The insanely good breakfast quiche
Andi P.

5 Star update for solid coffee and a great breakfast sandwich! It's been a minute since I've been here and I've been missing out! A server came right up to our table inside and took our order. He was super friendly and suggested the breakfast sandwich. When it came I was blown away- it was big and was exactly what I hoped for. I also got a cortado and it was perfect. I love that they have many seating options- inside, out front, and in the outdoor patio out back (a little hidden oasis). On a good spring or fall day, it's a truly magical spot to enjoy Winter Park. Though the parking is mostly on-street, I've never gone long without finding a convenient spot. Weekends are hectic, but this is a really solid option for meetings during the week. Highly recommend!

This place was such great place to go to after a Sunday walk. It gets really busy on the weekends from what I can tell. I love the little courtyard area this location is in. It's cute and quaint. The inside is on the smaller side but they do also have outdoor seating available, which is where we sat. Their menu is pretty standard. The latte was smooth and creamy and the breakfast I ordered cooked the egg just how I liked it. I'd love to be able to go there again and try another menu item and coffee concoction. All in all it was a great day with great company.

We went to grab coffee and pastries at Barnie's. I got the Santa's White Christmas latte which tasted so festive and I also tried the chocolate croissant. The vibe was cozy for an early morning and a great way to start the day.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast outdoors at this charming restaurant, taking in the beautiful weather. It was a chilly morning so I ordered a chai latte. It was delicious and it perfectly satisfied my cinnamon cravings. The menu here offered plenty of healthy options, which fit our dietary preferences. My breakfast was simple yet satisfying: scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, sliced avocado, and fresh tomatoes. The flavors and portion size were just right. After my wedding, I want to go back and order their French toast! The service was attentive, friendly, and prompt. Overall, wonderful breakfast experience, great location and would definitely recommend this spot!

Whenever I'm in winter park and want breakfast without the actual restaurant hassle my husband and I always make a stop at Barnies! The indoor seating is nice during hotter days but during the cooler months we love sitting in the back or side outdoor space near the beautiful fountain! I'm a sucker for their iced chai latte and we almost always split the breakfast burrito sub the chorizo for bacon cooked crispy! It's honestly one of the better breakfast burritos around! Service is great too just grab a seat and they'll come back with a menu!

First time visiting Barnie's Coffee shop. Customer service was great and quick since there was a really long line on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I ordered Santa White Christmas cold brews and we enjoyed them very much. It tasted like Christmas in a cup! Establishment is small and cute, just what you would expect in Winter Park. This coffee shop is great to grab a coffee and go walk around Park Avenue. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Receipt for Turkish coffee - be warned, the menu is not up to date

Coffee is fine, I'm always a fan of trying to support smaller local businesses when I can. I haven't eaten here before but I'll pop in for a coffee from time to time. I went this weekend and decided to try the Turkish coffee. At the register I was charged an extra $.50 for "Turkish flavor" even though the menu clearly had what I would call an inclusive pricing for the Turkish coffee. I brought it up because I figured it was a simple entry error on the register but after a few minutes of back and forth (and trying to not make so much of a fuss but more bring up the logic of what is displayed on the menu vs what I was being charged) one of the staffers said "oh yeah, they haven't updated the menu yet. We keep asking them to do that but it hasn't happened". So I guess it's up to the customer to make sure what is on the menu is actually what you should expect to be charged? Look, especially now, I think we all can completely understand price volatility and things can change pretty quickly. My suggestion to management is a) inform ALL your staffers that there could be some discrepancies between the menu and what's on the register so we all don't get frustrated with a back and forth of this vs that and b) maybe put up some sign or label or something somewhere saying that prices may require adjustment. Give people a heads up. Had I known about this non updated menu issue I would have just ordered a plain drip coffee in the hopes that something simple like that would have been priced accurately. Anyway, it won't stop me from going here but it will make me a more cautious customer.

I had breakfast at Barnie's and loved it. I ordered the Santa's White Christmas latte and the avocado toast. Both were flavorful and fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great morning. My friends and I sat on the patio for a while catching up. No one rushed us or made us feel like we needed to leave. The space looked beautiful and felt peaceful. There were a lot of bees around, but there are many flowers on the patio. The bees did not bother me at all. They were part of the setting. I recommend Barnie's if you want good food and a relaxed place to spend time.

Exploring Park Ave and found this perfect coffee spot, that also perfectly served breakfast. The prices are a bit on the higher side but the food was large portions and delicious. I ordered the eggs your way over easy with sourdough toast and roasted potatoes. The sourdough toast was perfectly buttered and had a great crunch. The roasted potatoes needed a tiny bit more salt but were flavorful and cooked to perfection. My nitro cold brew was perfect as it was ice cold and our server added a nice lavender flavor to it. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito and could not get over the size and how filling it was. The inside and outside were both clean and designed well. We opted for inside because it was a bit too hot outside. Service was quick and the food is delicious.

The seasonal Christmas latte is one of the best lattes I've ever had. The service was good and my egg platter came out quick and was simple and delicious. I appreciate it when the tomatoes are fresh and the fruit is fresh and not mushy! Cute place!

Breakfast Burrito, Santa's White Christmas Latte

Love this place. Winter Park is an awesome little town and this spot is perfect for breakfast. I got a latte with Santa's White Chocolate flavoring, their seasonal special. It was so good I bought their k-cup coffee to go. I ate the chorizo breakfast burrito which was also bomb. The green verde sauce or whatever it was also amazing. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful.

What's the lumber jack coffee?

It is a mix of espresso, some syrup and other stuff. The employee we talked to didnt recommend it.

Do you order and sit down or is there table side service?

There is table side service until 3pm, and then we switch to order at the counter and seat yourself.

How much is the pricing here?

Great price range here! It seems to be less than Starbucks for me, and coffee is much better ?

Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.

We wandered just off the main downtown strip and stumbled into this little gem. Immediate warm welcome, which I always appreciate, especially when I'm in a post-meal haze. Then I saw the pastry case... and wow. It was one of those moments where you genuinely consider making poor financial and dietary decisions just to try everything. The croissants alone? Massive. I'm talking oversized, beautifully layered, stuffed with different fillings and topped like they're competing for a prize. A younger, more reckless version of me would've ordered at least three without hesitation. My only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that everything is so big. I wish they had mini versions--like a tasting lineup--because I wanted to try everything but also didn't want to commit to a full-size pastry I knew I couldn't finish. Shoutout to the people who can, though. I respect you. I kept it simple with a cappuccino plus an extra shot (non-negotiable at that point), and it was exactly what I needed. Bonus points for the service--they actually brought it out to the table, which felt like a small but appreciated touch.
