I walked in to this place (located in a high-end neighborhood shopping center) and was immediately reminded of my favorite hangout in Spokane, when I went to Gonzaga University. The ingredients are all fresh, and they also have some specialty ingredients, which I have seen nowhere else. The selection of meats (they just call it protein) is impressive, and they also can do custom orders, as well as will cook you your own "protein" with whatever seasonings or things mixed in. The clientele is gorgeous, the food is excellent, their beer selection is good(especially for being such a small restaurant), and the atmosphere is casual and light. Standard American-Mexican style order-at-counter sit down restaurant in the spirit of Chipotle, QDoba, etc. I haven't strayed away from the "skinny" grilled chicken burrito which comes with chicken, beans (black or refried, I believe), rice, salsa, cheese and various vegetables. Chicken chunks are grilled well and black beans average. In the 2 times I've been, the rice however was a tad undercooked. I commend them for offering everything (except guacamole and sour cream) like fresh chopped onions, green peppers, cilantro, mushrooms, pickled jalapenos, fresh jalapenos, & olives complimentary to your order. The guac and crema are extra (for $1-1.50 [?]) which is fine as I'm not a fan of either in my burro. Decent crisp warm tortilla chips are complimentary along with a few seemingly-fresh made salsas. The salsa tomatillo/salsa verde is solid - perfectly seasoned, onions, loads of cilantro, and good sized chunks of tomatillo. Food is assembled right before your eyes and wait time depends completely on number of people in line. This locale mostly serves the office warriors of North Elm and surrounding area so outside of noon thirty to 1:30 wait time is minimal (5-10 mins.). Additionally, ALL domestic beers are $1.50 all the time which just put it over the 3-star hump for me. Selection is, however, limited to the American "Big 3", Coors Blue Moon Belgian White, and Yuengling. A good place that'll do when I'm craving something quasi-Mexican. Really delicious buritto/tex mex restaurant. Casual dining with really great ingredients. I heard its locally owned and a sign said they get local ingredients- love that. Ate half my bowl for lunch and just finished the other half for dinner. It was quite good. The queso was reallly really good, and the chips were fantastic. Other similar restaurants have chips that are stale, or too salty, but these were perfect! The staff was very friendly and service was quick. I will definitely be back! read more

YUM! YUM! YUM! YUM! This Mexican eatery is similar to Chipotle (burrito, bowl, etc). The staff is very friendly and fun. I got the quesadilla with spicy chicken. Sooooo good! They have twice as many toppings as Chipotle behind the counter including 2 kinds of jalapeños and cilantro. Get the cheese dip - it's amazing! But if you don't the Pico and salsa bar are plenty for your chips. Will definitely be back. read more

Great food for the price! The prices for a side of Guam/sour cream are not terrible, but a little disappointed they charge for sour cream unlike some of their competitors. I always get a monster burrito every time I go here. I used to be a c hipotle addict before first going here. Everything is just so fresh and delicious. The steak and spicy chicken are my favorites but then you can top it with an extraordinary amount of items from Salas to lettuce to olives to corn to cilantro. The chips are also the best tortilla chips ive had in greensboro. The burrito makers look like they want to be there and are exceptional wrappers. read more

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Greensboro. I always get a burrito with a spinach tortilla, rice, both kinds of beans, the incredible house-marinated tofu, and fresh veggies. The cheese dip is better than in a Mexican restaurant. The wait staff is fun and fast and you can tell they like where they work. The chain burrito joints have nothing on this place. read more

I come from Athens, Georgia where Barb's got its start. I live in Virginia now so any chance I find one, I go. This weekend I went to both the Athens location and the Greensboro, NC location. I was so incredibly and pleasantly surprised that the Greensboro location was so good, way better than even the one in Athens. It was probably the best Barberitos experience I've ever had; my boyfriend agreed. My mini chicken burrito had perfectly seasoned chicken, not too many beans, and that fantastic chipotle ranch. All of the veggies were super fresh and delicious. And the chips were paper thin, salted to perfection, and not greasy at all. Plus, the employees were incredibly friendly and gave us extra chips since we live so far away. We will definitely be making it back to this location on our next road trip. read more

Best burrito shop around! Every time I try a different one ( chipotle, moe's, qdoba) I compare it to Barberitoes and so far, nothing touches it. My favorite thing about Barberitoes is all the options. You can choose from 4 different tortillas to start with. Love the option of getting chicken or spicy chicken along with the other meat options. Then there are so many choices for toppings - some that stand out for me are guacamole and/or chunks of avocado, cilantro, fresh jalapeños and/or pickled jalapenos and so many more options. You don't have to choose a type of salsa because they have a salsa bar in which you can choose from several different types of salsa and as much as you want! There chips are amazing! So thin and crispy with the right amount of salt. I have yet to go to a burrito place that is better. So, so good. read more

Their chips and salsa are free and taste one hundred times better than Chipotle's where they are always stale!!! Ordered food to go for Valentine's Day. Staff was very rude and short when questions were asked (this was our first time here). Cashier was rushing us. Got home and noticed in bag there was absolutely no salsa included. Chips were bland anyway but it could've definitely used some salsa. This restaurant needs to serve fresh lettuce. I have visited twice in the past few months and both visits they had disgusting brown shredded lettuce. I pointed it out and was told to get romaine lettuce. I should not have had to point it out and they should serve fresh, in date sides like lettuce. read more
