This is the best pizza that I've had in Arizona. From a chain. Shocked me. The only way to get a pizza that isn't completely AMAZING back in CT or NY is to go to a chain restaurant. The wings are ok. This place is continuously screwing up orders. On one occasion they sent out a burnt pizza, another time they delivered the wrong order. Impeccable service. Thursday I picked up (2) pizza's and a fantastic salad. Everything was great, except the veggies where so ripe that the Veg. pizza was actually very wet crust was soggy, box bottom was soaked. I called, told the young lady on the phone, after a 15 second delay, she came back apologized and stated that they would credit it right then. WOW. This is a place you can really trust. This food is usually the best in the area. I have made a few error's or worse in my cooking. One very minor mistake is very understandable, but how you handle the mistake is what makes you good. I just placed an order for delivery. I have ordered several times from them. I have ordered cheesy bread and sandwiches which arrive cold. I get it, they are busy. I prefer to have one hot sandwich arrive to my home, but I am not hopeful, still I get it they are busy they have great pizza. But tonight when I asked if the sandwiches I ordered would be hot, the person on the phone said yes then disconnected the line. Seriously? Wow your customer service needs some work. I usually love buying my bbq chicken pizza from here, but this time I got a upsetting pie, it was a chicken cheese pizza. They were so stingy with the bbq sauce, that I didn't even have one bite of bbq flavor. It was all cheese with a couple chunks of chicken! This is a standard Barrro's - great pizza, big space/lots of seating, beer! This location is kind of tucked away in a corner. Not very many people in there on a Sunday afternoon, but for under $15 we got a large pizza and two drinks. The service was OK and the tables were awfully dirty - reason for loss of a star. Would recommend for anyone who likes thick crust pizza and quality ingredients. Good place to watch a game, eat pizza, and have a beer. read more

I don't like to trash restaurants but I only gave this Barro's one star because I had too. Very disappointed in the pizza & pizza bread with pizza sauce I ordered but never got. We did the Barro's on Brown Rd & even though it took awhile, it was good pizza, we ate in. Don't know what happened at this place.?? We ordered take out & never saw how bad it was till we got home. The pizza was soggy & limp with thick, too thick outer rim crust!! The pizza bread was what?? Maybe some kind of garlic toast?? & definitely no sauce. We ordered late because we were starved & I never ate any & my husband who is a 3 slice guy, had 1 unenjoyable piece. When we phoned to complain , we got no answer. We trashed $20 & ended up having grilled cheese sandwiches. Sorry Barro's on S Power Rd, a big thumbs down!! Makes me wonder about any Barro's now. read more

Last night was the last time we will go to Barros. We ordered two small pizzas. One with Anchovies and Italian Sausage and the other with Double Italian Sausage. I asked the clerk to please make sure mine had double Sausage. She said OK. When the pizzas got to the table my friends pizza had more Sausage than mine. I asked the clerk about it. Price is not to bad for what you get, the service is good I have been coming to this location for years and have never had any problems so if you want to get a quick bite to eat I would stop by and get there lunch special, pizza by the slice. I came into this barro's, expecting some great pizza and lunch specials. All I got was cold cheese pizza and a huge attitude from Katelyn. My boyfriend wanted hawaiian pizza, and was told we'd have to wait 15 minutes for it, so he asked for pepperoni, 15 minutes. ALL THEY HAD WAS CHEESE. So I ask for a slice of cheese, my boyfriend asks for two, and GUESS WHAT they only had two pieces!! She told us, with the worst attitude i've ever experienced, that it would also be 15 minutes for more cheese. Throughout our entire interaction with this girl she treated us like trash and acted like she literally hated her life and job. Great pizza and wings. We have never had a bad pizza from here and all the toppings are cooked just right. The crust is fantastic whether you get it thin or regular. We like to get a thin crust with the toppings because it makes them shine a little bit more and it's still just as amazing as the traditional crust on a classic pizza. The wings medium are a normal buffalo and they pair so well with the ranch. We love to go again and again. The only downside is that the wait for delivery can be a little long. The Biggest Disappointment is that they No Longer have the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tv anymore. We've been coming here for years to watch the game and eat wings and pizza. They switched to Dish and they don't carry the Dbacks.. How can a local business not show and support the local team. I wonder if they will even have Cardinals Game. Ya, I would recommend going to a different location. I get sick when I order from here yet when I come in for a slice that has been sitting, I don't. Last time I was in they cut the slices so small that they gave me an extra slice. I had to wait for the first two to be made otherwise I would have just gotten a different kind. I had to wait for that extra slice too because they said they made it wrong the first time and needed to make another one? I wasn't mad, I was getting extra free pizza but when she gave me the extra, the slices were just as small!? This location just seems to have a staff of young people that don't particularly care as much as they should. I honestly can't be that mad at them for it, when I was 17 I worked at a pizza place and didn't care... I will just choose a different location. So I was talking to my friends and a lady comes up to me and is like you need to leave because you're just eating your icecream and not ordering, and I'm like but I did order over the phone but my foods not ready. Very disappointed! We have been eating Barro's pizza for years. I have gotten pizza from different locations through out the years. It's always been good but the last few years it's just gone down hill. We like to have the pizza delivered and unfortunately we are stuck ordering from the one on power rd and the 60. The last straw was the last order we placed. The people that take your order are rude, they get the order wrong, it took over an hour and a half to have it delivered. It was cold, burned and tasted horrible. The only plus was that the manager gave us a discount because I called wondering where our pizza was. Honestly I shouldn't have paid anything. It was just bad all the way around. I resorted to ordering Pizza Hut today and it actually wasn't too bad. I don't think I will ever eat Barro's again. read more

I love this place been going here since i was a little kid. not this location but barros. Anyway, I really love their pizza boat. however, it's the little things that really matter and this time not only was the guy on the phone abrupt and slightly rude but they forgot my stinking pizza sauce to dip my pizza boat in. Okay I'm a regular here and like the food and will be back, however the service tonight was intentionally poor. I wanted their special which is an Xtra large pizza & 24 wings for $28. I asked if I could make it half pepperoni & half sausage since it was only a 1 topping special. She said that would be an additional $1.75, okay I said, but the price was about $5 more. She said that she could take a couple dollars off. The pizza wasn't ready in 20 minutes, but 35 minutes and when I got home, no sausage, only pepperoni. I thought about going back, but it was late and I was tired. In the end I paid a couple extra dollars more than the special and no extra toppings. read more

This was delicious pizza! My family devoured it. I can't decide if I like the crust or the sauce more. Their crust is a perfect thickness. Not so thick it's greasy but not so thin it feels like you're counting carbs type of crust. The sauce has a nice blend of seasonings - not too sweet and even a tiny hint of heat.
