I have no idea what's going on with this place but hopefully someone sees this and realizes how bad of a decline this place is in. I used to LOVE the breakfast burritos. I stopped ordering it when the size was cut in half and they charged the same. Ok, fine. I'll try the eggs Benedict. Loved it, no complaints. Here's the caveat, no more 24/7 breakfast and NO breakfast on weekends. Ok, fine. I'll have the fried chicken sandwich. Nope they don't serve it anymore. Ok fine I'll have the grilled chicken sandwich. First time was awesome, second time the chicken was gross. Like tough pieces of 'grilled' chicken you can microwave. Let me add on top that the bar is a freaking mess. I'm pretty sure it's the owners friends filling in and they seriously don't give a f*ck. Anyway, to whoever is running this mess. Hubby & I ride past here often & have been wanting to stop in & give it a try. Disappointed to say the least. I ordered the mini breakfast, asked for hash browns WELL DONE. They were not even brown. Ordered sourdough TOAST with my breakfast & it was not brown or cooked either. So, my mini breakfast basically consisted of eggs & sausage as the rest was not particularly appealing. My husband ordered a ribeye steak breakfast with home fries. His food was at least mostly cooked & edible. I tried a couple bites of his steak & it was tender & flavorful. It was not crowded during our time there, but we only saw our server when she brought the menus, took our order & brought our food. No drink refills or checking to make sure we were ok or if we wanted anything else. Not exactly the best service we have ever received. I see quite a few decent reviews for this place, so, perhaps it was just an off day? The prices were reasonable, but, beyond that, nothing about the food or experience makes me want to give it another try. read more

So I'm a ranch connoisseur and their ranch is the best I've ever had! It's delicious. I got the San Fran sandwich which is roast beef, cheddar, and tomato with tater tots. The sandwich was pretty good. My friend got the elk sandwich and he really liked it. Good prices. I'd seriously come again just for the ranch! read more

The perfect diner breakfast. Fast and pleasant service and very reasonable prices. I judge the quality of a place by how fresh the potatoes are and how clean the bathrooms are. I cannot say any thing about this place other than it met my every expectation. Real rye bread, lightly cooked omelet and engaged wait staff says the proprietors have somehow translated their own quality standards to the cook and wait staff. Hungry on the road, popped in with low expectations to just grab some food at a diner. Instantly greeted with smiles and hospitality by several employees. Ordered regular faire and we were all pleasantly satisfied with our meals. Biscuits and gravy, Triple Tree sandwich special, French dip and roast beef sandwich. Okay, I had a good meal here last year, but every time since has been a disappointment. We went in once and my husband wanted a breakfast meal for dinner. Oh, they stopped serving breakfast earlier in the day and oops, just haven't bothered to change the menu, so no, you can't order breakfast now. Another time we saw the special on the sign outside and went in to order that. Sorry, not serving that tonight. We went in on another Friday, my husband wanted the beer battered fish and chips. I had ordered something else and the meal was not bad (not great, but okay). My husband didn't say anything until we got home, but his fish wasn't fully cooked: the fish was cold and the batter gooey, not crispy. I sent a Facebook message to the owner rather than post a bad review. I got a sincere thanks, but no offer to make good on the undercooked meal. Tonight I decided to get two orders of the fish and chips to go. When I arrived there was only one order ready. I was told that it was noisy and she misheard me. Okay, I get that and was told that the second order would be up "in a couple of minutes." Twenty five minutes later the second order was ready. Yay, one hot order, one cold order! Had I known that "a couple of minutes" was that long, I would have insisted on having them cook TWO fresh orders They know that Friday's are busy, why only one waitress? She couldn't keep up with that many tables and people were waiting to pay, waiting to order and waiting for their meals. I guess people keep coming back because it's close and there's a bar, but I'm totally done with this place! read more

Breakfast was delicious with great service as well as the food and it was fresh being hot off the grill. Dinner was good. Service was a little on the slow side with a slightly crowded dining room and one waitress working, but it all worked out. The waitress was friendly for both times we were here. Had the breakfast it was good. I would probably order hash browns next time since the home fries obviously came from a bag and they are deep fried. Service was good not great but good. Flies were everywhere with fly swatters in windows, not sure why so many flys even people coming in and out wouldn't cause that many flys. But place seemed clean other than that. This is an awesome little local bar and restaurant. The owner is great and treats you like family, even if you root against his football teams! The food is great as well, and they serve food all day. They have pool tables and a great covered outdoor area. They also have live music I think most Saturdays. Check it out if you ever find yourself out in Sam's Valley! read more

Chicken fried steak went from frozen into the deep fryer and tasted horribly stale (asked after tasting it), the country sausage gravy had no sausage (my husband even asked before ordering it), the carrots were overcooked and tasteless (even with salt and pepper), the french dip was bland and the au jus was watery. The food was barely warm. I guess the microwave doesn't work that well. We didn't eat the food and were made to pay for it. The bartender said the food was perfectly fine and that there was no reason not to pay even though she wouldn't try it. Went on how good it is but hasn't tried it herself. The customer service is less than satisfying especially when they want to argue with you about their nasty food and basically call you liars. Will be taking this matter up with management. We would have no problem with paying if we would have eaten at least have of what was given, but that wasn't going to happen. The beer was flat so I had only one of those. The glasses were cold and that is about all the nice things I have to say. The review by Kevin (who is supposedly the disgruntled cook) was telling the truth. read more
