Of all of the wineries we've visited I would say this was my least favorite. The owner/manager was the best part so I've got to give him props for that. The sommelier/bartender was the worst so uninterested! We sat there for several minutes like 10-20 before she even acknowledged our presence however another couple was seated after us and she took care of them, she would barely take the time to answer any questions I had about the wines and she was just plane unfriendly and kind of rude! I do understand they were busy but she was just outright rude. We killed her with kindness in hopes that she would be nice to the next group after us.

Baroda Wine Cellar was the 2nd stop on our tour. This is where we got a chance to just sit and enjoy our 5 selections of wine and enjoy a nice lunch. We were paired off into 2 groups. Group A went off to enjoy a mini tour and Group B stayed to enjoy the nice wine & lunch. The staff was friendly and ready to serve us. Very Welcoming and Inviting. The funny labels of their wines stood out the most to me. O Hell Yeah Red Wine was amazing. The lunch selection of 2 different chicken, salad, pasta and some delicious dessert. This was one of my favorite wine cellars of the whole tour. Great Service and awesome and fun experience. They had these two cute saddles and variety of cowboy hats that you could try on and take some fun pics.

$8 for five tastings. Good value but the only wine I liked was the Seyval. I didn't even take the last tasting, the wines were overly sweet and that's not my thing. Understaffed for a Saturday

2011 Vidal Blanc Select Sweet Harvest, pretty good!

A nice all around winery in Baroda. Huge amount of choices and pretty happy with everything. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely a reoccurring stop on our random wine tours! We were lucky enough to walk out and catch a awesome small town parade and flag raising. Kinda felt like Mayberry. What a great way to celebrate the 4th

This is my least favorite winery in the SW Michigan trail. Confirming what the other reviewers state, it looks like a garage instead of the other wineries which are tucked away within the vineyard. They had two servers and were not super crowded but it took the server a while to get us our first pours so we moved to the other side to another server to get some quicker server. As we requested the wines, the server just poured, no real explanation. I can't even recall any wines that stood out to me which says something about their wine. For $5 you get 5 pours ( or maybe 4) and 2 pours of their chocolate dessert wine. I love chocolate and I love wine but blech! on those chocolate wines. I wasn't a fan. If time is tight on your wine schedule, I'd pass this place up.

Not the winery but the wine branch in St Joseph, MI; walking distance from the beach. It was pretty spacious with many seats. They did have reservations for a few bachorellete parties. Only 2 winetenders but kept a good rhythm between all customers. We were able to redeem a groupon here for wine tasting for 2. This includes 5 of your choices, moving dry to sweet, and then they give 2 additional sweet/dessert wines. They pour the sample, tell you about the wine, and then leave the bottle there for you to see. (pics included). The chambourcin was the most memorable dry red because it was flavorful; the other 2 were just dry and could not appreciate much flavor. The traminette was the best sweet wine, packed full of flavor and sweetness as its described. Was not overly impressed with the oh hell yeah sweet red but was glad to try it since it seems to be a local favorite. The 2 dessert/sweet wines were good. Sweet as expected, so it was good for a small quantity. They gave little pretzel sticks to snack on in between so that was good. It was weird that they did not rinse the glass in between pours so minor mixing of flavors but not that of a big deal. Overall, fun experience. Next visit would be at the winery in Baroda, MI.

    Cute little tasting room!

They have a tasting room in the heart of downtown Saint Jospeh! It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. This was our first stop on our mini winery tour. There are a few other tasting rooms near Baroda, so it was fun to hop around from place to place. It costs $8 for five tastings, but you really get 7 total! Everyone gets to taste their two dessert wines. Meghan was an excellent server and pushed us to step out of our comfort zone. She had us give their Chardonnay a try, and it ended up being one of my favorite wines there! They serve butter pretzels to snack on and cleanse your palate between servings! The wines are tasty, and the tasting pours are solid! You definitely get your money's worth here!

Service was not the best but when she did serve us, she was super friendly. I think she was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people in the establishment. 8 bucks for a tasting. Average for the area. But you get 7 here instead of 5 like most. 2 bonus!! Woot woot!! The best dry wine here is the 2016 Chambourcin. It's a solid choice if your coming in for just a glass. Not get the tasting because it's a better bang for your buck!

Friendly staff serves wine tastes at a comfortable bar.

We didn't have to try and figure out directions and we could drink all the wine. We had 3 tastings and a lunch over the course of a few hours. Our Driver, Bill, was so sweet and shared so much information about grapes, wine, and local knowledge. He called that morning to check in and met us promptly at 10:45. The SUV was roomy and clean and he even had bottles of water on ice ready to go. Which we definitely needed after a few wine stops. Coming into it, I knew nothing about wine and I'm not even sure I knew Michigan had so many wineries and vineyards. Now I feel like I have a good amount of knowledge about wine and I figured out what I liked best. It was a very cool experience and my friend had a great bachelorette party.
