April is amazing! I've been to three other places - and April's technique is almost pain free, clean, and sanitary! //CONTEXT// Prior to April I went to a few places. Studio 1 took over 1.5 hours to give me a Brazilian. Insanely long for what it should have been. Studio 2 was also an experienced waxed of over 10+ years however, kept dripping wax on random spots on accident and was very painful. Studio 3 was a sugaring place and although the same, left me feeling sticky and gross from not cleaning up properly. Enter April, who I decided to try out as she was close to my work. She is very efficient - knows exactly how to put the wax on without missing a spot and having to come back to it so many times. I haven't consistently been waxing in over 2 years since moving to Irvine but with my pregnancy it was getting uncomfortable and harder to take care of down there. It's been a long time since I've gotten waxed and recently decided I'm going to go consistently again. April was super clean, kind and made me feel comfortable. She was on time and ready to go. I got the Brazilian and love the way it looks, no red bumps so far. Love that she gave out samples of some skin care and that she's educated and knowledgeable about how to properly take care of your skin, even down there, for the best results. She used hard wax. While not painless she applies pressure on the more painful parts after she pulls the wax, but that could just be me and my pain tolerance. There also wasn't any strays or broken hairs which I've had after other waxers, nice and smooth looking. Looking forward to using her again. read more

I'm super impressed with April. I've been waxed with the same product she uses and experienced horrible post-wax effects (lifted skin, hives, breakouts, just overall agitated skin) so it must be her technique. My skin feels and looks great and there are zero signs of hair in the areas she waxed. Also, she's SUPER quick. I thought I'd be there for at least an hour and a half but I was in and out in 25 minutes. She's also quick to respond and flexible with scheduling. She worked around my schedule so that was nice.
