The general manager needs a shoutout! I cannot believe he literally drove himself to deliver my food after grub hub did not dispatch a driver to deliver my food (I ordered through grub hub). This is over the top, excellent customer service! He really didn't have to do this, but extended this gesture and I am grateful! Thank you!!! Decided to try someplace different than the usual local burger options, so Bareburger was the pick. Lively atmosphere, outside and inside, apparently very popular downtown. iPad menus were given and we scrolled thru the offerings. Keep in mind this is Westfield, an affluent burb so pricing will be more for the somewhat deep pocketed "standard" beef burgers, which to be fair are 3 Patty affairs are just shy of $20, wagyu is more, veggie burgers a bit less depending on the options, and there are many choices including gluten free buns, brioche, etc... I did see many interesting appetizers and a nice selection of beers and other beverages, as well. Server was a very nice earnest young lady who forgot our hot sauce request until we were almost done, but they were busy. I had an Americana burger, which was quite good, my wife had a cheesesteak, which she said she wished was hotter temp than served, so likely it sat before being brought to our table. All in all the good quality was very good, can recommend it's definitely worth a try if you're in the area and we might return in the future. Noticed they seem to mostly have NYC locations. I'd imagine the business model was best targeted to upscale towns. My biggest gripe was the $15 coupon on the check that required me to download an app that needed my credit card info and still never provided the QR code necessary to use when we got the check. Exceeded my expectations and it's a great addition to Westfield overall. Nice interior, cant wait until COVID is over and I can sit at the bar with some brews and some local buddies. Our meal was excellent, I went with the Standard burger and it was delicious. Great selection of beers on tap and our server Madison never missed a beat. Mind you, the place was absolutely slammed with take out orders and the manager (who was busy af but handled it well) told us as we walked in it could be 45 minutes for our food to come out. I said buddy, you've got the NFL on many big tv's, just keep the pints of IPA coming and all will be well. I will be back to this casual restaurant quite soon. Vegetarians - get the Guadeloupe burger (it's not spicy) and order a bunch of sauces on the side to figure out which ones you like the best :) I love the Brussel sprouts (truffle style of course) but the onion rings and sweet potato fries are fantastic as well. Excellent food average service. Went on a weekday afternoon and they were not very busy. Nonetheless it took time to get our drinks and we were often looking for our sever to get more. Side dishes (fries and onion rings) must have been prepared much earlier as they were lukewarm when they came with our meal. However, we all ordered the Wagyu burgers and they were outstanding!!!! The first time I tried this place was a take out order. I ordered the Buttermilk Buffalo, fries and onion rings. The chicken sandwich was almost inedible- chicken was rubbery and it had a hard piece toward the middle that just turned me off completely. The fries and onion rings were good though! The 2nd time I came was to dine in at the bar. I give their chicken sandwich another shot and it was very good! I also ordered the truffle fries, but it never made it to me.. not sure what happened but it seemed like they were getting ready to close. I do like the ambiance there, it is very bright, clean, and welcoming. I really like how they have outlets under the bar - including USB ports, which allows you to plug in what you need. Not sure if I would recommend this place for their chicken sandwiches, but I've heard good things about their burgers. read more

I feel totally scammed $9.95 for fried pickle chips and I never saw/tasted the pickle? $9.95 for soggy, cold fries? The impossible burger seemed much smaller than the ones i buy in the supermarket. $2.95 add on charge for lettuce, sliced red onion and mayonnaise? $3.95 for soda? $19.95 for fish and chips that came out of the freezer? We don't pay anywhere near that much at the Jersey shore or at a nice restaurant. If there was an option, i would not have even given it 1 star. They shouldn't be doing delivery. Extremely long wait for two burgers and a shake. They made the delivery driver wait outside for another 15-20 mins. Then both burgers were cold - not the drivers fault because they moved quickly. Onion rings were hard and chewy. Was missing the shake. One burger cooked correctly, the other way over cooked. I claim to have taken a bite of the best burger in the country. It was a 4 day trip to Miami at a place a friend worked and sadly that establisment has since closed. I hope the chef brought that recipe wherever he goes. Onto Bareburger. I had high hopes going in with that name for a burger joint. We've ordered 3 times now. I've had two burgers and a chicken sandwich. My first impression was wow.....amazingly expensive. Each time I tried not to pay for additonal topings and still insanely expensive. The food is really good. They make a solid burger but both times came with two patties. Pet peeve....make a larger patti instead of dos. It locks in more flavor. They offer a ton of options and cool creations. They make an impossible burger that my wife has had twice and loved it both times. The chicken sandwich was good. I'd get it again. Anyway I'm giving it 3 stars because of the pricing and double patti pet peeve of mine. Oh their drinks are limited and do not attempt to drink the diet cola. Horrifying experience. read more

The absolute best burgers I have ever had. The flavors are on point with absolutely everything they make. The onion rings are crispy and the breading doesn't fall off the onion like most other onion rings I've had. It's a trendy, modern beautiful place with organic ingredients which you feel good about even though you're eating a cheeseburger. The staff greets you as soon as you walk through the door and everyone is super friendly. I've been here several times and I'd give this place five stars every single time. read more

The server passed by our table 3 times and did not acknowledge us at all to even say hello and or even I'll be right with you. We waited for 10 minutes then my husband had to go inside and asked if we can get some service. 5 minutes later a younger guy came out to take our order. Food came out around 15 minutes and it was good. However we were not given any condiments and or silverware/napkins. We had to wave a manager down to ask for napkin and silverware's. Poor quality meat; slight tummy issues followed in about an hour. For a restaurant with the word "burger" in its name, quite disappointing. Westfield Diner burgers, to name one, are far superior. To be fair, waitress was friendly and did offer to have new burgers prepared, but mindful of the long wait, we declined. Will not return....too many other good options in town. read more

First time here and it was pleasant. We got the mimosas. I tried the Peach and Strawberry but my fave was the Rosewater one. I got the dill chicky sammich. It was good but I think it needed salt to enhance the flavors. Was kind of bland... something was missing. My son got the blazin bacon burger and almost ate the whole thing. I was surprised because it was spicy. Good spicy though. My husband got the chicky or something sandwhich which had avacado and bacon. He enjoyed it very much. This is honestly the best burger I've ever had. This is not on a level of Five Guys or any fast food. This is the 2nd time I've been and it didn't disappoint. I get the build your own, brioche bun, organic beef, bacon, avocado, bleu cheese and their own special sauce. Such a good combo! The bacon is so good, definitely not Oscar Meyer. The onion rings are very good also. The manager Ben came to check on us and he was very friendly as well as the staff. My only negative is that for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and onion rings, the bill was $51. My bacon and avocado was $3 each. Somehow my build you own came to $20. But well worth it. We are so happy that Bareburger came to Westfield. It's about time! Bieber is one of the best places to come and hang out for either a family dinner with kids, or if you just want to watch the football game and sit at the bar. This is exactly what Westfield needed. On a quick sidenote - Every time we come we ask for a Tristen, and he is hands-down one of the best servers here. If you ask my wife she'll tell you I'm a creature of habit. So every time we come here we start with an appetizer of the brussels sprouts and make sure to ask for a small ramekin of garlic aïoli. Next up I alternate between the buffalo buttermilk chicken sandwich and the blue burger. While my wife goes for a large order of onion rings and boneless chicken tenders. The food here is comfort and American staple like a dishes. And the fact that they use bison in their burgers and everything's organic just makes it taste that much better. My last suggestion if you come here make sure you try some of the wandering bar man drinks, they're pretty strong and they come premade... But it's surprising how good they are! I highly recommend coming to Bareburger in Westfield if you're looking for a new family friendly or hangout spot with other dads! read more

Horrible customer service in Westftield NJ location. Was sitting inside the restaurant and ordered a drink ...waiter brought our drink with a bug in it!!! Advised the waiter and he brought a new drink. When the check came...they charged $28 for a watered down lemonade vodka drink and didn't even take anything off the bill for the bug. I have eaten there before and was. Wry disappointed!!! General Manager (Jamiel Boyle) told me that he did not charge my friend to "Re-make" the drink!!!!!!! Needless to say I was floored! Why did they just call me to say not only were the condiments missing, and yes I payed for extra, they also forgot a whole damn sandwich from the order. 50 cents for a condiment that's missing is one thing, but forgetting a sandwich is infuriating.
