Dr. Barham and Dr. Johnston are the best. My former Chiropractor didn't give me any relief. I decided to seek chiropractic care instead of surgery due to being rear ended in November2020. My former Chiropractor was doing the same thing at every visit. He wanted me to go to the VA to get x-Rays, so I did. I brought back the report and the disk which had instructions on how to open it and he couldn't do that. He wanted to cut down my visits and I expressed to him that I wasn't feeling any relief but he didn't hear me so I fired him. I found Dr. Barham on Groupon and read the reviews and was impressed. The doctors at Barham Chiropractic treat you by the way you are feeling and according to the X-Rays. Yes, they take X-Rays in office. I'm about 6 weeks in now and am starting to feeling relief. Last week my hip popped out and Dr. Barham put it back in place. This week, hip cured. I've only had one massage not by choice but due to being hard to schedule. I cannot believe this wonderful practice has only one rating. I was in a car accident in 2004 and a few months later I got a pinched nerve, as I was still out of alignment. I could barely drive my car home when it happened I was in so much pain I needed help walking let alone putting enough pressure on the clutch to switch gears. Dr Barham as well as his associates who I actually ended up seeing more than I actually saw him provided me the care I needed and before you knew it I was walking like it had never happened. I am currently pregnant and need to go back as my sciatica has returned now due to the pressure of pregnancy. I cannot wait to go in on Monday as I know they can cure me, they have before. Last year my husband was in the first stages of degenerative disc disease. He has been going for a year and is now in a completely different place. It was a situation where it got A LOT worse before it got better, but it did get better. The body had to retrain itself and adjust to the adjustments. I definitely had my doubts along the way but in the end he is all the better for sticking it out. I appreciate their professional service, their detailed explanations and their willingness to work with us financially. My husband is still goes in once a month to keep everything in line but yea. It's kinda unbelievable how great he is doing now. I am in the process of getting my back aligned as well after a fall I took about a month ago. Because of this I am experiencing this office first hand and I have to say the downside is really the inconsistency when it comes to how fast you will be seen. Some days I come in and am in and out in 10 minutes, others I come in and wait for 45mins before i'm seen by the Dr. It can be frustrating. I've had chronic back pain for the past ~10 years, mostly stemming from being on my computer for long hours. I've seen a few chiropractors in the past, but the results didn't last or they didn't completely relieve my pain. I was referred by a friend. My exceptional chiropractor had retired & I had been unable to find anyone close. After several years of going to Barham, Covid hit. In the early months of Covid I went in for an appt, and was surprised that there were no Covid precautions- I let it go figuring they just hadn't caught up yet. So , I waited several months, inquired, and made an appt. No masks, no readily available hand sanitizer, but the chairs in the lobby area had been separated. I was referred to the "assembly line" area=3 tables in the same space, about 3-4 ft away from each other. The patient to my left was masked, the one to my right was not, and he was about 6' tall walking around his table- so perhaps 2 ' away from me. Dr J came out, dropped his mask to his chin, treated the tall guy, and then asked me how I was. I told him uncomfortable at the lack of a mask mandate considering this patient was towering over me, sharing space without a mask on. "I don't understand what you expect us to do" To which I replied "As healthcare professionals I expect you to comply with the Public Safety protocols, like the P.O., local minimart, and I do "No mask no service" I also pointed out that I am a cancer survivor, and suggested that, surely, I cannot be the only patient concerned &/or compromised. I wrote a letter to Dr B sharing my concerns and aggravation to which he didn't see fit to respond, even after many years of going there. So if you want to play Covid roulette, this is the place for you. I have since found a chiropractic office that cares about patients overall health and safety... & actually KNOWS when they've successfully made an adjustment or not. I have grown up never trusting chiropractors and would avidly speak against the practice due to family bad stories. One day my girlfriend as a gift got me hooked up with these guys as a gift because every day I suffer from pain. So I gave it a chance. Now I can't see my life with out them. I have been having back problems for such a long time, when I started coming to Dr. Barham in a short time I could feel a difference. I spend most of my days standing on my feet and I used to have to stretch repeatedly to relieve my back and over time I didn't have to do that as much. Dr. Johnson is also very wonderful! I have been to 4 Chiropractors in 3 years. The other chiropractic care was never enough. I was still in pain and still in constant need of correction and I never understood why. One day I woke up and couldn't move my neck. I could barely get out of bed and I was desperate to find a solution for my pain. I called Barham Chiropractic and that same day they got me in. The doctors and staff deserve 10 stars. The most friendliest, understanding, caring, comforting, fun staff I've encountered. I look forward to coming in three days a week. My story: 14 years ago I was in a skiing accident, it left me bed ridden for months, painful and frustrated with the care I was receiving from my primary care provider and constant physical therapy. For 2 years I followed their recommendations and exercises, with no avail. During the Ca state fair I was wandering thru the vendor booths and ran into Dr. Barham. The booth lured me in with the phrase "have back pain?" Why yes, yes I do! Please tell me how you can help me. He gave me a certificate for evaluation, X-rays and my first adjusting along with a detailed plan. It only took a few months in his care to where I could stand straight again, and live pain free. I had so much scarring and soft tissue injury my muscles were pulling my spine out of alignment and causing subluxations and pinched nerves. I missed a lot of days of work prior to his care and spent many of days in bed praying my pain would miraculously dissipate. In the years to follow I've continued to have problems, including numb hands and fingers, pinched nerves, abnormal gait and of course pain. Every time I've endured such pain I don't go to my primary doctor, I go straight to Dr. Barham. It's solely my fault I allow myself to get into these predicaments because I do not follow doctors orders and come in for maintenance adjustments as recommended in my care protocol. This is my third course of care in the past 14 years and every time he's saved my a$$, I mean back. I'm 10 weeks into this course of care and I can honestly tell you my headaches are gone, my sinuses aren't inflamed, I can feel all my fingers, I have no shooting pains down my leg and I can sit down for longer periods without being miserable. I recently had an extremely bad migraine (one which would normally send me to emergency for a shot) and I went to get an additional adjustment instead... didn't work (don't always work on migraines that are well established) so they tried an electrical treatment (TENS???) can't remember cause I was so out of it. It started 15 months ago when I had a pinching pain in my right neck and shoulder area.
