Delicious food, amazing variety, awesome beer, and wow for everything else. Did not expect to run into this little gem here, but it impressed us! We had the Lettuce Cups with the steelhead (bomb!!) and the Stinky Rose Frites (to die for!). The lettuce cup ingredients were fresh and paired with amazing sauces. The Frites had garlic confit, blue cheese, roasted rosemary, and was just on point. I can't recommend this place more. Delicious wine, tasty beer, and quality food! Always top notch! Good beer and great service. You may want to share the fries.. They serve big! My wife and I can split a burger and fries and still leave fries on the plate leaving stuffed. After an afternoon of paddle boarding at Battle Ground Lake we stopped in for a drink and appetizer. I had a couple of Ash Clouds and my wife had a rotational cider. Both were very good. Bottom Line: This is the best overall craft beer brewpub in Clark County. It has a unique combination of good craft beer, innovative pub grub and friendly service in a clean, eclectic woodsy decor with an electric (borderline chaotic) atmosphere. It's a little pricey but portion sizes are big and the quality is good. This was my first visit and was greeted by Woody at the bar. Really cool bartender. I ordered the Millie May sandwich with fries ($15) and a Metal Head Red IPA ($6) on Woody's recommendation. Man what a satisfying meal. The andouille sausage was spicy and combined with the slaw... it was to die for. I was hungry and savored every bite. Nom nom nom, so ono. The fries were good too and worth the $2 surcharge. The IPA was good, very smooth and not too hoppy. I really liked this place. North Clark County has a cool country charm and this place is the epitome of the cuisine, culture and people of the area. Kind of stumbled on to this place. It may not look flashy on the outside, but the food and the staff more than make up for this hidden gem. The bartender/waitress was very nice, attentive, courteous and helpful with suggestions and pairings. Food arrived rather quickly and was nice and hot. We both enjoyed our meal here. It was a Friday night and very busy. We were told when we arrived around 640 that it would be 15 to 20 minute wait for a table and we sat at the bar and enjoyed some drinks. When we were finally seated outside, we placed our order. The order took over an hour and 15 minutes. We had to ask the weight staff several times if the food was going to be coming as it was over an hour. After an hour and 15 minutes, we were told it would be seven more minutes. At that point, we had them boxed up to go because we did not want to spend more time waiting. During this over hour long wait, we were never offered any appetizers, they never offered to comp anything off the bill, the only excuse was "well, the grill can't handle the amount of orders when it gets busy, so yeah it's gonna be about an hour". Again, not once were we offered any sort of accommodation. The food was subpar when we finally did get it home. I will not be visiting here again nor will I be recommending it to any visitors looking to try a brewery. This restaurant will not be one we visit again. read more

This place is cute inside. Was shocked how expensive everything ended up being. I get things are inflated right now however the amount of fries they give you is just ridiculous. I never thought I'd be saying you can have too many fries but for sure I would rather have had a quarter of the amount of fries and pay less. Or at least the staff should give a warning on the enormous serving size. I would recommend if you upgrade the fries (yes that's right you have to upgrade to fries on a $16.50 burger) to only upgrade one persons entree. Both my husband and I upgraded to the stinky rose fries and they were good but very rich we could only eat a small amount of what was given. Seems like such a waste of food for what we had to pay for it. The waitress was very friendly. I'm not sure if I'd go here again to be honest. read more

We were introduced to this place via the Vancouver Brewfest. Their beer was great and we thought we'd check out their food. WOW, we were impressed. We went for lunch and ordered burgers and sandwiches. My husband had the salmon pita and I had the BLT. The food was awesome. Everything paired nicely with their various beers and our service was great. Battle ground was a little far from where we usually stay in Vancouver, but we will definitely make the trip back. The decor was interesting. No two chairs were the same...and everything had a rustic feel. It's worth checking out- you wont be dissappointed. read more

I robbed the Yelp community by not bringing my iPhone as I'm unable to visually capture the beautiful aesthetics of the food and overall vibe. This is an elevated food pub, think the opposite of McMenamin's (don't be fooled to believe the latter is much cheaper.) The Gazpacho with lobster on blistering hot day hit the spot. The BLT solid; the bread is heartier than average. Some rave about the homemade potato chips, but they were a little too crunchy and thick for me. Our crowd loved their beers, and you can't opt for a smaller than pint-sized glass. Service was friendly and efficient, parking easy. This is a winner. read more

So disappointed! We've been going to Barrel Mountain Brewing in Battle Ground, Washington for a long time now, and have been really pleased with it. Lately, though, we have had some unpleasant experiences when contacting the restaurant. Whoever is answering the phone is not friendly or even particularly pleasant. For instance, one time we called to ask if we could get takeout and were told no, but without any attitude of concern or just plain politeness. Another time, we had some questions about the menu, and they just blew us off. We used to go there a lot, but the attitude has really deteriorated. I know they're opening a new restaurant in Vancouver, so does that mean they're not gonna take care of their customers in Battle Ground? Or is business so great that they don't need to care about the customer experience? Our extended family (three families and friends) will not be going there again. read more

Ergo, 2-3 pm is prime time. Very good Imperial IPA. The steak bites are tender with full garlic cloves; the wings actually ARE all that. Buffalo is tasty, but there are 2 other options. It's been over a year since we've actually sat at a restaurant. My husband had just received his second dose of the Covid vaccine at the Fairgrounds when this pub came up on Yelp. We are both sick of our usual take out and wanted to celebrate our both being fully vaccinated. Though chilly, we sat outside. All the servers and cooks were wearing masks and customers that were not seated with their group were required to wear masks. We both felt very comfortable with our only anxiousness being out for the first time in over a year. THE FOOD!!! It was awesome! I ordered the Prairie Burger with fries. It had a kick but it wasn't too spicy. The bacon was REALLY good quality and cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious and perfectly seasoned. I personally would like a bit more veggies on the burger, maybe a Thai slaw on the burger? It was still an excellent meal. My husband order their special which was a Pastrami sandwich and fries. It was thin cut with no fat or gristle. He exclaimed to the server that it was the BEST pastrami sandwich he's ever had! We will definitely be coming back! They have excellent COVID safety setup so we felt really safe with a huge outdoor patio. The beers were delicious, we especially as liked the Be Happy Hefeweizen. We each had a burger, I had the mushroom and Swiss burger, my husband had the bacon cheese burger. The bacon was the good thick stuff, cooked all the way to perfection. Let's start with the food, it was AWESOME. The hostess, in particular, went out of her way to make sure that everything was going smoothly. (She actually got chewed out by a seemingly chronically unpleasant woman) My boyfriend and I ordered dessert first, the brown sugar pretzel. It arrived hot and delicious. Gosh, we've been here probably 10 times over the last few years and for some reason I haven't done a review. We really like this place a lot. Those garlic fries are to die for, the girls love bringing their friends here and ordering those fries. It's like a rite of passage for them and each friend of theirs we bring here. So far they've all loved them. And the burgers are exceptional, top notch. Salads are great, oh and their beer is pretty damn good too. My wife gets the one (I forget the name) but it's the trail??
