Huge portion sizes, great attention to detail. I had a bacon cheeseburger with all the fixens, including thousand island dressing and nice salty French fries just the way I like 'em'!! A great experience! Reasonably priced too. Give Patti's a try when you're in Gold Hill but remember they are only open 8am-2pm most days. One of the best burgers I've had. It was a simple and classic burger with nothing fancy, but the meat was quality and well cooked, bun substantial enough to handle the double patties but still soft, lettuce shredded for ease and was crispy. Their cinnamon roll is also OUT OF THIS WORLD. Food could have come out earlier but once I took a bite of the burger I did not care and would gladly wait for it again. read more

It has been a few years since I visited Patti's Kitchen and it hasn't changed much except the menu is around 50% Mexican-style entrees. Most of the servings are more than i needed, so I ordered a reuben sandwich with soup and coffee. The coffee came in a huge mug from an artisan potter and the staff were happy to keep it filled. The soup was chicken rice with veggies and good but a little too salty for my taste. The sandwich, with pickle slices on the side was good. It is not a big restaurant but at noon was nearly full and noisy, fulll of friends and family. The place is showing it age but in a homey sort of way. read more

My friend had eaten here before & wanted to stop for lunch. She ordered a breakfast. Large, crispy bacon, hash browns that were cooked properly, eggs & toast. Waitress was really nice, attentive, helpful, answered our questions & accommodated our requests. I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger with onion rings & thought it was pretty good. Really liked the atmosphere and the service was great. I love chicken fried steak so i tried theirs. It barely had any seasoning and the gravy was lumpy and bland. The home fries were overcooked. The people I was with enjoyed their chili and sandwich. Still going to give it another shot and order something different. read more

We made a pick up at the airport and stopped by this little place on the way back to Roseburg. The waitress was a younger gal, born in July and was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She gave up a tip * the larger ckn fried steak is homemade, the smaller size is pre-made so I ordered the large one and had leftovers. They were all out of the homemade wheat bread so she gave me a slice of bread with a cinnamon swirl. My daughter got the biscuits and gravy and she had leftovers as well. My son got a Breakfast burrito (huge) and a side of ham. He really liked his burrito (salsa or gravy choice for on top of the burrito). Lastly, my fiancé ordered a dbl cheeseburger with bacon and salad. He said his was really good. Pattie's has good food, great service and a good selection. We will be back. read more

We went for lunch on Saturday and it did not disappoint! My husband had a smoked pork verde quesadilla and it was delicious l. I had a BLT with yummy fries. The service was friendly and prompt. Not a fancy place by any means but the food was definitely worth it. We will be back for sure read more

Patti's is a mom and pop diner feel. Probably we were the only ones whom never been there, the whole Place felt like they all knew each other . Food was good and fulfilling . We orders the French toast with bLAck berries & biscuits and gravy. My partner enjoyed this very much. What a great old fashioned dining experience! It felt like a trip back in time if I were to be at an old school diner! The restaurant was extremely clean and provided a laid back vibe. The menu had a variety of simple American breakfast stables and options to choose from. The restaurant was super busy when we arrived, but the hostess and waitress were extremely patient and friendly. The restaurant is easy to drive past in downtown Gold Hill, but it's clear Patti's is a local favorite. I enjoyed some sourdough pancakes and bacon. The pancakes had just the right balance of sourdough and didn't overpower the meal. I hope to make a trip back to Patti's soon! read more

Some cases that is not unreasonable but when I watch them seat and serve 4 different parties of 2 and we are still waiting I take issue with that. Our bill was $155.00 but they seated and served 8 meals ordered after ours. Not okay. Won't go back! read more

Great customer service, affordable prices, and you get to enjoy a large portion homestyle cooked meal. We were on a road trip and I always enjoy stopping at small diners such as this one. The cinnamon roll was tasty, and huge. We had leftovers. My sons chicken strips were okay (comparable to frozen ones we buy at Costco), my breakfast was tasty but too heavy for me (hashbrowns with meats and eggs on the side). The chicken fried steak was the winner with the perfect amount of seasoning. We were all content with plenty of leftovers. Definitely worth a stop if your are driving through town and hungry. read more

Patti's Kitchen was such a great little diner to eat at. My kids love breakfast for lunch and dinner. They got a meal off the mini breakfast menu which had a mini pancake, 2 bacon, and 1 egg. The mini pancake was huge! The bacon and scrambled eggs were done perfectly. The staff was so nice. We really enjoyed this restaurant. My kids liked it so much they told me to do a review for them. Definitely recommend stopping here. Oh! And prices were awesome. Great price for the amount of food you get. read more

To say we're fans of Patti's Kitchen would be putting it mildly. We absolutely love everything we've ever ordered, and now with restrictions eased we try to have breakfast here at least twice a month. My husband says there is no better chicken fried steak anywhere in Southern Oregon. The large version is hand-formed, fresh, not frozen. I always get some version of French toast - lemon or cinnamon or recently peach. And, a side of well done bacon The chef actually does the bacon to my liking, unlike any other breakfast spot. OK so I wasn't gonna take the time to make a review because there were so many reviews already posted about this establishment but being from out of town and coming for breakfast and lunch decided to post a review. And I waited almost an hour for breakfast to be served and I understand for various circumstances that might be acceptable so I was not going to post a review. I start coming back for lunch and deciding to place a to go order hoping that it might speed things up a bit I came in early before my food was ready to take care of the payment aspect so I could get my food and eat it as fast as possible but I was told that that was simply not an option and I needed to wait until the food was done before I could Pay. Oh that's kind of ridiculous to expect for your customers food to get cold while they sit there on my time handling payments. That should be easily taken care of I had a time as you had 20 minutes while the foods cooking to collect payment. Not busy at the time and restaurant less than half full. The place is LOUD. Which after a while can be overwhelming, but I enjoyed the sense of community. You get a feeling everyone knows everyone. The waitress was very kind and accommodating. I ordered the cornedbeef hash. It's my go to when trying a new place. It took a while to get my food, but the sign on the door warned me about that, so it didn't stress me out.
