My dog, Miss.Maple, loves playing with her friends at Bark. I love the staff, a great bunch of ladies who genuinely love the dogs. Miss. Maple has been going to daycare once or twice a week for over a year and is exhausted when she gets home from playing, that's a good thing. I only wish they would invest in cameras so I can see her playing sometimes. The staff will send pictures when I request them. My dog is 2 and I have never seen her play with another dog. My last visit in April 2026 my dogs stayed overnight several days, asked for a groom was not done, they did not get a full groom, my dogs did not poop until 2 days later, that was not normal, was not getting feed properly. I raved about this place months before, what has changed, I really do not know. These are my babies and I want them comfortable & taken care of when I am out of town. The stench was awful, the "suites" were fine but overall it was not a place I would leave my dog. On the way out I asked why they call it a "boutique". I took my 2 dogs here for spring break and was leery due to a previous traumatic experience at a different dog hotel over Thanksgiving break. The people at Bark are great! They knew I was nervous but said I could check in and when I did, they were helpful & very responsive to my questions right away. Our very large puppy Cooper love BARK! He waits by the door wagging his tail each morning. He is so sweet and tired when he gets home. They feed him if we don't have time in the morning, and they keep him overnight if I'm running crazy late from work and can't get there in time to pick him up. My dog didn't have the Bordetella vaccine when I booked him and they called offering to administer it there. When I picked him up after we got back into town later that week, I found out they never gave it to him and told me to call to set up a time to bring him in to get it. Well, my dog now has kennel cough, after spending the entire day at the pet hospital, and has given it to my 12 year old Pomeranian who already has severe issues with her trachea. Our family became displaced from the snowstorm in February when our place was flooded due to a fire sprinkler situation. We had no idea we would be in this situation for 11 weeks. Our friends recommended Bark! to us, so we took our two very spoiled fur babies there. Winnie (boxer) is 7 and Panda (part pit) is 2.5 years old. I didn't visit them for the first 5 weeks, as I didn't want them to get confused, thinking I'd come to take them home. But I couldn't take it anymore, and stopped in to see them. I was very happy that they didn't smell and seemed just fine. I've stopped by on other occasions, still no issues. The pictures are from one of my drop in visits to see the babies. Donnae (owner) let me know that Winnie wasn't feeling well, so I took her to the vet. Got her some medication for an infection, took her back 3 weeks later and the infection was gone. I was happy I was able to trust them to give Winnie her medication twice a day. Winnie is a boxer and has high anxiety, so she had lost quite a bit of weight from missing us and probably shivering (that's what the vet said), but has since put the pounds back on. Thank you Bark! for treating our babies as your own. Knowing they were safe with you helped us so much. We missed them like crazy, but happy they were with you, getting treated well. We highly recommend Bark! to anyone - our experience has been 5 star! read more

Fantastic place. Building was built for dog care not a modified existing space. My dog is always happy and well cared for.

This place was recommended to me, but will no longer utilize. Had to board my Pomeranian unexpectedly. When I dropped him off, there were two teenagers at the front desk. One of them was holding a dog while trying to check people in, print paperwork, etc. 1. If that was someone's boarded dog or someone's dog there for daycare - that is VERY unprofessional. I would not be happy dropping my dog off knowing that the staff is going to be holding and carrying my dog around like that.. Should be with other dogs for socializing - not to be someone's accessory for the time being and a chance of mishandling. 2. Pet check in time would probably have gone a lot smoother and quicker if she had both hands free, not carrying someone's dog.... That alone, my first impression did not sit well with me when I had to leave him there. When I picked him up, he was brought to me by another teenager.. I had to ask her to go back to get the bag I brought in with my dog that included food, treats, one of his toys and his blanket to make him more comfortable... Like, hello??? When I got him into our car, he was so dirty and had dog poop on his back! I was so disgusted so thank goodness I was able to get him groomed immediately after picking him up. I hate leaving negative reviews, but never again. Like all pet owners, my dog is my baby. If he's not going to be looked after appropriately and/or treated right, don't expect me to trust you. I mean, come on... another dogs poop on my Pomeranians back? Seriously? Too many hired teenagers that don't seen to have respect for other peoples animals. It's just a paying job so I feel that they don't care. read more

Extremely disappointed in this experience at Bark Hotel. I called them on Saturday looking for a place for my bulldog Winston who has Spina Bifida and they said "No problems we are familiar with what his needs will be" and I offered to walk them thru what I do with him daily in terms of changing his diaper, she assured me it was no problem and if I wanted to bring his diapers great if not that had stuff there. ( of course I brought them because I know what size he needs ) Tuesday I receive a text message , not a phone call a text message stating they aren't a good fit for him as his diaper keeps coming off. ( again if they wouldn't have been insistent on know how to care for him I would have showed them how to secure the diaper to the clips on his harness) I just picked him up, the reason his diaper kept coming off is because they never put his harness back on that have the clips all set up for them and that is how his diaper stays on. They had no problem being quick to say " oh yes we can take him" and take my money only to find out they had NO clue how to care for him. read more

Boarded my 3 dogs for 2 nights here and all of them (vaccinated) came back with kennel cough...they take pictures of dogs and post on social media, but the two times I've boarded and done daycare with them they've never posted photos of mine. It also smells awful there and the dogs come back stinky, but I understand dogs are dogs, too. They changed pricing and you have to pay if you want your dog to have a full day of play; I definitely prefer Lone Star Dog Ranch in Anna, worth a little more of a drive and they get to free range all day long. Charlie Bear seems to like Bark. It's been awhile since we dropped in for daycare or boarding but our experiences so far have been positive. He comes home exhausted, but not to the point of limping or any other physical ailment. You can tell they gave the little bear a work out (as he is much calmer after a day at Bark). We purchased a play care pre-paid package that you can use anytime. The rate for a single occupant boarding suite (standard, not the cadillac) is $36 with 1/2 off your second pet if sharing. The place is clean, smells good, and the staff is friendly. Other dogs seem to thumbs up the place too - I've watched several hop out of their cars and trot up to the front entrance, wagging tail in tow. So far so good! read more

We have used Bark in the past, but just recently boarded. As soon as I went inside to collect our dog, the smell of urine/ammonia was so overwhelming I was almost nauseous. The whole car ride home we could smell urine, and needless to say, I just finished giving my 90 pound dog a bath after spending $$ to have her boarded in a private suite. Not sure how this happens, but doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. I'm not sure we will be back which is unfortunate since we've had good experiences in the past. Staff was pleasant. read more

I have taken my 2 pups here for doggie daycare and for boarding since they opened. We all love it! They have lots of outdoor space for the big dogs and separate play areas for the little ones. They even bring out the kiddie pools in the warm weather and bring the pups inside to play when extreme weather hits. As well as closely watching your pets where they will bring your pet inside if they think they are getting overheated. Lynn is the favorite care taker of my two boys. They get very excited when they see her to where I wonder if they don't like her more than me! She'll call with any comments/questions about their care. The team tests new dogs play personalities and will not allow them into play care if there are any hesitations regarding the dogs. This practice not only keeps the other dogs safe in play care but also the workers that are there in the middle of the play. This puts my mind at ease since I have a very large dog that tends to get attacked by smaller/medium breeds trying to prove themselves when we've gone to play at dog parks. Just waiting for them to install video cameras in the play yard and play rooms! Definitely recommend! read more

My little guy loves it here. He gets so excited. We have used Bark multiple times both for playcare and overnight stays. I am a very picky pet owner and the little man is in his double digits so he needs extra love. The staff at Bark has always been helpful, friendly, and genuinely care about him. There is plenty of play space and it is supervised - always important. It would be nice to have webcam and I've had that in the past with boarders. But honestly, it hasn't been an issue. Every time I have arrived he has been well watched and happy. Even when I call, someone can immediately give me a report on how he is doing, how he is behaving, and if there are any issues. I do recommend taking advantage of their bath and nail trim after a long stay. Nothing like picking up freshly bathed clean-smelling fur babies to have one less thing on the to-do list. read more

So, we've been taking our 3 dogs to BARK for several years. After all this time, I decided to chat with the Manager about a couple of things. 1. I was super-impressed at how quickly she got back to me. 2. She addressed by concerns about the smell in the facility. Recently the smell seems to be getting worse in their lobby. When I asked her about this challenge, was very impressed at all they have done to try and address the matter. I was told they have even gone so far as to tear down a wall and replace due to damage. She was so very friendly and assured me they will keep at it until they discover the source of the odor at the facility. Once they have tackled the odor issue, they will earn that 5th star from me! Our Chester just loves going to BARK and we are so tickled at how much the employees care about him. We are BARK fans and will continue to be so. read more

My Pit - mix Suzy LOVES coming here for doggy daycare and boarding! The staff greet her as though she's a child coming in to school which makes us laugh, and Suzy's equally pleased to see them. Makes me very happy to know our girl is well taken care of while she's there. My wife still calls for updates on her frequently and the staff are always so kind to us and attentive to her - that they're always able to give us great updates that keep our minds at ease while traveling.
