The olive oil here is absolutely amazing. After sampling a few, we settled on the Greek-inspired one, which had such a rich, delicious flavor. We also couldn't resist picking up some of their honey to take home. The owner was very nice and informative, taking the time to explain the different oils and making the experience even more enjoyable. It's always a bonus when you can learn something new while shopping. I also love that Tesla chargers are located at interesting spots like this--it makes charging more like an opportunity to explore. The petting zoo was the most intriguing to me. Most of the animals were excited to be fed while others were just hanging out in the shade. Their enclosures looked a little small for them though. There was only one rabbit who was hiding away in their little house. It looked like it could use some grass to hop around in. I wish the hand sanitizer dispensers were filled. Every single one was empty, but I eventually found the restroom to wash off. I noticed there's a dog park here too. I'm hoping I could come back here with my dog during our next road trip. I'm sure he'd enjoy this change of scenery.

Can't stand the olives in markets with oil in them, so this froze me at the thought to putting in my dirty martini, so it got added to the bag, lol. Trying the bleu cheese olives at home in martini, I think they are good and delicious, but too salty. Maybe I need to dunk the olives in water to get some salt out of it to make it better. Otherwise, delicious addition to the martini! And the joys of having bleu cheese olives at home made me think I may try stuffing myself when I finish this bottle, so this is a place for discovery and ideas to come alive by visiting! It's not often that someone just goes into the olive oil business. Usually it's passed down from…read moregeneration to generation. However, sometimes when your family has been steeped in agriculture in other ways, it takes a current generation to move things into other arenas. Enzo is a prime example of this. The Richiutti family makes olive oil from their farms, not that far from where I grew up. Of course locality is but a part of the equation. It still has to taste good. A greenish golden colour is present to the eye but the palate has a smooth richness up front followed by a peppery kick. The profile is something you'd usually not cook with and use as a finishing oil on meats and vegetables that need some balance of fat. Though I did see someone use it in an olive oil cake which may lead to some experimentation. It's just hard to part with the fresh taste of a first press olive oil straight.

I told her I was going to submit my claim with Tulare County Environmental Health department and she said it was totally fine.
