When I got there it is different then other repair shops in that it is beautiful to visit there big clean office .As I waited on a beautiful black leather new sofa ( not a dirty auto shop) My manager whom I dealt with wasSteven. There was complete clarity with me with everything they were doing to my car. They called me every 3 days with updates They let me know everything being done as they went along. As other Tesla owners are likely to relate, setting out to fix body damage on your Tesla vehicle can initially appear exasperating given such few "Tesla approved" autobody repair shops overall. In my case, I selected Don Joe's after evaluation of various online reviews and due in part to its "preferred" status by Geico Insurance (the other party's insurance company) as a Tesla approved autobody shop. My primary interaction and communication regarding the repair of my vehicle from the beginning to the end of the entire process was with Victor, a gentleman whose experience and knowledge of Tesla vehicles becomes almost immediately apparent. During the initial walkaround of my model Y to inspect the superficial damage, he assured me that he would thoroughly inspect the underlying body and mechanical components. Based on our conversation, I can tell you that Victor has a passion for Tesla vehicles and appreciates the technological nuances of the vehicle. Throughout our dealings, he was straightforward, respectful, courteous, and kept me apprised of every important step in the process. He worked directly with the Geico insurance adjuster to arrive at an estimate and proceed with the repair of my Model Y. In my situation, the repair took approximately one week given the need to order parts directly from Tesla; however, my Model Y was better than brand-new at the end of the process. Graciously, Victor and his crew even installed my Tesla Roof Rack cross bars which were sitting in the back-cargo area of my model Y after recently arriving in the mail! I caused damage to my car and the other car. After a conversation with Dean, the person who's car I hit ALSO chose to work with Masters feeling comfortable they were in great hands. He was accommodating to both parties that we need our cars (have small children/constantly running around) and worked with us to make sure the repairs were done timely! Given the hefty bill I'd see for the amount of damage, Dean worked with me to understand my options around fixes and how best to keep this as cost-conscious as possible for both vehicles. The repairs on my car were done same-day and look good as new. While the car was being repaired, they noticed I needed an oil change and one of my windshield wipers wasn't working properly (was mis-aligned) and they did those fixes free of charge given all of the other fixes I was about to have to cover for myself and the other person's vehicle.
