I love Barnes and nobles! It's always nice being able to walk around, seeing what's displayed on the bookshelves, and finding interesting books to add to my reading list. The lines here can get long, but I think the staff genuinely does their best to move through the lines. They also offer popular trading cards , and I see how they can get slammed during release or restock events. A lot of people seem to be upset about how inconsistent this Barnes and nobles can be in this aspect, but I do see how overwhelming this can be for workers who are not familiar with details of each release. As someone who collects, I do get frustrated with inconsistent inventory and missed drop days, but I think everyone should be patient with the book keepers who are doing their job. I can appreciate that there is a Barnes and nobles in south Corona. I love coming to find books for myself, and taking my kids through to find goodies for them as well. read more

Really miss the old B&n vibe. I used to study at these locations during college and and I'm glad this store still has that old vibe. Brown tables, bookshelves, reading area, and now a smaller magazine area. There used to be CD and DVD and now it's filled with plushies. Came here to do my first Lego event here. First time hearing about it online and was able to reserve a spot for my husband and I to build. This event today was their Happy Hummingbuild set. There were areas that you can sit and build. Although no Master Builder was there to help so we just figured it out on our own. After building we strolled around the store and picked up a few new bestsellers as well as toys for our kids. Located in Crossings Corona section near Best Buy. Has a large parking lot that's shared so easy to find parking. read more

My granddaughter and I stopped by to look and see if we could find some books to read. After browsing around for 30 mins my granddaughter found 3 books, bookmark and book lamp to purchase. We stood in a long line of 18 other customers patiently waiting to make their purchases. By the way there was only one cashier. I left the line to see if I could find a staff member to help out. I saw one female staff member at the customer service desk. I politely asked if she could have a staff member go to the cashier desk and help out. I was told there were only 2 people currently working at that moment. She said they were low on staff today. That's crazy to only have a total of 2 people working especially it being the holiday season. For the store to not have adequate staff, the store looked clean & organized. read more

Checked in mid January to buy some Literary Treasures for a Family Baby Shower and crashed into a Goldmine of adorably fun Cave Illuminating Masterpieces! I was able to snag a Super Cute Curious George Book helping Rookie Parents set the Stage for Success in mindfully nurturing their upcoming homemade Creatively charged Curious Monkey ;0) I also found a lovely Kids Book playfully educating the little ones about our Favorite Chinese New Year Traditions, and a super cool and informative Adult's Book detailing the History of our most well known Chinese Culinary Delicacies as well!! Barnes and Nobles also had a fantastic selection of Fashionably Chic Cards to help maintain my Favorite Tradition of handwritten encouraging and affirming cards! ;0) The Team Members were all very welcoming and fun and gave us some terrific recommendations on their latest reads as well! I definitely recommend this Barnes and Nobles to find special Books to enrich the homes of you and your loved ones! I love all Barnes and Noble. I really wish there were more Barns and Nobles around. I love the size of this location and the amount of books you can find. Not only do they have a lot of books but they also have a good amount of music. I love shopping for records here. They also have a great children area with so many beautiful books for kids. You'll also find a great deal of collectors items like funko pops and so much more. I usually spend hours in here looking through different books and enjoying a coffee from the Starbucks located inside of here. This location is also in a great shopping place. I usually leave with at least 1 to 2 books when I come here. The service has always been great. I've never had any problems finding help here. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The only thing is that I wish the bathrooms were a little brighter and less dingy looking. Although they are kept as clean as possible. read more

Disgusting. Despicable. Deplorable. We have spent hundreds of dollars at various Barnes and Noble's over the years and the organization will NEVER receive a dime from me ever. My husband ran in to see if they had any baseball cards and they didn't so he left. His wallet set off the alarm and he turned around and said I don't have anything but you can check to the girl at the front. She said nothing so he left and went to GameStop. While he was in that store purchasing 200 worth of baseball the staff in there said, B&N just got robbed and he's coming here next so we need to be on the lookout. My husband said to them, they probably think it was me I set off the alarm and he went back to the store to clear things up. As soon as he went back, the Barnes and Noble staff treated him like a criminal. RSO there. If he stole, why would he go back?!?! He emptied all of his pockets and the lady said she saw him put something in his pocket. He explained that his wallet has some sort of metal in to and it sets things off all the time. He asked her at the time of incident if she wanted him to come back. She never said a word. So to show them, He walked through without the wallet. No alarm. He holds the wallet and walks through, alarm goes off. The store manager wouldn't even come out, so this girl was just out there accusing my husband without ANY cause. The cops released him and apologized. The B&N employee said nothing. Why don't you look for actual shoplifters. The people that walk through your store for hours, and then don't buy a thing. Not people who go to the counter, ask a question and then leave. The least the staff could have done was apologize. Ridiculous. Never. Shopping. Here. Or any Barnes ever again. read more

We visited Barnes for Story Time at 12pm (Tuesdays) (2pm Sundays). It was so cute! They have a book section from babies to about preteen and within that section is a little stage where they do Story Time. We got to Barnes a bit early so we headed to the cafe. We had some pastries and two coffees. Barnes cafe manager Gaby greeted us kindly and prepared our order: she did an excellent job on our drinks and food! She was also patient with us ordering with two toddlers. So I appreciated that we weren't rushed. Barnes employee, Kyra, read aloud Two Pete the Cat books. She is incredibly sweet and my daughters took to her very well! They sat through both books! After the reading, we were given some coloring pages to the theme (Pete the Cat), stickers and an ears hat just like his! My kids loved the items and readings. Another employee also handed out some small refresher cups so we could have a little drink treat. The reading, themed coloring pages and stickers were all free. My kids really enjoyed it! I did too! I never heard of the books and they're pretty cute to read! After our reading, we walked around and looked at books and items they had. We spent an easy 2 hours here before realizing their nap time was coming up fast lol. But the whole place was organized, clean and tidy. Nothing seemed out of place and everyone greeted us as we walked by. The bathrooms were also clean and nothing was on the floor. The pricing of the items and books are a bit pricy but they usually have sales that they have to make it worth it! My mom used to bring my sisters and I to this location when we were all younger for story time too and it's so nice to bring my own kids here as well. Bittersweet. Sad I'm not young anymore lol but happy I get to enjoy with my own kids :) read more

This is the B&N I usually go to. Staff is usually nice and helpful. But I've noticed that the rest rooms are not being regularly checked or cleaned. Especially today, trash bin overflowing and trash the floor. Graffiti on the wall. And the toilets had not been flushed. I realize bad customers are responsible for making this mess, but please have staff check and clean more carefully often. Please do better. read more

Very happy with our visit. Same positive experience whenever we visit Barnes And Nobles. this time the check out clerk introduced our son to their summer reading program. My son loves reading and we are so glad that we got the info to encourage him to read more and keep track of the readings. He also gets to write down why he likes those he read. Two of the female opening workers today are absolutely awful. There was a line of people waiting for a release and they knew as they passed by everyone AN HOUR before they even opened. Didn't even ask or let us know what we were waiting for. They opened the doors and snickered at everyone as they KNEW they didn't have what we were all waiting for. Just plain evil how they laughed and giggled at how they wasted our time. The least you can do as a decent human being is be caring and not be rude. So lame. The store has a nice vibe and I especially like the vinyl section in the back. The layout is nice, although the cafe and the men's restroom are always filthy. It makes me sometimes avoid coming here because I know I may need to use the restroom but I don't want to deal with how dirty it is. The lighting in there is dim, and the toilet paper and soap are always out too. I like the store, but they seriously need to step it up on providing clean spaces for customers to enjoy read more

Had a unpleasant interaction with the manager Lana. We in the store just like we usually are even week. My son had finished a water bottle and was looking for trash can to toss the trash like the decent human beings we are. However it was the end of the world when we attempted to discard the empty bottle in the trashcan at the check out desk. We were rudely told that's not a trashcan when clearly it was. So we had to hunt down a trashcan to discard the recycle bottle. It was her demeanor on the situation. Even the cashier was shocked of such thing. The trashcan clearly had all kinds of trash because I was there about to dispose of the bottle. My son first walked around looking for another trashcan but found none so I told him I would toss it and she even raised her tone when telling me. How rude are you to act to a customer in such way. Seriously over a disposal of an empty water bottle. Lana what ever issues you got in life dont take it out on your customers. Even spur cashier said "thats what we deal with". Correct your personal issues we could've been rude but we chose otherwise. read more

The two female employees that had a key to open the store (probably managers) let more than 10 people sit in front of the store for a release date product. We waited for 2 hours. When one of them finally let us in, we all found out they had none of the new product in stock. Usually that would be whatever and just a bummer but it was the way she said "they're leaving" a with a giggle over her little mic to other employees and then the other woman in middle help desk area started giggling too. Like, we're already all bummed and wasted our time. The least they can do is be neutral in the situation. Manager named "Tess" was being rude and unfair towards one of the employees. Also the bathrooms there were disgusting. When I walked in the smell alone almost made me lose my lunch. It had sticky floors, toilet paper all over the floor, clogged / "out of order" signs on almost every stall. And disgusting dirt and grime lodged into every nook and cranny you could find. I also overheard from one of the employees that there's a sewage leak in there that the city does nothing about. Prices are also higher than they need to be their dvd section is definitely lacking. Let me count the ways...! 1) They have a fine selection of books. 2) They have an excellent selection of connoisseur board games. 3) They have an awesome vinyl selection! 4) The coffee and pastries are very good. 5) Before COVID, there was ample seating to spend two hours sitting and deciding on purchases. 6) B&N Membership (and occasional coupons) make buying easier. 7) They had, and still have, a wonderful selection of puzzles (puzzles got my family through the first month or so of COVID quarantining). 8) That new book smell... You can't get that during online shopping! 9) What a great way to cap a date night with the wifey! 10) Purchasing books with humans... priceless. You, the reader, might be wondering about what makes Corona's Barnes & Noble special... Honestly, I have experienced the same level of service and selection at other Barnes & Nobles, but Corona is my hometown and we need ONE bookstore to survive here. As it is, the Corona Crossings seems to be dying a slow, agonizing death as store after store closes (with the exception of Sportsman's Warehouse, which opened recently). We have to support our local book stores, even the large chain ones like Barnes & Noble. The Corona one will always have a special place in my heart. This review is for the Barnes and Noble Cafe, the Starbucks inside B/N. This a poor imitation of a real Starbucks. Very limited menu, very poor customer service, and they don't accept or give rewards points for a purchase. We ordered two drinks, a sandwich, and a scone. One of the drinks had to be made three times before getting it correct, and even after that, it wasn't really quite correct but we took it anyway. The sandwich was overcooked and the scone was never delivered. We got our money back on the scone. Bottom line... don't expect much from this wannabe Starbucks. read more

I don't frequent Barnes & Noble but when I do, it's usually for a gift. It's a nice and clean location that I enjoy when I go. My last visit was a little odd though. I remembered Starbucks being inside so when I was at Best Buy next door, I went on my Starbucks app to place an order thinking I could pick it up while I'm inside about to shop. I told the barista that I was picking up an online order and she put her hands up in the air and said "I don't have any online orders. I'm Barnes & Noble. I'm Barnes & Noble." At this point, I was confused and slightly amused like wth did she just say? She had this piercing look in her eyes like she wanted to snatch my soul so I checked my phone and realized I ordered from the nearby Starbucks. Totally my fault and oversight but her reaction was unprofessional and confusing. How hard is it to say, oh we're not Starbucks anymore. Repeating "I'm Barnes & Noble" was like a Twilight Zone episode. I'm a little scared to return. read more

This was a nice place before the Lockdown. We always went on either a Friday night or Saturday usually after a very busy day. Now the don't want you in there at all unless your buying their coffee or a book/Magazine. They shut the bathrooms 30+ minutes before closing. They close at least 2 hours earlier than before and have 1 tide lady that will tell you after asking to open bathroom to go down the street to a restaurant witch you know they want you to purchase food to go in! I also noticed in past 2 years or so how unfairly they treat our President in their choice of books/Magazines and totally kiss ass to any Democrats.((Censorship at its best))! I bought a book here that my mom was an author and she never got any $ from sale of that book. Won't be coming back here again!!! read more

Sorry Regional I went to the Barnes & Noble at the Tyler mall, they didn't have the book I wanted and they didn't offer to help me. So I called the Corona store. They didn't have the book I wanted, but they did offer to order it for me, so bonus points for being helpful The book arrives sooner than I expected. I got a phone call. I came down and picked it up in a couple of days when I arrived there wasn't one person behind any counters so I called the store while I'm standing in the store and then I got put on hold for five minutes and no one ever answered , then some other people came to buy books so she finally came to the register. I'm in assistant for a doctor and running errands is nice, but I am expected to get things done in a certain amount of time made the mistake of coming over to the Starbucks as one employee and they don't take the Starbucks app now I'm sitting and waiting for a drink but I don't think I want to break anyways so it is what it is. Overall, I can't see how this place is staying in business it's basically a library. read more

Me and the wife use to love coming in here every other Friday or sat. Evening . Drinking some coffee and maybe a pastry. Buy a book or magazine and relax. Ever since Covid, the workers there got less friendlier, rushing people and for quite some time let you order inside but kicked you out after your purchase. Don't think we will ever come back. P.s. Came into this location with a friend of mine to pick up a book I've been looking for. When we went to the section to look for my book we noticed only the large print was available. She decided to ask an employee if they happened to have a "smaller print" version and she was immediately met with a rude and unkind demeanor from Lana. Another employee jumped in to help my friend look for the book on the table for me. My friend then decided to wait off to the side while I used the restroom. Lana then proceeded to talk badly about the interaction of my friend asking a simple question. Typical mean girl behavior. I cannot believe that this is the kind of customer service given by my local bookstore let alone a Barnes and noble. I went to this location today with my two young children and my toddler had an absolute meltdown in line. Olivia went out of her way to help calm her nerves with me, instead of adding to my pressure. She shared how she and her family practice gentle parenting with her nieces, as she could sense that I (try to!) do as well. Then there was a technical issue at the register and she called her manager Heather over, who was also incredibly kind and apologetic. I felt so bad to have made them work through it with my off-and-on raging toddler but was so grateful for their genuine humanity and kindness. read more

Why should I pay full price for any book? Honestly, I buy most reading material through Amazon.com. But Barnes & Noble has its place as well. There is a wonderland that they call the Children's Section. My grandson loves coming here to play with the toys, look at the displays, and appreciate the picture books. And of course, Grandma loves to read to him, so screening the books firsthand is a necessary evil. They also have storytime, where children can cozy up and get read something cute by a storyteller. I like that. B&N is where I pick up books I have to have in a hurry. It is also where I find stuff other than books, CD's, trinkets and paraphernalia, gift-like in nature, and really cool cards. There is even a coffee café, a great enhancement tool for the avid bookworm. This is still a great place to visit, even if you do not intend to buy. read more

Once upon time you can walk into a bookstore and find the book that you want. Unfortunately because times are a changing, and so are the demands of customers, a random book about classical feng shui needs to be researched on availability online. Unfortunately, I was too impatient to wait for an online order to arrive so I decided to find a store that was available. This store was the closest to me so I went to it and explored the area. It's well stocked and organized, the store is clean, the staff is pretty helpful except for the random sour puss who manned the register. Café is nice and big and the random toys spread around were a cute touch. All in all, nice place to reminisce. read more

It's the only location that has a summary typed up nicely and includes the genre and a few similarities to give the reader an idea of what the book is like.
