I always do my best to try to schedule my appointments with Michelle because she always makes it the best experience. Sugaring is never an easy thing to do, but she has a weirdly gentle touch (well, as gentle as one can be while pulling hair out). She's always so sweet and makes the time go by so quick that I can almost say that I enjoy my appointments because of her. She's very meticulous with her work and I never have to worry about ingrowns or uneven patches after leaving my appointment. I've been coming here for over a year now and though painful at first, as long as you're consistent, it's worth it. Ive been to this location twice and it is clean, staff are incredibly nice and very comfortable to be around when experiencing sugaring! I love the products that they have especially because it is more natural and doesn't have all the nasty chemicals and dyes like your typical wax. I'd recommend the membership to save some $$$! You have to book an appointment online which requires you to create an account, which I did but I was having issues since the email verification wasn't working for me. I emailed their customer service and they helped me finish creating my account so I was able to book a service for later that day. I got a brazilian sugar wax and it's been a while since I've gotten one done so I explained that to them during my visit. They did a wonderful job on my wax and gave me helpful aftercare tips! Stay away from this place. Poor service and customer service. Phones don't work came in couldn't do walk in. They have no menu prices other than membership for Brazilian not even in the walk in pamphlets. Never went to there site as it was a place I found driving in the area. Came in the next day regrettably they took me in offered me a trainee I said no. So they took me in for my service Brazilian and asked if I wanted to do half or full legs. I said half before the appointment and during appointment. I was concerned that the service technician didn't already know that. When it came to pay they charged me for full and never explained that my service was half not full! After I explicitly said before and during the appointment only bottom half. So of course I was shocked my service with some scrub and glove was $234 plus $25 tip.They said oh legs are a larger area excuse me I said half. But they still charged me for full. This place is deceptive and very poor service. A good way to overcharge for services they don't provide never again. They gave me bad ingrown and I'll never recommend I would like management to train your employees better document what is booked before and during service the technicians knew said nothing. Unacceptable. Also list your prices use QR code something. Paying $50 extra because of their poor training and deceptive practice is not acceptable! read more

Sky (sorry if the spelling is not correct) is amazing! I've been coming here for a little over 2 months and when I first got my spray tan it was dark, even and gorgeous! But the last 2 times it wasn't as dark and it felt like they were just blowing air on me and it faded within a few days. I expressed my concerns and Sky immediately knew how to remedy the situation. I left today looking like I did the first time and I'm very happy with the results. She is really knowledgeable, professional especially spraying around the intimate areas, she even made sure under my bust was sprayed which is the attention to detail I was looking for. I know everyone has their favorites but I was almost going to switch locations if it came out the same...she went over the after care and gave me some great tips on how to make the tan last. 10/10 recommend. read more

Be prepared to be scammed... went here today to get a spray tan. Told the girl it was my first time, they had these wipes at the counter (NO PRICE) next to them and I asked if I could have two to wipe off makeup/deodorant. She NEVER mentioned they were $6 EACH. I had baby wipes in my car for free if that was the case. Go on my way with my $12 in wipes.... In the room it list the cost of other items, cool nice transparency. Then here's the other kicker that has me writing this review.... I check out and it says they add 18% gratuity, I told her that's fine and was told I'll receive an email receipt. Well it wasn't fine cause they charged me 31% gratuity, excuse me!!!! I used a first time code that brought it down to $39, so 18% would be $8..... but NO they scammed me and charged me 18% of the original price of $69, making the tip a freaking 31%!!! The spray tan is fine and did the job, but I got hustled. Can't imagine how often they do this! read more

I have been to S&B a few times for tanning and liked the results. I recently had a tanning appointment the day before leaving on vacation and they cancelled a few hours in advance since an employee called out of their shift. I understand that things happen with employees but I do find it odd that they couldn't fit me in the rest of the day with another spray tan artist, considering tanning is one of their main services. They offered me an appt in HB but that's too far of a drive when getting ready to leave the next day. Their response was simply "sorry for the inconvenience"....no discount to come back another time or something to try to make an unfortunate situation a little better for a customer. The final straw is that I called in to kindly discuss my disappointment with a manager and they said they would have the mgr call me but it may take up to 2 days. Wow. Sadly, I never did a call and it's been two weeks. It looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Hi! I definitely love the convenience of booking a last minute sugar in my area! I've been to the Long Beach locations a few times and this was my first time at the Irvine location. My appointment was pushed back by a little, but I was out of there at the time I anticipated so the service was speedy but not rushed! All employees provided me great hospitality, answered all my questions, and overall gave me one of the best experiences I've had in a really long time. The only downside to booking at S+B if you're new to the place, having a go-to person I've found to be hard in my experience with a lack of consistency. However if you have a set sugaring schedule I'm sure it'll be easier for you to find your go-to. The girls are all sweeties!! I got my first wax from Bailey and she's amazing. I wanted a landing strip but she accidentally waxed the whole thing, the second time the girl didn't ask, she was talking to me about other stuff so I didn't even get to tell her and she just started so it was too late. This review is for the tanning however, I opted to getting two credits a month so I can get a tan once in awhile since I always do it myself and sometimes I don't feel like doing it, it's nice to just stop in and get sprayed real quick, HOWEVER both times I've done it 1 or 2 level it only looks good for one day then it just fades! I've been tanning forever now, a lot of DIY, I've got the natural long lasting glow down. I know how to prep before and after and still their tan seems to just fade off of me I'm not too sure why. I just got level two last week for this past weekend and by the night (Saturday) I wanted it for it was all faded... very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. read more

She guided me thru the process beforehand and it was fairly quick. I chose #3 color. When I showered almost at 3 hours later, the color seemed light at first but when I woke up, the color was perfect like I've just come back from Hawaii. There's no orange color or streaks.
