Okay so I was called back into the office for ADDITIONAL cost above what I paid for. My furbaby has severe food allergies. Upon drop off I was assured they would adhere to her strict food diet. I provided all the food needed. Upon pickup her report card stated on day 2 of a 7 day stay she only ate a little, so they enticed her to eat with house wet food.BIG No, No. The report states she vomited three times and had very loose stool. Hence, my guarantee that they would stick to her diet. I picked up a smelly furbaby who looked dehydrated and weak. I am livid, this place was AMAZING until this boarding experience. I'm sadden to say we will not return EVER and will not recommend boarding. The staff did not seem to care, or be concerned that now I have a Vet bill to follow up with their mess. Fellow Yelpers don't board here, maybe just do the daycare only. read more

My Siberian Husky Iggy is a huge fan of Bark!Bark! He gets excited just by the mention of Bark!Bark! Everyone knows his name and they are extremely kind to him. He attends daycare weekly and LOVES it. I myself enjoy that he is having fun and the fact I can view him on the webcam!!! Iggy has done one overnight and did awesome. The fact that boarding is cage free is a HUGE plus for me. Plus he's already comfortable there so overnights are no problem. The prices are affordable especially for the care the dogs receive. Update to my previous review: I've stopped taking my pup here, because the last two times I picked him up I noticed he had a few cuts on his legs. He only gets a bath and brush, and has a super short coat -so there's no need for any sharp objects during grooming. I'm not sure how he got the cuts, and I don't think he was mistreated at all. I didn't call them to complain because I don't think it was anything other than an accident. The staff are extremely nice, and the groomers love dogs. It was probably just an accident. :/ I did try them once more after I noticed the cuts, but it happened a second time. I just love my pup so much, hate for him to have any sort of pain -even minor cuts. So figure I'd just take the time to wash him myself from now on. Bark Bark is a great place, I just worry that sometimes they get so busy; and that's when there's the potential for something to happen. Still a great option for grooming, but for now I'll be taking care of my four-legged friend on my own. Been scrubbing him down on the ol' patio and he's happy as a clam. :) read more

Our family 's Bark! Bark! Not only do we love it, but Todd, our golden doodle, absolutely loves this place. He feels at home here! We have been coming to Bark! Bark! for a couple of years now. We even drive all the way to Long Beach from Manhattan Beach because of the stellar job they do here and how much Todd loves it. It is so worth it! We feel relaxed and have no worries when Todd has to be boarded here. Prices are great as well. Todd gets groomed here and our groomer is phenomenal! Our dalmatian loves this place and so do we. Our dalmatian is a still a puppy (just over 1 y/o) and has a ton of energy. She often wears out our senior beagle. We take her 3-5 times a month to Bark! Bark! and it is worth every dollar. We've been taking her here for about 8 months. When we drop her off in the morning she is super excited to get in the door. When we pick her up after work she is sleeping in the car before I get all the way down the street. She is also exhausted the next day from all her play. They have video that you can watch during the day if you want which is pretty funny. The staff is also really great and super friendly. They know my dog by name without having to ask. They also tell you about the day and who they played with. The groomers are also wonderful and leave you a report card. Some days we have her dropped off to play and get groomed. Nice to pick up a clean dog :) I can't say enough great things about Bark! Bark! and recommend every dog owner I know. *They also have a dog trainer, Danny, and he is awesome. Review for boarding only! We went on an out-of-state trip so we had to leave our two Senior dogs at boarding. We gave specific instructions as to their medications needed and their food. We provided there two beds and noted that they had to stay in a suite together, since they both suffer from separation anxiety. When we pick them up both of their beds wreaked of urine. to the point where we had to wash them three times in the machines just to get the smell off. our dogs when we got them were bathed but I can only imagine how dirty they were before that if they were in this week where the beds had accumulated such a horrific smell. I also gave enough dosing for the entire time that we were gone. When the medication was returned there were extras. Which meant that there were days that were skipped and my dogs were not dosed correctly. Reply to the business response below: I picked up my dogs around 10:30pm. They were handed to me with the food, bedding, medications. There was no one at the front desk this was after hours pick up. It was NOT communicated to me that there was any accidents on both beds. What was there to communicate to the business? The kids handing over the materials to me were super young. I wouldn't expect them to know how to handle any business matters. That should be left to a manager or supervisor. Regardless, the amount of medications given at the end were incorrect. I should have not have had any extra. I had 3 I was gone for 7 days and provided 7 pills. Everyone was friendly in my interaction, but yes was disappointed after pick up. read more

This was hard to write.... My husband and I rescued our dog (she's now a little over 1yr old) and have had her for roughly 5 months. This is my first dog, ever. She's been attending Bark!Bark! for 4 months. We chose this daycare based on location & reviews. The staff is very nice, always have sweet things to say and tell me how much they love our pup. She's stayed overnight at the Signal Hill location a small handful of times and does normal weekly daycare at the Long Beach location. The last few times she's stayed for a weekend, she's gotten a little sick. Unfortunately, the most recent stay caused her to be more ill than I ever imagined. Crusty eyes, no energy, uncontrollable diarrhea, no appetite including water. She went from a 1 yr old pup, to acting like a 13 yr old dog. After taking her to the vet, proceeding with testing, everything came back negative. I should've called the daycare sooner, but thought it was better to test her and THEN call, this way I could go through with them what she tested for. Daycare Signal Hill told me their facility had an increase lately in Kennel Cough. (She was tested, doesn't have it and isn't coughing). When I asked the manager I was speaking with what their internal policy is for notifying pet owners about it going around, she explained to me they do NOT have one and there is no way they are able to alert pet owners that bring their dogs within a specific time frame. I asked, "no general email?", I was told no. ... let that sink in. I understand a dog daycare may have a lot of clients, however, being told they have no way of keeping track or communicating this to pet owners is insulting. They can send us a receipt via email, but have no way of notifying us when dogs are getting sick? The most disappointing part of the conversation was being told my dog only ate 1 time over the course of 2 1/2 days. When I picked her up from being boarded, they gave me a small bag of food and card that said she ate "most meals". "Most meals" over 2.5 days doesn't equal 1. Beyond upsetting. If I would've known her eating habits sooner, she could've been treated differently from the beginning. Sadly, this now makes me question the other times she's been boarded, when I've been handed food and told she ate "most meals". This is my first dog. Huge learning experience moving forward to always call the daycare and double check everything right away. I'm upset with myself for placing so much faith and confidence in their team to tell me the truth, instead they were less than transparent. All of this to me is neglect. Neglecting to tell the owner what's really going on with their dogs eating habits. Neglecting to not communicate when dogs are being reported sick. Things happen, dogs get sick, but it's not hard to communicate to owners something is going around. And it's neglecting the dogs health. Part of me thought about not writing this review because I've been so disappointed, but I rather communicate this than it happen to someone else's dog. read more

I like the fact that you can see how your dog is doing at anytime and they did exactly as asked when it came to feeding Cutie because she's such a finicky eater. Thank goodness for Bark Bark! I adopted a 6 month old puppy a couple of weeks ago and knew that I wanted him to be social and well behaved. He has a ton of puppy energy that needs to be redirected from eating shoes and furniture. My previous dog was also rescued and had a lot of bad behaviors (food aggression, anti-social, etc.) and I didn't want to go through the same issues with Pierre. I took Pierre for his temper test last Saturday and he nailed it. The report card they gave him was crazy adorable! He had his first day of all day daycare yesterday and l'm so glad we found this place! First of all, the staff is awesome. Super friendly, doesn't give you weird looks when you ask over-protective fur mom questions, and really engaged with Pierre. I am admittedly obsessed with watching him on the webcam. He clearly loves the staff because I always see him following them around and they stop and give him one on one attention and it's the sweetest thing. I love that now that my dog feels more confident, he plays with dogs of all sizes so he's not intimidated. You can see that there are at least two people with the large groups of dogs at all times. Everyone is constantly being monitored and it is super clean. Another great thing is that they are open on weekends so if I have boring errands to run I can bring him there and he can play instead of being locked up. So much guilt removed from my life! When he's able to play all day he doesn't have all that pent up energy that I have to try to get out of him after working all day. We can just take a leisurely walk and spend quality time together. Honestly, I've never even thought about doggie daycare before but I'm a full believer now. Can't wait to see how Pierre progresses as he gets more and more confident and makes friends. Thank you Bark Bark! ***UPDATE I wanted to update this review after boarding my pup with Bark Bark for 5 days when I went out of state. Even though he's totally used to Bark Bark, loves the staff, and I have total trust in them, I was losing my damn mind leaving him for that long. The fact that I could check on him everyday via the webcam was awesome. I knew he was happy, having fun, and getting constant cuddles from the awesome staff. When I picked him up he was super excited to see me but I could tell he'd had a great time and felt safe there. They gave me a thorough overview of how he ate while he was there, his behavior and I have another super adorable report card up on my fridge because I'm a crazy dog mom like that. I've been taking my dog here for about a year, and it's been a mostly positive experience. My only negative review of this place is for the past 2 or maybe 3 months there's been the most unfriendly woman working the front desk. When you walk in, she just stares at you, no "Hi, how can I help you" or "Hi, who are you dropping off/picking up", or even just a "Hi", just silent staring. This is completely different from everyone else that works that desk, it used to be a very friendly environment. I've never gotten her name, but my guess would be that she's either one of the owners or maybe a manager (she has the attitude of someone that thinks they are important). I'm sure she has many positive traits, but friendly customer service is not one of them. If she had been working when I first brought my dog in, I would not have come back. That said, literally every other person I've interacted with there is super nice and friendly, they all seem to very much be dog people. I would still totally recommend the place, just don't always expect a friendly welcome when you walk in. read more

I have been coming here since June 2017. I had just recently moved down the street and found bark bark daycare. It's literally walking distance from my place. I like the early drop off option and the facility is super clean and always nice and cold. Perfect for my puppy English bulldog, Chyna. She's a super energetic dog so taking her here a few times a week helps her interactions with other dogs and get here exercise in as well. She is wiped out when she comes home. I love it. I'm so happy I found this daycare and it's close by to where I live. Very clean facility and the staff is the BEST and friendliest. They treat my dog like one of their own and he absolutely loves all the attention he gets. I take my dog here 3-4 times a week and he always comes back exhausted and happy. My sister told me "if you can here the tick, tick, tick of their nails on the floor, they need to be trimmed.' Well that's what I hear as my pupster walked across the hardwood floor. I discovered Bark! Bark! has this location not far from my house, so after calling and asking about nail trimming, I made an appointment for Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and got right to business. A woman come out of the back room, took my pupster in the back and started working on his nails. I hear a grinder and ask about it. Being my Black Lab has black nails, they grind them down rather than clip them, though she didn't explain why. Being the "doting father" that I am, I was able to stand at the counter and watch them on the security moniter, which helped me relax a bit. After 10 or so minutes he was done, I paid the $7 and we were on our way. I still the tick, tick, tick of his nails on the floor.... so maybe my sister was wrong, who knows. My family has a Bluenose Pit bull. Her name is Skyy. She is lovable, gentle, great with kids and a has been a valuable asset to our family. I was sad to be turned away at the chance of Skyy being able to run around and hang out with our puppy/doggy pals because this facility chooses to do business with an insurance company that discriminates against this breed. State Farm, Fireman's Fund, Kemper, Chubb Group and Farmers Insurance, do not discriminate against pit bulls. Though Bark Bark offers grooming for Skyy, our family refuses to do business with a company that supports breed discrimination. Discrimination against dog breeds is no different than discrimination against a human race or religion. Bark Bark sounds like a great place, but we'll never know because they don't take Pitt Bulls, even though ours is a sweet girl who loves playing with other dogs and who is taken to dog parks regularly. And to make matters worse, this is NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE! Trust me, I looked everywhere because I had heard a "rumor" that they didn't take certain breeds, but I was happy when I didn't see any such thing on their website. So I filled out the day care application, got all my papers together and when I called the first question was "What breed is your dog?" And was then told because she's a Pit Bull Mix they couldn't take her because their insurance won't allow them. I understand SOME Pit Bulls have given the whole breed a really bad rap, but that's what the temperament test is supposed to be for. There are dogs in any breed that are aggressive and don't play well with other dogs and then there are pit bulls like ours who are sweet and love to play and love being around other dogs. We don't want our dog to be stuck in a kennel. We want her to have a good life - that's why we adopted her to begin with. But places like Bark Bark just make it so difficult because they won't even give her a chance. Because of this, I'd suggest whatever breed you have, you support the Equal Rights for Pit Bulls and All Breeds cause and boycott Bark Bark until they sign up with an insurance company that does not support discrimination. [Additional info - added after Bark Bark response] Okay, so perhaps I over reacted because I was upset. But had your website included both what breeds you do not allow into Doggie Day Care as well as a GOOD explanation as to why, then I wouldn't have been upset. I just would've said "oh well" and gone to somewhere else. Also, since you know you don't take certain breeds and you know that people are going to call who have those breeds, it would be great customer service to maintain a list of other Doggie Day Cares that do take those breeds and refer people like me to them. I was referred to Bark Bark by someone else (and yes, you came highly recommended) but when I called, I was only told that you didn't take Pit Bulls and that "I thin maybe Centinela does but I don't know if they have overnight stay." Imagine how different I would have felt about your company if the response had been "I am SO sorry, but due to Signal Hill laws regarding business insurance and the type of insurance we have to get, we are unable to get insurance that allows us to have Pit Bulls in Day Care or Overnight stay. HOWEVER, I can recommend another great place in town that will take Pit Bulls. Here's their name and number." I would have been disappointed that I couldn't come to Bark Bark, but I wouldn't have been upset. I would have actually been very thrilled with the great customer service. And while I still would have suggested you add the info to your website, I would have probably given you at least a 4 star review for providing excellent customer service. And I probably would have still used you for grooming. Anyway, I understand you have to follow procedures and since you work there you fully understand why they are what they are, but from a potential customer standpoint, you fell short for me today. read more

My fault, but if this business is not willing to accommodate than there is plenty of other groomers that will be more than happy to take him in. As a business in a industry where it is extremely saturated, customer service is what makes you stand out and I feel this business was not flexible in working with me. This review is long over due because we have been coming here for over a year already. First off, let me talk about grooming. What can I say? Cloud always comes back looking amazing after his spa day. The groomer is awesome and does his paw trims so nice and neat to the point where he looks like he's wearing socks! He is a samoyed so he gets pretty fluffy and I can imagine bathing and grooming would be quite time consuming and difficult. I just got a new appreciation for the groomer because I took my other dog somewhere else and she came back looking horrific but cloud is a usual here at bark bark! and always comes out looking great, prancing out at the end of the day with his tail wagging. Not only does the groomer do wonders, but Cloud absolutely loves her and runs to her even if it's not bath day. Aside from grooming, we all love the staff at daycare as well. They know Cloud by name and they always get excited to see him which lets us know he's in good hands. The time is convenient for the most part, but sometimes I wish it opened a little earlier. After suffering a mishap with a certain hair clipper during a home hair cut, my dog turned out looking more like a Clydesdale horse rather than a cocker spaniel. Embarrassed that Milo had what look like fur boots for 2 months, I made a grooming appointment as soon as his fur grew out so that he could be groomed back to his old handsome self. I had the good fortune to find Bark! Bark! through a living social deal, but plan to return to them regularly because: - they're $50 for a grooming... $5 less than my old groomers! - the owner was exceptionally nice, both over the phone and in person - his cocker cut was perfect. I was always leery of taking Milo to his old groomers during the weekends, because I felt they did a rush job that left a mat or 2. Bark! Bark! did wonderfully... even on a Saturday! - during the morning I dropped Milo off, the owner just happened to have her dog with her... a deaf great dane puppy that she had adopted. I have a six month pitbull puppy who won't be accepted because he is a Pitbull. I'm tired of doggy-racists. I like taking my dog to this location for many reasons that include: 1) There are always about 20-50 dogs here for him to play with. 2) If you choose the doggy spa package, daycare is only $10 for the entire day. Check-in on yelp and get a free blueberry facial!! 3) They are open 7am-7pm. Petco opens at 9am (too late for me). This is really convenient for owners who have to go to work early and get out late. 4) Doggy web cam! When I'm at work, I sometimes put the doggy camera footage on the side of my screen so I can see how he's doing. It is quite funnie to watch. Owners can access the cam through their website. Call in for the username and password. 5) Reasonably priced. 6) 24 hour attendant. At night, dogs are not crated and sleep together in a room with the attendant present. 7) A lot of workers - all very friendly and happy to answer any questions that owners may have. I asked a ton of questions when I first came in and they were happy to answer all my questions. 9) They are on top of their vaccination records so owners do not have to worry that their dog might catch something from another dog. 10) Free training is offered twice a month - on Sundays. read more

I love going to Bark! Bark! for my doggy needs. I have a black lab/rottweiler mix, Simba, that I love bringing to play. Typically, we bring Simba here to play, but, occasionally, we do get him groomed here as well. Here are the selling points: -All dogs have to be up-to-date on their shots, and there is an interview process to make sure the dogs are well-behaved beforing interacting with the pack. -There are always a ton of dogs for Simba to play with to get exercise. -There is a surveillance camera that you can access on the website to check up on your dog. -They are open early and close late enough to get there after work. -The workers are all really nice, and there are always a couple people inside looking after the group. -If you leave your dog overnight, there is an attendant that stays overnight! -The price is affordable. -You can get a doggy spa package for $40, and, for an extra $10, your dog can stay the day for daycare! Here's why my dog Tank comes here from now on: -Convenient hours and open on Sundays (Signal Hill Location FYI). -Staff is exceptionally polite and no hassle check-in/check-out. -Plenty of parking (few spots in front of building and lots of street parking). -Prices are very reasonable. Great value for what you pay. My french bulldog Tank is a regular here. He comes five days a week because of our long work days. I would never leave him at home for more than five hours at a time because that's not fair to him, in my opinion. Bark! Bark! SH is less than 4 minutes from my house, so I have no problem dropping him off to have fun and get his energy out. The staff here takes good care of Tank so I have no problem spending my money here. As long as my dog enjoys it here and the staff is appreciative of our service, this will be Tank's daycare home. BELIEVE ME, Tank has been going to many doggie daycares throughout his life (we've moved a lot), so I've seen the bad and the good of the doggie daycare business. Bark! Bark! Doggy Service: 2/5 We came in for The Full Bark (full grooming). I asked for a short cut. The groomer said he will leave 1/4 inch of fur. My furry friend came back with a lot more than just 1/4 inch of fur. The face and ears were barely trimmed. The ear hair was not fully cut away. But hey, she smelled nice... There are two reasons why we aren't coming back: 1) My doggy had fleas a week after coming here. She's an indoor dog, so there was no way she could have gotten them anywhere. 2) They receptionist didn't ask for any proof of rabies or vaccination papers. I was pleasantly surprised when i found this little gem. The owners are wonderful and very hands on and the staff really have a love of the four legged critters. I moved to Long Beach earlier this year at the height of the pandemic and really needed a daycare for my pup Timothy who developed separation anxiety from both the move and also from me being home a lot more from work. I love the convenience of being able to drop off and pick up at my leisure and he always seems to have a good time. Staff is always courteous and attentive. I also like peeking in on him on their facility web cameras to check on him from time to time. That being said, there's just ONE flaw that I have to mention. Some days when I come to pick up him up, one of the girls who hands Timothy's leash off to me always clips the leash on the wrong ring. Instead of clipping the leash on to the collar ring, she clips it on the small thin ring that his dog tag is on. Two times now while walking him the small ring SNAPPED sending his dog tag flying and nowhere to be found. First time was when he got excited seeing one of his buddies and pulled hard. Luckily, he ran up to his buddy and continued to sniff him so I was able to grab him. Nevertheless, it was a bit of a scary experience. Second time was just a few minutes ago. I was taking him for his stroll before bed time and he was pulling towards a toy someone left on the side walk. Again, the new tag I bought for him snapped and went flying into the middle of redondo ave and again, nowhere to be found. I can always spend another $20 for a new tag, but I'm a bit worried that one day he's going to run into the middle of traffic and get injured or even cause an accident. When I'm home, I always take off his collar and leash and do not leave his collar on. The last time his leash was taken off his collar was at daycare. I understand it's partly my fault for not double checking to make sure someone didn't click the leash on the wrong ring, but some days it just slips my mind. My dogs LOVE doggy day care. I LOVE taking them to Bark Bark. I have been to various doggy day cares and boarding, and have finally stopped looking. I used to take them to this one down in Irvine, because I couldn't find one that I liked up in Long Beach, or was wary of trusting one. So the place that I used to go to, which will remain nameless, they would close at 6, put them in their kennels at 7night, and return at 530 am to open up shop again. If anyone that has a dog after daycare knows, they need to pee ALOT after. So of course everytime I got my dog back from boarding, they smelled like pee. I felt so bad thinking my dog had to sleep in his own piss. Anyways, so bark bark has an attendant 24 hrs, and at night, they are not crated, but sleep together in a room with an attendant present. It's nice to get your dog back and he doesn't smell of urine. I love taking them here when it's 90 outside and I have to go somewhere, because it's air conditioned and you know they won't overheat. Plus everyone here seems to really like dogs and their job =D they are pretty on top of their vaccination record so you know you're dog is going somewhere where they probably wont catch something nasty. read more

Since my husband and I both work in Santa Monica, we needed to arrange for a dog walker to come in and relieve our little guy during a our long days away. In came BarkBark!. At first I thought we would be able to use the daycare facility in Downtown but they don't offer early drop offs DT (since we live near that location it wouldn't make sense to drive to the Signal Hill just for early drop off). That was a bit of a bummer as we need to leave by 6:45 to make it to work on time. (Crazy commute, I know!) Since daycare wasn't an option, I looked into dog walking and set up a consultation appointment. When I booked the consultation, BarkBark! did tell me that there would be different walkers coming on our requested days but they set up a consultation for only 1 of the walkers--this should have been a red flag. The first walk went seemingly well (ie. we didn't hear any bad news and received a pic of our little guy out on his walk). Our next walk day came around and I received a phone call at work saying our dog was growling and snapping at the walker preventing them from taking him out on a walk. We've never seen any aggressive behavior from our shih tzu and the only thing we could think was that it was because he had never met this walker before. I requested another consultation with the second walker so that he could meet them and feel more comfortable in the future. We stuck with the walks for a few weeks but every time we received the 'your dog has been walked' email our little guy did not look happy and there was an accompanying note saying he was still growling and snapping at the walker but no advice on how to correct the behavior. Their only solution was to add time to our walks. This was the last straw. We cancelled our walks with BarkBark! and set up walks with Trots--who understood our frustrations and JoJo was willing to work with our little guy so we can all be happy. On another note, our little guy seemed to have a good time at daycare so I would definitely recommend that! read more

I've been meaning to write an update for a while. Shiba Inus can be temperamental doggies and ours is no exception. This is review is for the grooming services they provide. Since Akira had been going here for a while, he is used to the staff, so decided to try them out for the grooming services. He has black nails and I'm scared to death to cut them as I may cut the quick. The first time, the groomer said he was a little quirky when handling the paws, but no real trouble. He looked fabulous and almost like a show dog. Shibas don't need a lot of baths because they are the cats of the dog world and are constantly grooming themselves, but still. However it was holiday time and he needed to look and smell his best for going to Nanas house. He received the blueberry facial as part of his groom. When I came to pick him up, Vivian the owner asked if I self wash the dog and dry him. I thought it was an odd question, but then she explained that while she was sitting at the front desk, she keep hearing this weird noise from the grooming room during his session, but every time she walked in he stopped. So she snuck a video of him. While he was getting dried with the air drier he was making this grunt/ whining noise.. the funniest thing on the planet. They are so accepting of his antics and find him funny and so patient with his kind.. Another reason I don't have to worry about him at Bark Bark!. We've also kept him overnight there and he loves it as he gets to sleep cage free and only complains when they have to put him in another room so that they can clean up the main sleeping room. read more

I took a stray here. They were so accommodating to get him in late on a Sunday. They did a basic wash and brush, but were nice to clean his ears too. I added the flea shampoo (there are lots of different shampoos or extras you can add). I love the decor and layout, including the easy to read and follow prices on treatments. They have lots of cameras for the doggy daycare. The staff is very friendly and warm too. Only minor downside is I was told to come back an hour after I dropped the dog off, and when I came back exactly an hour later they hadn't even started working on him...so had to wait another hour. Sent me a nice coupon in the mail too. read more

Tried out Bark! Bark! today as part of a living social deal. I took my shih tzu, Kenji, for the works. Very satisfied and will be coming back in a few months for his regular grooming (got 5% off for re-booking). The place itself is really nice and clean and the staff is very friendly (not only to me but also Kenji). Felt at easy leaving him there. I told them what I usually get for his haircut and he came back looking amazingly fluffy, clean, and smelling great (about 1.5hours). I used to take him to petsmart and for the same price for grooming (~$50), I will definitely be taking him to Bark! Bark! instead for the great atmosphere, staff, and good work that they do. Reminder calls for appointments is also a plus!! read more

To put it lightly, my 6 month old miniature poodle, Leo, is a bundle of energy. In spite of the fact that I take him on fairly long walks on a daily basis, he manages to reach into his puppy energy stores and run shockingly fast laps around my house every night. Since I knew that his excess energy was partially attributable to staying home alone for a few hours every weekday, I looked up options for doggy daycare by my school in Long Beach. I was very pleased that Bark! Bark! provided me with a puppy report card that detailed how Leo got along with the other dogs at the facility. The best part of taking Leo to Bark! Bark! is how exhausted he is when I pick him up. It puts my mind at ease to know that he gets lots of exercise and socialization at daycare, instead of being cooped up at home. I plan on taking advantage of their "Spaw Day" package (which includes $10 daycare with the purchase of grooming) next time Leo needs a haircut. read more
