Where do I begin? This location overbooks and makes you wait too long for a scheduled appointment. I was given a prescription I believe had a typo as new glasses by Costco made my vision blurry. Tried making appt with Barnet Dulaney Perkins to correct this prescription and was told the Dr was not available for 2 months. Told them the eye test wasn't even performed by the Dr. They still insisted that the appt needed to be scheduled with her. I decided instead to have a new eye test done at Costco. I didn't want to wait 2 months for corrected lenses. The Costco Dr did change the original prescription and they will also change out the lenses at no charge. Thank you Costco! Barnet Dulaney Perkins, you have lost my business. And btw, I called and cancelled the appt set for Oct as it is no longer needed. I was told I would receive an email confirming the cancellation. I DID NOT RECEIVE! I called the following day and was told it DOES show cancelled in the system and requested an email stating that. I DID NOT RECEIVE! What I did receive from you today is an email that says "SIGN IN FOR NEW INFORMATION". It says appointment for Oct 16 Status-Booked. Should I assume this appointment I have cancelled and tried confirming cancellation twice now is still on the books? That was rhetorical. I'll call AGAIN on Monday. read more

I'm at the Mesa office on Baseline, they have the self check in kiosks, so I guess that means that they don't need to greet me? i stood by the front desk because I was having trouble checking in, but they just carried on their conversations. Also, trying to get a surgical correction on a previous surgery I had here. I have called repeatedly, no return calls from the office that did my surgery. My pcp just re referred me back to them, hopefully now I can get it corrected. read more

A totally 5 star experience! I had appointments at the Mesa Baseline office and two cataract surgeries (most recent yesterday) at the Mesa Highley/Southern facility. Huge compliments to the staff at both locations! Friendly and efficient. On surgery days everything was explained as they moved along with the process and frequently checked on me and asked if I needed anything. I would highly recommend Dr. Amacher. He initially explained my options and what the procedures would entail. He was great during the procedures-- each was done in probably 10 minutes and that included both the laser process and then cataract removal/lens replacement. Discharge and follow up instructions were thoroughly explained. Again, all I can say is that this, for me, was a 5 star experience (considering, after all, it WAS surgery). :0) Thank you! read more

What began as a negative experience, has turned into a VERY POSITIVE experience. I have very bad cataracts. Barnet Dulaney Perkins was highly recommended to me. I've had to encounter several appointments prior to my surgery date. The entire staff at 22nd Street has been extremely nice and professional. That is with the exception for one person within the Center who made me feel uncomfortable, This caused me to cancel my appointments and surgery. Without going into details of what transpired between us, I called the front desk to cancel any further appointments as well as my surgery. Whomever it was that answered my call that day, she did EVERYTHING right! I explained what I went through and how upset I was. When she saw that my surgery date was the following week, she seemed a little concerned. Within 15 minutes I got a call from a gentlemen I had already met, Thomas Davis. Aside of his calm and grace, he was EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL! He wanted me to tell him what transpired amongst myself and a Counselor. Before talking with Thomas, I was not going to come back to this Eye Center. It was a Friday we spoke and after speaking with Thomas, I felt alot better. His closing words were he'd give me the weekend to decide if I'd cancel my last appointment and surgery. I'm thankful he allowed me the weekend to think things through and talk with my husband. I do still feel the Counselor they placed me with should not be placed in that position. Customer Service is extremely important in her position. Looking at customers in the eye, speaking nicely and allowing customers the time to read what they are signing is imperative. I did change my mind after finding out Loric Lenses are NOT COVERED by Insurance.I do not have the money for them and they are 2850 per eye. Financing them would put me over $7000. Because they cannot guarantee 100% perfection from them, I don't need them. If someone cannot afford them, you don't make them feel badly for their decision. If there was a Thomas Davis for every Counselors position, i believe Barnet Dulaney Perkins wouldn't have any problems. Unless I'm wrong, the clients that need to get surgery are already nervous. I'm a wreck! Nervous because I've never had surgery. I will be placed under anesthesia (a mild one where your still slightly awake), but none-the-less, i'm nervous. Afterall, it's your eyes. In closing, I want to mention that I've had several appointments. I've met several different employees. A rough count of 9. They were professional and made me feel comfortable. If it weren't for the gal that answered my call, I wouldn't have changed my mind that YES, I'M GOING TO HAVE SURGERY HERE (October 10th) and I'm sure I will receive the best care possible. I want to pay my office visit bill. It came in the mail last week. They offer 2 ways to pay 1. their website good eyes.com. It needs a taken from someone to create a new patient file. Called- they advised I should come back in to see a counter person. 2. Call billing dept- I called and asked how to create a new patient file to be able to pay on line? I've been using these eye doctors for at least 10 yrs. I've had nothing but excellent service from them for my eyes. I had cataract surgery done there with no problems. I'm on Medicare now, and Medicare allows for a once yearly eye examination. I've used them every year and I have complete confidence in their ability to spot and head off any emerging issues coming with my eyes. I'd strongly advise you put these excellent physicians on your medical team. It's rare that I have a 100% confidence rating on any service I use. This one is worthy of that 5 star rating. read more

Dr. Graff is amazing to say the least. I am 31 years old healthy, no underlying conditions to cause the issues I am having. While having covid I lost vision in my left eye I went to my local american vision office and was referred to Dr. Graff. While seeing Dr. Graff I was informed that I had a Retinal Artery Occlusion (a blood clot in my eye/eye stroke). Dr. Graff acted fast and sees me every four weeks for injections to help restore as much of my vision back as possible. He takes the time to evaluate my situation each time I go in the office and is constantly changing our plan of action to ensure I am getting the best possible treatment. I am so grateful for Dr Graff, Jose, and the awesome staff at Barnett, Delaney Perkins. I came in to his office after having an eye stroke in my left eye. I had never heard of an eye stroke. All I could think was I will be blind in my left eye forever from my research there were no guarantees I could get my eyesight back. Then I called Barnett, Delaney Perkins and I met Dr Graff he had an opening for an eye study for my condition. I was of course apprehensive but dr. Graff explained the benefits and risks and I was excited that this would be a perfect fit for my condition. All I can say is the improvement has been way beyond belief. I am still only 1/4 through the eye study and am getting better each treatment. Dr. Barnet did my lasix surgery many years ago. This visit fell very short. The techs seemed knowledgeable enough yet Dr. Kietzrow was quite cold and I felt pretty unimportant. I am concerned about my severe dry eyes in relation to the prior lasix and other issues that I have that could be contributing to my diminished vision and dryness...not even a mention or question about my concerns. She seems very snobby and simply said "oh you would have to go to our dry eye clinic"... At that point I ask myself why was I even here then but I decided to cut my losses. There are multiple locations of this business and multiple eye doctors. I went to the Mesa location for a yearly eye exam and was pleased with my experience. It seems like it gets very busy, my appointment was one of the first although I still waited 20-25 minutes until I was taken back (I guess waiting is just part of going to any medical office). I was impressed with the technician, she was friendly and did a decent job at explaining what she was doing and why. I saw Jared Anderson OD, he was very personable and helpful. For the short time I spent with him I would most likely go back based on the first impression. They don't do contacts at this location just glasses prescriptions and they are lacking in their frame choices. You can schedule an appointment online, fill out all the paperwork they need as a new patient and I really like that. They have kiosks at the front for people to check in... first time I've seen this but is not a surprising trend. My experience here was just fine but with the amount of patients they see there are bound to be negative comments along the way. My advice is to check out their website and see if this place offers what you are looking for because they do offer plenty of services even if it is at a location other than the Mesa office. I wrote this review because the review I saw for the Phoenix location, I just crossed my fingers hoping the good review carried over to other locations. read more

No waiting when I arrived for my appointment. Within 5 minutes I was in the first exam room. The exam was through and extensive. Office personnel and exam techs were very courteous.
