The lamb chops ought to die for and a duck is just absolutely succulent amazing. It is my father the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had in my entire life anywhere. What a great find. The reviews on Yelp were very helpful. When we pulled in I wasn't sure what to expect, from the outside it doesn't say this is the place. But, once you walk in the place is really cool. The food was excellent and the portions were shareable to say the least. The edamame and calamari was delicious. We shared the seafood special and they plated it individually for us. Be sure to ask about off menu items, there were a lot. We were the last table on a drizzly Tuesday night. We got a late start and wanted local seafood and it was only one of a handful that was open later than 9 PM. Service was mid. Although there seemed to only be one server, there were only three other tables and they were finishing up their meals when we arrived. Very good, but not outstanding food served in large quantities. Great value in comparison to other sit down restaurants on Marathon. The fish here is better than anything I get back at home. But, after a week of eating yellowtail snapper at different places, I found this dinner credible and not the best. If I came here first, I may have given a fifth star. Food here is always extremely tasty and fresh! Their peppercorn garlic salad dressing should be bottled and sold! My husband usually has the hot (spicy)calamari & shrimp ! I'm truly surprised that the ratings for this restaurant are so high. We were in Marathon an entire week. We drove by this place several times and there was never anyone in there. One night, it was late and we were out of dining options, so we stopped in for dinner to give it a try. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The salad was fine, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the pesto pasta with vegetables, and it was way below par. The vegetables were onion, red pepper and I believe green pepper with macaroni! My husband ordered fish, and it came with mashed potatoes smothered in butter. The fish was breaded and seemed to be previously frozen. To top it off, the meal was not inexpensive. There are a lot of better options for dinner in Marathon! read more

Pleasantly surprised! Been to Marathon a few times over years and always drove by this place. Always looked empty. Stopped in Labor Day night as they were one of the few open. There were a few people there. We sat outside. One of the specials was a 18oz cowboy steak..went for it. Little over cooked. Ordered medium. I suggest medium rare. But damn it was good. Easy stop on the Hwy to Key West; our lunch was relaxed and good! We enjoyed the excellent Seafood Quesadillas with a daily special of Raspberry Salad (fresh greens) with Blackened Hogfish. Both choices were tasty, and the Seafood Quesadilla could've been paired with Shrimp Tacos for a tapas-style cornucopia of seafood for two! We made a random stop for lunch at the Barracuda Grill while driving from Key West to Miami. Don't be fooled by the unassuming appearance of the building! This was some of the best food we ate in the Keys. My wife was debating the fresh catch sandwich. Our helpful waitress let her know that the seafood just arrived 15 minutes earlier, so she ordered the grouper sandwich. The fish was enormous and hung far outside of the bun. She said it was delicious and the best fish she had in quite a long time. I ordered the BLT (I know, how exciting), but was also surprised. It had a generous portion of thick cut bacon. Both sandwiches came with their homemade fries. They are thick cut and look like they ran the potatoes through an apple corer. You won't be disappointed! read more

Not nearly as good as they charged. We don't mind paying top dollar for a nice meal out, but this wasn't it. My husband and I pulled in for an 8pm-ish dinner. There were plenty of open tables. Others arriving later ordered before us. The menu seemed limited/expensive for what was offered. We spent $65 on spaghetti and meatballs (he said it was good), and "shrimp scampi" that had tomato SAUCE mixed in (the menu gave the impression that perhaps there were *some* diced tomatoes). Never seen tom sauce in ANY scampi recipe. I basically had linguini w tom sauce and plenty of garlic, topped with (agreeably) plenty of shrimp. Canned Parmesan cheese came with the dishes to sprinkle as desired. Side salads with the meal were standard (I think mine had smushed tomatoes in it, but his Caesar was ok). We got 3 small rolls with our salads and were never offered more when our meal came. The server was polite, when she stopped by (we were right by the door to the kitchen). The wine was as expected ($10 for a glass of sauv blanc, again, not asked if I wanted another), and my husband had water. Overall, the food was edible, but my dish was NOT worth $31. His was a bit pricey ($19) for what he got. Skipped the dessert. Wish we had chosen better for our last night in town. read more
