A surprise find in Arizona. Outstanding service and decent food, massive portions, and all at an extremely low price makes for a great place for lunch, especially with a big group. They do need to lose the styrofoam cups however. I am surprised styrofoam is still being manufactured.

Medium wings. Perfect sauce and not fatty at all

We visited this location today. Ordered a thin crust pizza & wings. The food came out hot and fresh. I'm picky on pizza sauce. The sauce was very good. The girl who took my order turned my afternoon around. She was so nice and happy. We will definitely be back to this location .

So my wife and I went to Barro's Pizza for date night. We haven't been to a Barro's Pizza in over 15 years. We ordered the XL Pizza and Boneless Wing Special. I can't explain to you how much food we got, we had leftover for days, which for the record is a good thing. We ordered the pizza with Sausage, Black Olives, Mushrooms, and Jalapeños, it was so good! I didn't remember their pizza being so thick, deep dish, whatever you call it. I had 2 pieces of 10 and I was done. With our meal the boneless wings came out first, I got 12 of the honey hot and they were to die for! What really surprised me again is how big the boneless wings were. I had 6 of 12. We really enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere was great, the staff was good, and the food was superb! We'll be back!

Pizza was very disappointing when I usually have total faith in Barros making good pizza. The pizza was visually unappealing, very little sauce, too much cheese, and lite toppings. When ordering I asked for the largest pizza and got a large pizza instead of X-large. Not only ordering was wrong but so disappointed in what was delivered.

Pizza is always good. I grew up eating Barro's in SoCal and travel to AZ for work so it's my treat to myself on occasion. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in my pizza when I opened it back at the hotel. As you can see by the photo I ordered and paid for extra sausage, again referring to another photo, it hardly looks like extra sausage. 12 pieces of sausage on the entire pizza strewn about and 1-2 pieces barely covering more than 1 slice each. Not what I had anticipated at all. Imagine if I didn't order extra, would I had only received 5-6 pieces of sausage for an entire pizza? Shane on you Barro's, you can do better than this. Service was extremely slow even though I was the only one in the restaurant at the time. In fact no one was even at the counter for over 5 minutes when I arrived. Then after ordering a family cake in 10 minutes after I did and received both of their 2 pizzas before I got mine. I had to ask to get it. It's a difficult decision for me since I love this pizza so much but I really feel like I shouldn't come back in the future.

Very, very dry boneless chicken wings! Terrible way too hard

Both were made to perfection. Great flavor and so tender. A perfect start to the dinner. We had the Caprese and Caesar Salad next. Both had solid flavors, but the Caesar was our favorite. What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. The cannelloni for dessert was perfectly Italian with awesome flavors. A perfectly compliment to an amazing dinner. This is a gem is Chandler!!! Thank you to Aqua Di Mare for making this an amazing experience.

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! I learned so much about Gaea in one afternoon too :D Love it. When we entered, we were advised to be seated wherever we liked with menus on a table to grab. Our server was over pretty quickly, and appreciated him offering an appetizer and entree suggestion. What We Ordered: - Cucumber Elderflower Spritz: I've been on a spritz kick since having one at the beginning of the year at Disney World. The perfect refreshing drink for a humid day after rain in July (2" in Apache Junction). Loved the cucumber and elderflower combination, and would definitely order again! - Shrimp Medina: The server recommended, and our favorite of the meal. The scampi butter with the heat of the red chili flakes was perfect. I'd honestly look to see if there is a pasta dish like this next time as that sounds like perfection. - La La Vodka: My friend ordered this, and said it was pretty good. She remarked how large it was and wish for a lunch portion that you could order half, but thankfully, we were heading back to her house after to be able to drop off leftovers. - Pasta Picante: This was recommended, but I wasn't all that fond of it. It was not really spicy, and I didn't like the sausage in the dish. It could have just been my preferences, but my friend ended up taking as leftovers her kids would enjoy. Overall, this place had both comfortable seating and comfort food. Italian is one of my favorite things to dine, and get that dopamine fix from pasta. I'll definitely return and explore another entree more suited to my preferences.

This most recent visit we ate outside as we had our dog with with us. There was one other party and even though it was late June, the patio was covered and the misters were nice, so it was very comfortable. Our server was friendly and although it seemed like she was new, if she didn't know the answer to our questions she happily asked her peers for the answer. We had a few hiccups but she was very apologetic and nice about it. We ordered the meatball Ferris wheel, kids cheese pizza, and hot Sicilian pizza. I thought it was really cool how the Ferris wheel actually spun. I did think the polenta would be a bigger portion and served on the side. (They put the polenta in each meatball cup) The meatballs were a good size and tasted pretty good. One of them was topped with Calabrian chili and it was really good. It may have been their monthly special. The kids pizza was a good size for our toddler and you could tell it wasn't frozen cheese pizza. The cheese was good and I like that it comes with a drink. I think it also comes with a dessert but our server didn't offer it and we didn't think we needed it. They did bring the pizza out piping hot and considering it's for a kid I would have appreciated if they let it cool a bit instead of bringing it fresh out the oven. The pizza was amazing and had such good flavor. I loved the ricotta and hot honey. I just wish it was a little bigger, but with the meatballs it was more than enough for two people. We don't eat Italian often but would definitely be back when we do.

We've always loved the food and have recommended it to so many people over the years. We recently saw the $25 family special that included a baked rigatoni, salad, and bread for 3-4 people, so we decided to give it a try and ordered curbside pickup. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed when we got home. The order only came with 4 small pieces of bread, and the baked rigatoni with sausage had only about one whole sausage sliced throughout the entire 3-4 person portion. For a meal advertised to feed 3-4 people, we expected there to be enough sausage for everyone to actually get a serving. It felt like the protein was cut way back, which made the meal feel incomplete. We're not writing this because we don't like Rigatony's - we genuinely do, and we'll most likely continue coming back because we've had so many great experiences over the years. We just hope this was a one-time issue or that they reconsider the portions for this special, because it didn't live up to the quality and value we've come to expect from a restaurant we've loved for so long.

We were greeted immediately when we walked in and brought straight to a good table in spite of our early arrival. Within a couple of minutes Erin our server came to introduce herself. We began with cocktails. A double Makers Mark on the rocks and a straight-up Tito's martini. Both done just as we like them and generous. First course was the Calamari. We're former New Yorkers so being a Calamari snob is expected. This offering, which delivered a bit of Scungilli as well, was really done well. Not heavy on the bread crumbs and not at all rubbery. The accompanying sauce was very tasty. We followed up splitting a Caesar Salad that we devoured. When we ordered our entree, Linguini and White Clam sauce, we asked Erin about the portions and she read us well. She suggested that we might be overwhelmed by the size of it so we split that also. Turned out to be a great idea. We devoured that too. Done just the way I like it. So good that I ordered a glass of Italian white wine to go with it. Normally, we don't have dessert but, Erin didn't bring the dessert menu. She just looked right at us and said: "We have the best carrot cake in the entire valley"! I must say that presentation was tough to look down my nose at so we split an order of carrot cake. I think I can say it really was the most interesting and best carrot cake I have ever had. Throughout the entire meal Erin kept an eye on us and made sure there wouldn't be a reason for us to wave her over. She's definitely a pro. She was even nice enough to laugh at my really bad jokes. A shout-out to the food runners as well. They were on time, friendly and polite. In closing, I have to salute the management. The dining room was clean, organized, and nicely appointed. They have attracted a pretty nice clientele if my observations were correct. There was plenty of conversations happening but no shouting or yelling. It is just a comfortable place to have a nice dinner out. I highly recommend this restaurant. Give it a try.
