch. My boyfriend ordered the tacos and he wasn't crazy about it. I ordered the pescado, it was shrimp and tilapia, which tasted pretty cooked except for the rice that came with it. Asked for a Paloma to drink, was told they don't offer that (even though it's on the menu, and I was then told they don't have grapefruit juice) so ordered a Texas Margarita instead. It was warm and complete mix, could not taste any liquor, and when I asked server to remake or at least add more ice so it wasn't like drinking warm sour mix, he said "it was fine". Shrimp tacos were cold, had to walk around myself to another table to find hot sauce and pepper and napkins. Left with a $35 bill when I didn't even finish a quarter of the meal or drink. Empanadas tried are all 3 types: Chicken ground beef and cheese with mushroom. Good filling portion. Nice crispy flaky dough. The fajita had great quality cooked chicken and steak.
