This is the ONLY cleaner I trust with my clothes. They always do an amazing job at both cleaning and tailoring. I recently took a pair of silk trousers to Barg after getting oil all over them during a pedicure. I had little hope they could be saved and was so sad (they are Celine, so not cheap). I'm new to the area and decided to try this place out. They don't do the cleaning on site, which is fine. I dropped my clothes off on a Monday was expecting them to be ready Friday. When I went to pick them up on Friday they told me they weren't there and to try again later. I came back the following Monday, the clothes weren't cleaned and pressed very well and they ripped one of my shirts and told me it's because I lean on my elbows too much!!! Trying to find a good dry cleaner is challenging. The proprietor never seemed to care or mark stains when I would point them out. I finally pulled the plug on this place when they destroyed a $150 shirt. It was a dry clean only shirt. They washed and bled all the colors. It is destroyed. They refused to pay for the shirt and they refused to even remove the cleaning charge. I am off to try and find a good dry cleaner. Don't assume because these guys are expensive that they do good work. Below average at best with far above average prices. read more

These guys really saved me on a rush job a few years ago when another cleaner messed up on my white dinner jacket. I've been with these guys ever since. As a few of you may know that I had a recent score on two sweaters. I dropped them off Monday afternoon and they were ready by Thursday. Total price for cleaning was $19.16! Parking is not a problem here like at other places on the hill since they have one next door! Bonus! I don't do a lot of dry cleaning, but I'm happy that I have a neighborhood cleaner that I trust. I don't know why I haven't written a review about Barg yet - I guess I kept waiting for them to disappoint me (which is what I have come to expect from drycleaners) - but after over a year of going to Barg I have nothing but really nice things to say. Mitchell's shirts are always done with just the right about of starch, my slacks and sweaters always look nice, stains are always gone, and they put my wedding dress in a protective hanging bag. They gave us a discount for a wedding present, and even though Mitchell is usually the one to pick our stuff up, the woman there always recognizes me and yesterday congratulated me on getting married. I really like this place, they do a good job and they're so nice. Parking is crazy easy here, and it's right next door to Eat Local so you can pick up some food for dinner too! read more

Barg is by far the best cleaner option on Queen Anne Hill. They have been our go-to dry cleaner for a few years now. Their work is consistently excellent and they tend to go above and beyond (re-sewing loose buttons etc.). My husband took his suit to Barg to be altered before our wedding and they worked quickly and meticulously to make sure he looked great on our big day. They are currently cleaning and preserving my wedding dress and have gone to great pains to make sure everything is perfect before they box it up. They have shown me the cleaning progress as I have come in to pick up/drop off other clothes and I really appreciate the level of care they are providing for such an important garment. read more

This was my first time using this service, but I did give them a challenge. I took two dresses in, one of which was covered with tiny studs which are a bit of a minefield for cleaners. They managed it nicely. My special occasion dress is clean, gorgeous and still the right shape! Lol. My only complaint was the price. Even considering the studdy dress, the bill was really steep, so much so that I can't say I'll use them again. But for the quality of their work, I definitely think kudos are in order. read more
