Love this place! I drive thru to get a cappuccino on my way to work every morning. The staff is always friendly, kind, and cheerful, and their coffee tastes great and had quite a bit of a caffeine kick. The atmosphere inside the place is nice and comfortable. I love this place, I used to go here once a week in high school with my mom to discuss how things were going. Now I like to go here on dates. The drinks and baked goods are really delicious. The atmosphere is really pleasant inside, but personally I love sitting outside when it's warm enough, with a vanilla chai freeze. When it isn't I recommend getting a killer caramel latte. Those are my favorites anyways. read more

My favorite local place to get coffee! Something about their Latte flavor just appeals to me, and I prefer to support local businesses rather than chains. It's right around the corner from my house so I drive thru frequently, especially in the colder months. I've only ever had my drink made wrong once (no vanilla syrup in a vanilla latte) but I wish there was a bit more consistency with the person working the window. Minor gripe though, as I still love their coffee and will return repeatedly! read more

I am only reviewing the coffee. I have not been to their location- they have a stand at the richland farmers market on Fridays. I ordered a cold brew coffee with half vanilla and half hazelnut and a splash of cream. It tasted like regular cold coffee watered down. No flavor. I'm hoping it was an error. We're planning to give their main location a try and get something different next time. read more

Love this place! The BEST cappuccino I've ever had! Excellent size options. Friendly staff. It can get quite loud in there at times which doesn't make it the best place to focus, study, write, or even visit with a friend, but this is not the staff's fault. Just a tip to make visitors aware in the event that they're looking for a quiet place. My only suggestion would be to build additional locations! read more

I really love Barracuda Coffee. I've been buying coffee here since high school. Their spiced chai freeze is my absolute favorite drink there, followed up by their fruit smoothies. They are one of the few more expensive coffee places locally that are actually worth the price. The baristas are very friendly and good at their jobs. I've never had any issues here, other than someone putting two lids on once and a few improperly fastened lids. read more

The coffee is great, the staff is fast and friendly, and the crowd is fun. They definitely play to the sugar-ist vs the purist, so don't go to sip a doppio. Stick to an iced brew or drip if you aren't looping for a mocha sugar bomb. read more

This place is by far the most expensive coffee place I have been to. My 24oz iced Carmel macchiato is $6.09 after tax. I love these guys! Jake, Michelle, Chrisy and the rest of the gang are so cool! Every neighborhood coffee shop should strive to be even half as awesome as Barracuda Coffee! It's a little bit further out of the way of my normal commute in the morning than other shops, but worth the extra 5-10 minutes to stop in and get some great coffee and visit with friends! I live in Seattle but visit family in Richland......family that live a couple blocks away from Barracuda. Barracuda has the best coffee I have EVER tasted. The drip is.....rich, oily, mellow, deep, in short, what you dream coffee should be. You'll be payin' for it, too. $2 for an 8 oz. cup of drip? That's more than I've ever paid for a cup of drip in Seattle--okay, you're in Richland--fix the price! Dang! Also, if I use my own cup...I expect a discount. I tried to order a cappuccino once.....I got a latte. Filled to within an inch of the lid with liquid--I'm callin' it a latte. I went back and asked for a cappuccino--I got exactly the same thing. C'mon now! Show me your barista chops. Still, you get 4 stars for having the best coffee EVER. P.S. Then go next door for Ashley's donuts. O.....my. You cannot go wrong there. read more

Wow, what a cool little place! It may be small but they sure have a following. I spent 4 hours working on some stuff as I watched customer after customer enter. It amazed me the amount of the customers they knew- I'd say 95%. The decor, music and overall feel inside was nice. They also have outdoor seating with outlets available! I ordered a sugar free hazelnut latte and I think it was the best latte, by far, that I have EVER had in my life. After sitting for a few hours, I decided to try a smoothie- I was suggested to try the peach smoothie with a green tea base--delicious! Barista got upset when she misunderstood my order- 12 oz coffee in a 16 oz cup with 2 add shots. I'm not sure what was so difficult about it. She then told me she should have charged me for the cream I used when I asked for her to refill the empty carafe. It wasn't my fault it was almost empty- I didn't use any more than the average consumer. I've NEVER been told that in a coffee shop, especially after just paying $17 for two drinks and 2 pastries. Weird vibe. Here's hoping the barista's a little more customer oriented for you. read more

Hard to find and horrible hours for insomniacs like myself (or Hanfordites who don't work in town!)... they make some dang good coffee. I usually can't stay away from the Snickers Freeze or whatever it's called.. no coffee but pure yum (let's not talk about the sugar content, k?). Definitely worth a stop and they offer a card which is based on your phone number, so you can lose it without losing your rewards! read more

The woman who took my order was extremely sweet, the place was full of people, and my stumptown coffee was delicious--just black, with two sugars, needed nothing more. I love Barracuda. I moved to the tri-cities last summer, and lamented the fact that I couldn't find good coffee here, and continued to order my beans online, shipped from the east coast. Barracuda (and, honestly, trips to Seattle when I can) put an end to that! I only wish I had found them sooner. I am mostly a straight coffee drinker, and Barracuda doesn't dissapoint. I am not hip to the fancy coffee language, but their coffee makes me think "mmmm tasty, want more". I've only tried their espresso drinks a time or two, but the baristas can make a mean latte and the Hemi? It's kind of like crack. It may leave you wired on caffeine and sugar for the next 8 hours, but my it's tasty. I don't think they are expensive, they are priced right for what they are serving. If you want cheap (and bad) coffee, this is not the place for you. The only two things I would hope to change about this place? 1 -Location. It's super inconvenient for me (yet, I still go...), I wish they were in a more central location. 2 - their snacks. They leave A LOT to be desired. But hey, they are are coffee shop, not a bakery. But some mornings, there is nothing sadder than having a delicious cup of coffee, and having to open cellophane (yikes) to get to a scone that is too dry and factory-flavored. No thanks. Overall? Barracuda is the best coffee shop in the area. read more

We find this place to be a great neighborhood style coffee shop and gathering spot. Great coffee and friendly folks. Free WiFi. Nice outdoor seating for the sunny days. Through my moves and travelling I've (unfortunately) gotten so use to getting let down and disappointed by coffee shops that are hailed as way better than they are by the locals. Burnt coffee or way too dark roasted espresso is one of my biggest peeves. I hate smelling the aroma of what I hope is this delicious little treat and then getting a sip of this bitter, nastiness. THANK GOD Barracuda's surprised me and proved me wrong!! It's too rare that I taste coffee from a shop and find it so wonderful as I did my vanilla latte from here. I got it and a poppyseed muffin. The muffin was pretty alright, but I know they are not done in house so I wont bother reviewing those... it was good though. But the coffee.... oh that scrumptious little cup of goodness! Normally I have to tell whomever is making my latte to only heat it to 130* (most heat to 160*-180*) the guy who made heated it to the perfect temp. After I finished my muffin I went to my car to leave and had my first sip of the latte... I literally went "mmm, delightful!" aloud to myself. This little shop has cute decor (gets it's name from the classic muscle car -also a fan of this.) It's got a very modern vibe and accents that most might not notice but there is a clock made of gears... It was a nice, cute touch. The shop is pretty small but there seems to be enough seating even though I've only ever seen this place hopping busy. While it is a tad out of my way, any time I'm out and about and want coffee I'll be sure and continue to frequent Barracuda Coffee Co. read more
