3.5 for me. I got here about 11 o'clock on Friday and there was nothing out. They were stocking the coolers and everything else. A gallon of cider was $12 and I asked if they had apple cider donuts. I didn't realize they were already prepackaged. Six apple cider donuts was $11. They were more muffin like to me a little more denser than most places but good flavor. I would've like to come here when the farmstand was actually set up and I could take my time to peruse the items and check prices. It is a beautiful orchard and pretty drive this time of year.

My bf and I went apple picking here over the weekend. It was pleasantly not that crowded and we just had to wait in short line of 2 other people to pay to enter the apple picking area. They had tons of varieties of apples to choose from and all the trees were healthy and overflowing with fruit! It is 12.50 for one adult picking bag which is about 1/2 peck. We also enjoyed their cider donuts and cider. They have some nice picnic tables to relax on outside as well as some cute swings and we even saw a random chicken. Some nice photo opp set ups for selfies or group photos. Staff was nice and friendly and we even encountered a yard sale on the way there. Definitely recommend.

Had such a great experience here! First I want to talk about the employees- they were so friendly and pleasant. I was there with a friend and when we were done apple picking we could not get my car started. A few employees noticed and automatically helped us out- 2 two of them help us try to jumpstart my car (when the first one didn't work with a portable jump starter, another employee came over with his car to try and help, and when that didn't work, spent 10 minutes behind out of my car trying to find the problem). Upon realizing we had to call AAA, we were told by Dave (a volunteer employee) to make ourselves comfortable, and we're offered to go hang out in the building or the porch to stay warmer even though they were supposed to have closed by then. Dave then brought us each a bottle of apple cider for us to have while we waited and also kept us company because he was concerned that it would get dark quickly, and wanted us to feel comfortable. Needless to say, Dave and the other employees were so generous and helpful and it was an amazing experience (that far overshadowed the stress of having a car issue). My whole family is planning to go there in the future because they want to support a place like this. In other news, there was good variety of apples in an organized and spread out way so it really felt like an activity not just a quick apple pick. Also a pretty area with some beautiful trees. Also very cool to have many picking options.

I would highly recommend Barden Orchards. They offer apple, blueberry, and pumpkin picking. they also let you cut sunflowers. The country store was really quant and spacious. the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking can be tricky and lines can be long so I'd recommend going early in the day.

Cute farm in RI. Not the largest selection of apples when we went but we also went end of the season. They do make you pay by bag and not by how much you pick. The property is decent sized and after apple picking they do have a store which has apple cider and cider donuts

Prior to Barden Orchards, I had gone apple picking just once in my life. The location was great but far away from Rhode Island, so when this autumn rolled around, I wanted to explore locally to replicate the experience. I am so glad to have found Barden Orchards. The experience started off on the right foot from the minute we pulled onto their property. A very pleasant man greeted us as we pulled in, explained where to park, asked whether we had been to the farm before, and gave us direction to get our adventure started. There was a decently long line to buy a bag to apple pick but it moved soooo fast due to the efficiency of the staff behind the counter. In the way of small bags, there was a $20 option (no honeycrisp) and a $25 option (all varieties). We purchased a small bag (and 2 cider donuts!) and were on our way! Despite it being Columbus Day weekend (with the Scituate Arts Festival in full swing) we felt like we had the orchard to ourselves. Rows upon rows of McIntosh, Cortland, Macoun, Golden Delicious, Honeycrisp, and so many more! The trees were plentiful (and marked with a small tag to indicate the variety), the sun was shining, and the surrounding forest was starting to turn a pleasant red/orange/yellow. You really can't ask for a better atmosphere to start getting into the fall time feels. The apples, by the way... are delicious!! After gathering our bounty we returned to the barn for a pre-picked pumpkin (they have pick-your-own as well!) and some apple cider. What a fantastic find in the heart of our little state. Can't wait to come back next season not only for apples but for some of their other crops: peaches, nectarines, corn, tomatoes, squash, raspberries, eggplant etc.

The honey crisp apples are so good and so juicy, really recommend this place for good apples

Great farm for apple and pumpkin picking. They were very organized and the staff was all friendly. They have a large selection of apple varieties to choose from and even late in the season there was still plenty to "pick" from. I felt the prices on the apples were fair $20/peck bag, $25 if you want Honeycrisps (I did). The pumpkins were great. A huge variety to pick from both size and color. Got a ton of them and didn't break the bank. You can either go out and pick them yourself in the fields or they have a bunch at the main building.

This is a wonderful place. It is fairly easy to find using google maps. There was someone directing traffic to park. The parking is along a lot next to the orchards. It is not huge but we found a parking spot easy enough. As you enter there is a lot of pumpkins and a general store. They have lots of apple trees of various types. You buy a bag at the small building near the entrance. There is a small and large size. and then you just walk through and pick until your bag is full. It is a fairly large set of orchards with very healthy fruit and tall trees. If you wonder the orchards you may find the pig pen which was very neat. The staff was very friendly and the apples were delicious.

We saw some chickens along the way too!

We set out to pick fresh floral stems and pumpkins. We were greeted with so much more....The sweet playful house pup who immediately brought us an apple for a game (or 25) of catch. He made this whole experience so much sweeter for my girls! We had a blast chasing him around the gorgeous rows of vibrant flowers and filled apple trees. We could've stayed for hours playing with him alone!! We purchased mini apple cider donuts the girls gobbled down in two seconds flat. They LOVED these! $4 for a bag of a dozen, fresh and hot off the press sugary, perfectly snack sized donuts. They also offer grass fed beef, pork and chicken. We met the owner who kindly poured us samples of their delicious fresh, raw cider and showed us the original mill which is housed in their awesome, simplistic barn. (If you're traveling, remember to bring a cooler with ice as the cider is unpasteurized.) She also suggested I purchase a "Long Island Cheese pumpkin" which I had never heard of before! Have you?! She gave me instructions on how to bake it and make what she said will be the best pumpkin pie ever! (I'll keep you posted). She also gave me some local suggestions on things to do (Old Sturbridge Village, Mass) which we did and had a fantastic time! Thank you!! Prices we thought were very fair and it feels so good supporting small, hardworking business owners. This farm is on the smaller size, but it's absolutely full of that unmistakable pure New England charm and quality goods! We would come back here in a heartbeat and had a VERY memorable, awesome first trip! If you're in the area or maybe looking for a weekend escape, this fabulous farm is located in a quaint town that offers so much, yet is so far away from it all. You won't be disappointed making an entire trip out of heading this way.

Easy to find via GPS, there is a small parking area right next to the farm's fields in North Scituate. There's a small stand where you prepay a pint at $6, a fee that is deducted from your final expense when you're done picking. The weekend price is $4.75/lb... cheaper during the week but I can't recall the specifics. Open everyday but Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's a loyalty program available once you've picked 10lbs of berries (two of us easily picked 6lbs together on a relatively quick visit so it's doable). The staff were very helpful and explained everything we needed to know to get things started. Three fields were pointed out to us, with the freedom to choose whichever we wanted. It was explained that each blueberry bush was different and to feel free to taste test to find ones we were interested in picking. It didn't take long before we were underway - filling our borrowed buckets with shoulder straps full of berry deliciousness. Beautiful, peaceful farm for an enjoyable late morning out. It was a somewhat overcast day which made for ideal picking conditions. I'd suggest wearing a sun hat and other sun protection if you're here on a clear day. Quick in and out to pay for what we gathered - very pleasant experience overall.
