They are on Main Street in Port Jefferson which makes parking a bit tricky but I had no problem finding a spot that was in walking distance. There was a gentleman who greeted me at the door and I waited only about 3 minutes before I was escorted to the wax room. The owner (I didn't ask her name) was very sweet and passionate about her business and her work. She makes her own sugar wax and sugar scrub for after care. The appointment was quick. Maybe a half hour from parking to being back in my car to go home. Everything was clean and quick and she asked questions to determine how to proceed with the wax and what kind of aftercare I would have. As a first time Brazilian wax customer I would recommend Sugar Sugar. Although I have nothing to compare this experience to, I don't have any reason to go anywhere else.

Where do I begin!!!! I was greeted nicely and barely waited and I didn't have an appointment. I got extremely lucky with the most perfect and funny nail technician I have ever had. Her name is Delilah. Truthfully she needs to be the head nail technician there (even though I haven't had anyone else) she really sealed my experience. I will never go anywhere else going forward nor use anyone else. The main thing amongst others was that she was SO knowledgeable and patient with me about the different services they had and that she made it clear the choice was mine (did not push any expensive options on me like most nail salons do). Thank you so much for having her apart of your staff and for being so close to my job where I could even go on my lunch break or right after work. Oh and her work by the way is so clean and neat as you can tell by the photo. I will be telling and insisting everyone I know go to this salon and use Delilah specifically. Plus as a mom, I really don't have time for "arts and crafts" iykyk! Alyssa made the whole process so smooth, and gave me a lot of information and tips! Here's what I learned: Sugaring is made from just sugar, water + lemon (yes... that's it). It's applied against the hair growth and removed with the growth (opposite of waxing), which helps with less ingrowns. And the best part... it's never hot, so no worrying about burns, just warm or room temp. It only sticks to the hair + dead skin, so it's actually really gentle and lightly exfoliating too. Now let's be real... the first time? A little spicy. BUT it gets easier the more you go, and over time your hair grows back thinner and slower (we love that for us). Honestly... if you're prepping for a trip, vacation, self-care day, or something like a boudoir shoot... I get the hype now !!! It truly wasn't bad at all, and so quick!
