Hadn't been here in over 6 years and was glad to find that the food quality remained! Had the berenjenas and patatas bravas first and then forgot to take pictures of the rest which included croquetas de setas and queso machengo, pimientos de piquillo, tortilla de patatas and finally an Arroz Negro. All of this for 4 people and it was more than enough! The tortilla de patatas in my opinion is a bit small for its price fyi. Not featured in the drink menu is their sangria which is full with flavor and comes in a big glass. We sat outside to enjoy the Miami "winter weather" which we know doesn't last for long. It was packed outside so make sure to make a reservation!

Omg amazing- the food here was OUTSTANDING- particularly the artichokes and grilled octopus. This indoor outdoor spot is close to the water in an elevated part of Miami Beach, making it a great spot for a date. The waiters are extremely attentive and both food and drink come quickly. Although this place is big it is popular so I do recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

    - Make a reservation - Got the croquetas (don't get it, less than average), steak tartare (the dressing overwhelms the steak), and the arroz negro (pretty good) - It was really loud indoors. If the weather is good, I recommend sitting outside - Food came quickly - Service was ok, they were so busy we had to look for them every time we needed something

We drove by,and decided to go in. We got a nice table for three near the open kitchen. We were in the mood for light fare and what better place than Tapas. Brussels Sprouts,Kale & Beet Salad, Tabla de Jamón y Queso, Berenjenas con Miel. Pudín de Chocolate con Helado de Avellanas y Cañas, Agua Gaseada Refresco. Everything was delicious. My favorite dishes were the Brussels Sprouts and the Salad. El Manchego & Ibérico do not need explanation. The Berenjena had a very smoked taste, not as sweet as I expected Service was attentive and prompt. Love the Ambiance. We need to go back to explore more the menu.

There are so many delicious options at this place! It is probably best to go in a big group so you can order many of the tapas and share. My favorites from what we ordered was the gambas al ajillo and the patatas bravas. I also liked the Arroz de Campo. I thought the shishito Pepper's and boquerones were good but I would not order them again because I would like to try other dishes like the Brussels Sprouts and eggplant. Too many tempting options. The waiter was attentive and recommended the Maracuyá Martino which was perfectly balanced between sweet, sour and a little spicy because it is topped with red pepper flakes. The Los Olivos Martino was also delicious. The restaurant has a great vibe, definitely a spot I would come back to.

We had a wonderful date night at Barceloneta! I'm surprised by the average reviews because the night we went here, the food felt authentic to the many times we traveled to Mallorca and Barcelona. We have loved the Italian restaurant next door for years, and so happy we finally stopped here to try it out. We will DEFINITELY be back soon.

I was surprised to see this place had only 3 stars on Yelp, but ventured there anyway because it was recommended by a friend. This place was great! The prices are reasonable and the food is hot and fresh. We originally had a reservation for 7, but moved it to 6 when we realized there was happy hour from 5-7. Happy hour included $5 aperitifs, $10 cocktails and wines, and snack/food options for a reduced price. We ordered the arroz de campo and the tempura green beans which were on happy hour. The rice was great and had complex flavors. The green beans were also perfectly hot and crispy. It came with an aoli on the side which was a little bland and heavy to add to a fried food, but still nice to have a dipping sauce. We also ordered the grilled octopus which was not on the happy hour menu but was a reasonable price with a generous portion. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. My partner ordered the margarita which was great. I ordered the happy hour passion fruit martini which I asked if it would be sweet, and was told no. When it arrived, it was too sweet for my taste at the bottom so I only drank half. I ordered a glass of wine after which was great for a house wine. Would definitely return for happy hour and possibly for a group dinner for shareable items.

Amazing mushroom croquettes!! We came for dinner and I was a little worried after scanning reviews. Service was excellent! We got to the restaurant early and it wasn't packed on a Sunday night so we were seated early. We ordered the croquettes, patatas bravas, lamb, and the chocolate bread pudding. The croquettes were so good and I would come back just for those! The potatoes were kinda soggy, not crispy on the outside so I wouldn't recommend them. I'm spoiled from perfect potatoes every time in Boston so I sort of expected that these wouldn't be as good. The lamb was good but a little over cooked for my taste (also $34 for 4 chops). The bread pudding was delicious. We got it to share and it was the perfect little treat to end the night. Price wise it's a little more expensive for what you get (compared to Boston where I'm from). The food was good but not amazing. I'd come back for the croquettes, dessert, and the white sangria. I think total with drinks was around $135 and I didn't notice if there was automatic gratuity or not. Good date spot but not fancy enough for a special occasion.

As much as I enjoyed my trip to Spain, man, I just can't wait until 10 pm to eat. That's where Barceloneta comes in! At just 5:00, I was already eating my favorite Spanish foods. They have your traditional favorites like shishitos and bravas potatoes. But then they have magical dishes like wahoo crudo, which was one of the most divine things I've ever eaten and the most beautiful. They have different specials every day on either drinks or food. I went on Wednesday, which was their cachopo night. This is like a Spanish Milanese with ham, egg, and mushrooms. It was delicious.

    Shishito pepper and yummy bread
    Chloe Y.

Some things I've eaten there tasted sooo good but some didn't. Shishito peppers are def a must if you don't mind too much oil in your food. And the bread they bring is phenomenal. However, the paella was the worse paella I ever had in my life. Didn't have any flavor. Service wasn't good because they don't really speak or understand English. It's a cute spot tho but I'm def not going back.

    Steak tartare
    Anton P.

Decent tapas place, service is really quick, food is delicious and good cocktails selection. Steak tartare is a must order. Now the atmosphere is really good for a big group indoors, but if you're looking for an ambient date spot this might not be your thing because it's incredibly loud inside, and outside you just get a road and cars driving all the time. Also their tables are kinda close to each other so you end up bumping backs with strangers sometimes.

I looked over at the rest of my party and told them that we had to eat there. We made our way to the host and ask for seating inside... well, I was wearing a ball cap, so I wasn't allowed to dine inside, but the roadside seating was offered... hey, I understand rules of apparel, but when you are appealing to "World Cup" fans... you could do worse than someone wearing just a ball cap. I understand that rules are rules, so I was satisfied with where we were seated at... besides, I was excited with the great smells that were emanating from inside of the restaurant. As I began to look at the menu, I will admit that I was a little shocked with the prices of the cuisine, but I got to thinking that this could be a high end joint, I was ok with it. I was financially prepared. A female server came over to our table and asked to take our drink order. I guess I must have offended her when she offered to serve us Aqua Panna water in the liter bottle for $12.00 a bottle, and my response was that my country raising refused to let me pay $12.00 a bottle for water, especially when you can order a case of it off of Amazon for $36.00 for a case of twelve bottles. I decided that I would settle for a good old southern staple of "sweet tea" to drink, which was seconded by another person in my group, while the third person decided to have a Sprite. Our server left us to go and fill our drink order and finally made her way back to us after about 15 minutes of being gone to advise us, that the "bar" informed her that they no longer had any sweet tea for the night. The time was 9:30pm and they were open for business till 12:00am, so I was a bit set back by this, but I wanted a steak. I ended up ordering a plain old tap water to drink because, well, I was not going to pay $12 for a bottle of water... I was not dying of thirst yet. So we ended up getting a lemonade brought to the table, a glass of water, and an eight ounce glass bottle of Sprite, at $5.00 a bottle. We got our drinks, so now let's talk about our food. I ordered a 14 ounce New York Strip steak, medium well... I'm getting older and don't digest uncooked food so well anymore, sadly. The rest of my party ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and the third finished off with the chicken parm plate. Our sides that we ordered were roasted brussel sprouts, and a loaded baked potato without chives. Now comes the good part... if you are still here, you are going to find out if they can cook a good steak or not... Well, we got our food after another lengthy wait. Now let me tell you, the guy who brought our food gave me one of the most beautiful cuts of steak that I think I have ever seen. It was definitely a New York Strip. I could already tell from the juices running in my plate that my steak was definitely undercooked. I looked over at my party's food and see the chicken parm, and I'm telling it looked and smelled great. The filet mignon smelled great but it appeared to be over cooked. From what I could tell, it looked like the cook got the order backwards. We cut into the respective steaks and my suspicion was right, the Filet Mignon was over cooked and the New York Strip was way undercooked. At this time, it is getting late. It is after 10pm and I had just finished a six hundred mile drive, I would have eaten my shoe if it was served right. I cut into my steak and began eating it. There was no flavor on the meat at all, I guess they don't use seasoning, other than the grilled garlic clove, that is to be used when eating the steak. I did get to taste the filet mignon, and it had way more flavor thank New York Strip. Sadly, I must have drawn the short straw on this meal. I was hungry and I was refusing to let a $70 steak go to waste, so I ate the entire cut of this steak. To bring this to a close I want to address the billing. They added a service charge to the receipt, which is something I have been used to if there was a large party, but for them to serve three people, I felt we should have been the once's to decide on the amount of the tip we leave our serve. This is to keep the server honest and make sure they take of the customer. The odd thing is I usually tip over 20 percent because I have family who are part of hospitality business. They make their living on tips. This night it didn't total up to what normally give... I was not inclined to give it either. I understand the goal is to make money, but I am a believer in taking care of your customer...Maybe it was the way I was dressed, or how I sounded with my southern draw, I feel like this restaurant really misread me and my group
