My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted. As a newer customer, I was not aware of all of the policies. When I arrived to get my two girls…read morebathed, they advised their bordatella shots were expired as they required updated Board to tell a vaccinations every six months. They were a couple months expired. I inquired as to why they didn't notify me because they notified me of another vaccination that was due, and they said it was supposed to be automated. It was missed and I was not notified prior to the appointment. It was two days before Christmas with company coming and I was less stranded. No accommodations, no alternatives, no solutions. I asked to speak to a manager and was advised that I could not. They gave me a card with an email address. I requested to speak to a manager so I could get it resolved so I can get them in but was refused. I guess management doesn't want to speak to clients. Icing on the cake is that my vet graciously got us in within 10 minutes of leaving the lodge, and when I called to advise that they were getting updated Bordetella vaccinations and asked if I could bring them back in, I was told no because their bather preferred for all the dogs to be there on time, even though it was them that pushed me out to begin with. I will not be returning simply for the poor, very poor customerservice aspect of their business.

Over the years there have been a couple situations where things didn't go exactly as expected. Those moments are when you find out what a business is really made of. Wendy has repeatedly stepped in with professionalism, calm leadership, and genuine care. She takes ownership, communicates openly, and clearly cares about the animals and the families who trust them to Pet Paradise. There were times she even proactively called to let us know about something happening so we were never left wondering. That kind of accountability and transparency matters.
