I was browsing and noticed the whole selection of L'Oréal lipsticks organized incorrectly. It bothered me because I was looking for a specific shade and I couldn't find it. In the process of trying to organize I came across a lipstick that had been opened with the cap on incorrectly that was facing backwards, so I picked it up and tried to put on the cap correctly so it wouldn't be dried out and out of no where this woman working there barks "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OPEN THE PRODUCTS" into my ear from behind. I handed it to her and told her it was obviously already open and I was trying to help. She snatched it from me and continued following me through the store, giving me the side eye. It immediately put me off and I put all of my products back and just bought them online. They also never have more than one person working at the counter apparently, so their lines get ridiculously long. Disappointing, gross, an embarrassment to Ulta as a brand.

Luckily for me, Claudette was very kind and patient. She went over the different types of facials that she offers and explained the benefits of each one. My main concern was to even out my skin tone from acne scars and clean out my pores, so we ended up going with the Microdermabrasion facial. I will admit that even after the consultation I was still nervous. I knew that there would be buffing involved and was very scared that it would hurt and my skin would look raw! But boy was I wrong. Claudette was very gentle and took her time, making sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. Within minutes I was completely relaxed and forgot that I was ever worried about anything. She never tries to oversell you. I've been to so many med spas on Long Island; I've wasted a lot of time & money on not getting the expected results. After 2 treatments of hair removal, it was practically gone. I inquired about other services Kim does and I will be going to her for other treatments. She never, ever tried to be pushy or convince me of other treatments I should get. I found my med spa!!!! I would highly recommend!!!!!
