I had no problems with the work done, or at least I though so.. In the spring of 2025, I went for a checkup, and Dr Kalasho was on leave and her replacement told me I developed another 2 cavities... just a few months after the original cavity was fixed. I couldnt believe my ears and I agreed to fix it. However, they had just closed the Hollywood office, and the closest location would have then been in Beverly Hills and I had no interest in visiting not even once. And I didnt have time to look for a new denist in the area. Fast forward to the spring 2026, I went to 2 different reputable denists in the area and they both said I had no cavity in that tooth.. I was in awe. Questions came flashing back.. Why every time did I have to sign the waiver 10x longer and more specific than at other denist's I have gone to? Why I was charged 5k for a crown that another denist said did not have that u-shape that teeth have to block most of the food in between the teeth? Was it as bad as I was made to believe? I don't know. But my suspicious makes sense. The office and the equipmennt that looked better than I have seen in Hollywood movies. Friendly chit-chat WITH LITERALLY EVERYONE in the office. Talking about families, sharing personal stories, laughing together. And then the friendly by the way reminder.. Do you want to prepay? I had a root canal done and was looking for an experienced dentist who could provide a temporary crown without being unreasonably expensive. I called as a brand-new patient, and even though her office was busy, they still fit me in--which I really appreciated. My dental situation was definitely more complicated than most, but Dr. Kashani took the time to carefully assess everything and strategically build a treatment plan for me. Today she did my temporary crown, and I was honestly impressed--it looked just as good as my natural teeth, and I barely felt any discomfort, even during the local anesthesia. She also went above and beyond by considering my insurance coverage, what I'd be paying out of pocket, and balancing aesthetics with practicality. That level of detail and care gave me full confidence I was in the right hands. Her office is modern, clean, and conveniently located, with plenty of street parking as well as a lot behind the building. The staff is warm, professional, and friendly--they made me feel comfortable right away. As a nice bonus, they even sent me home with a goodie bag! Overall, I feel really lucky to have found Dr. Kashani. As is true with all the other reviews, I'm now a believer. I loved my last dentist, but he's now 2500 miles away. This experience was equally as good. The quality of the equipment for x-rays is far superior to what I've seen previously. And the assistant who took the x-rays was both efficient and had a lovely personality. When I got to see the dentist she had all the information necessary to determine whether anything needed attention. I explained that at my age (70+) I wasn't interested in anything cosmetic and preferred a conservative approach. She respected me and made no attempt to upsell me on anything. I left feeling extremely comfortable that if I need any dental work she'll be a partner who is most interested in my care. I also was able to have a cleaning immediately after the exam. Dr. Adomian recommended two crowns and in the past they took a while to get, over a week. Dr. Steven was very kind! I really liked how he walked the procedure through with me and he has a gentle hand with the needle. I've been to other dentists where they aren't gentle at all so it hurts.
