Laid back vibe and deco perfect for a casual night dinner. The Ceviche, oh the Ceviche! So good. We also ordered salads to go along. One salad is large enough for two. Service and seating are great. You get to have a wonderful dinner and watch the Sayulita street scene go by.

Close to the beach. The food is really good. The waiter was very friendly. Not: Cash only

    Molajete

This place deserves a higher rating! The manager Carlos and waiter Daniel took excellent care of us and recommended the Molcajete for two. It was best dinner we have had in Mexico. The presentation and flavors from the complexity of the sauce and ingredients were memorable. And the craft cocktails were also very good at price that didn't bust the budget. Highly recommend this plac

Cash only... so have enough because the food and drinks are good. I got their Jaimaca cocktail and it was tasty. Even their shots came in a cool skull shot glass. For appetizers we got octopus and tuna tostada. I recommend the octopus. It was super good. We also shared the aguachile... a little salty but still had major tart and good pieces of raw shrimp. For our main dinner we shared a Molcajete. It came with 2 shrimps, 2 octopus tentacles, 2 onions, and some meat, and of course tortillas. Enough food for 2 with all the fun appetizers. I wish they accept credit card, if they did we would have ordered more.

Great place for a solid molcajete and seafood tostadas. It's a nice place right in the middle of town and in front of the picturesque narrow roadway with the overhead draping flapper canopy. The service is a bit slow , but food and cocktails were pretty damn good. I'd go back. Cash only.

On a busy street right by the plaza. There's lots of street performers that were entertaining us throughout dinner. I got the zarandeada which was recommended by our waiter. It is their local flavored fish with some type of red sauce. It didn't have much flavor and was a small portion for the price. One friend got their lobster tacos which was also a small portion for the price. Another friend got the fried red snapper which is market price but cheaper than the fish I got and a bigger portion. Two of my other friends got the mocaljete which is a mixture of meat and seafood in a hot stone bowl. The pulpo or octopus was over cooked but the red sauce was delicious! Our waiter was ok and service was kinda slow but the entertainer/street singer was great! Prices are also higher than most places in the area so expect to pay at least 300-500 pesos per person for dinner.

The Fish Shrimp Combination Burrito was great. It just came with very little shrimp like 3 overall and they were small. I believe it was also overpriced.

This place was our first food stop after arriving in Sayulita! We shared a couple of tostadas, tacos, ceviche and got a limonada and pinada as well. The presentation of the food and drinks were really nice! I didn't realize that my pinada drink was more like a smoothie, so it was thick and refreshing. The Peruvian ceviche was alright to me- it was lacking flavor and didn't seem very fresh. The tacos were pretty good, but my favorite were the tostadas! Both the tuna and shrimp versions were delicious and hit the spot. I really wanted to try their aguachile since that is one of my favorite dishes and it looked appetizing when I saw it arrive at the party next to us. I guess I'll have to get it next time!

One of my favorite restaurants in Sayulita! The seafood here is so fresh and the flavors are very light and refreshing. Highly recommend: Tuna sashimi Scallop tostada Fish taco (fried) Shrimp taco (fried) We tried other things but I don't think they were anything memorable/special: Shrimp tostada Shrimp and cheese taco Special marlin taco This place does get packed at night though. When we first tried coming here, the wait was 40min so we went somewhere else. Came back for lunch and was seated right away.

My wife and I stopped here for a few beers and to get out of the sun. We got a table on the sidewalk which was great as there was very little car traffic. Great service and friendly environment. The beers were going down well and we decided to order some food. Best idea of the day. She ordered the fish tacos and the cream of spinach soup and I had the Molcajete. OMG! Everything was fresh and delicious. We'd definitely Italy come back!

Our favorite restaurant In Sayulita! We were in town for three days, and stopped here twice because their food was AMAZING!! Marlin is popular amongst the Sayulita town, and we decided to give the Marlin tostadas a shot. This Marlin was served warm on a crunch tostada da paired with picked onions, avocado lime and more! All of our tostadas were fresh, and they were served with sauces to make your tostadas as spicy/ mild as you wish. The restaurant sits on the strip in front of all the flags in Sayulita, seconds away from the plazita. You get to view all the local vendors and musicians a they walk past you while you dine which really adds for an overall "Mexico" like experience! We can't wait to be back in Sayulita to eat here again!

    La Dama- tropical goodness!
    Fernando A.

My wife and I had an early dinner of ceviche, tacos, and cocktails. The tacos were good. My wife had the "barracuda taco" which was a fried marlin tacos covered with a special salsa topping. She liked it. I had a taco gobenador, which was a fried shrimp taco with cheese, that was also quite good. Their ceviche was good, but not as good s as the one we had next door at Tierra Vida. It was different though, with fish, cucumber, and carrots. My cocktail was very tropical and refreshing. I had La Dama, which had tequila and primarily guava juice. Barracuda is on one of the main streets with lots of restaurants, tourists, performers, etc., so it can get quite loud and busy. It's fairly pricey too, but they take credit cards which is convenient since e we were running out of cash!

The place has a following, so I don't feel bad about giving this review for only three stars (I'm an easy grader). I enjoyed the vibe, and the service was good. The crowd is 60+. Mostly expats. I was underwhelmed and honestly, disappointed by the food, unfortunately. I had very high expectations, given the recommendation. The fare is midwestern US with attempts toward flavor. Believe me I know what I'm talking about because I grew up in a food desert in the American Midwest. It's not Mediterranean. The meats are all undercooked (although they warn you) with liberal use of butter, salt, and cheese throughout. This is like an Olive Garden. I enjoyed my dinner with friends, but won't return unless it's to the cute store.
