YAY for The Subslingers!!! This was a random Yelp find after our hikes at the Superstitions, located off SB road, it's not hard to find. We have eaten here 3 times and each time we usually order the Meatball, Pastrami, and the Italian sandwiches. All of the sandwiches are made standard per the order, but the freshly made bread and portion sizes just make for an amazing meal!!! For me the meatball sandwich is the mvp, this is the only place I would even consider ordering one from! You could probably order a small sandwich and will be full, but the medium is the way to go, you will have some leftovers. Service is great, and the location is nice and clean in case you want to eat there. This is our go to place whenever we are in the area and I think you will enjoy! read more

Found this place well reviewed on Yelp and decided to stop by for subs tonight. We got the small and medium Italian subs, toasted. Overall subs were very good. Bread was excellent. The medium sub definitely has a good amount of meat on it, while the small has less but still reasonable. I was surprised at the lack of veggies on these subs though. The lettuce, tomato, and onion were pretty sparsely applied. Service was excellent with very nice people behind the counter, and the restaurant and tables were very clean. Ambiance was interesting with fun western decor and an old western on the TV. During our visit they had a preachy Christian radio station playing which was an interesting juxtaposition against the cowboy about to be hanged on TV. Overall, I think we'll be visiting again. Subs were good and maybe next time I'll press a bit for a few more veggies. read more

Delicious sub, fresh and quality Boar's Head meat, bread and toppings. Friendly service with a smile, even brought my order to my table. Had an extended family gathering down the street and needed dinner delivered. Subslingers helped pick out a few different subs and sides for the last minute event and guided me to schedule the order from their order and delivery website. The food was delivered promptly at the selected time and everyone enjoyed the subs and potato salad, made from moms famous recipe. So glad you came through for us and delivered our meal, everyone loved the sandwiches! read more

A required stop every time I head from Scottsdale to Apache Junction! TikTok and the proximity to a business nearby brought me here. The portions are amazing and the quality of meats and bread are great. You get what you pay for when it comes to Subslingers. I intend to make it thru every item on the menu. The owner has been always behind the counter and she makes sure you are 100% satisfied. Dine in or take out makes no difference - I wish there were more of these around the Valley of the Sun. read more

I may even have to go back and adjust my other ratings on sub shops, as the Subslingers are that good!! Tucked away in Apache Junction, Subslingers are a true hidden gem. Unassuming, they present the absolute best sub I have had. Packed with premium meats, Boars Head, and fresh toppings; they cannot be beat. The "small" (in the picture) is more than enough for breakfast, lunch and dinner! If you want a true deli delight, take a trip over to the Subslingers! OK, the subs were great. We had the club which we split. It was loaded with meat, cheese and the extra customized items like tomatoes etc. . The bun was fresh and tasted good. The service was outstanding and here's why. We each ordered almost the same sandwich w/o realizing it. The young lady pointed this out and told us we could have one cheese on one half and another on the rest AND this would save us money. How nice that she took the time to do this. The sandwich ended up being our dinner for not one evening but for two. Because of the great sandwich and outstanding service this will now be our go to place for subs. read more

This was our first time eating here . I'm usually not the sandwich kind of girl but I had been craving one the last couple of days. I ordered a small BLT on a white roll honestly the roll to start off was really hard so it was hard to bite into considering how small my mouth is but it was loaded up with a generous portion of crispy bacon and ample lettuce, tomatoes and onions so the bacon to veggies ratio to the size of the roll was perfect. My boyfriend ordered a club and he enjoyed it alot. It was loaded up with fresh turkey and ham as well as vegetables. The sandwiches here are huge we could've easily bought one to share so if you don't have a huge appetite one sandwich can easily make two meals. The staff was friendly and helpful and they have a table outside so your 4 legged friend can come with you and enjoy some meat out of your sandwich. So the bottom line is i would eat here again I would just like to see a softer roll to bite into next time. read more

Sub slingers is a very good alternative to subway or any major sub chain. They are local have a very clean restaurant and the subs are always very good. You get ur moneys worth here. Most meat we ever had on a sub. Quality meat great bread service is fantastic. If you like meat on a sub this the place that why 5 stars review. But I like more lettuce tomatoe pickle and veggies for me adds flavor to me. I guess a strange review. Will come again but prefer more veggies. But if your meat eater this is the place. We will bring people when in town. Just wish I would asked for more toppings on ours but great place read more

Whoa! This is the "medium" Italian. I barely finished half & had to take the entire 2nd half to go... This is a sub at the next level, seriously. Fresh bread, top quality meats & cheese(s) and fresh veggies! This sub checks ALL the boxes! If you're tired of low quality uninspired subs at stale, predictable chains, I've got great news for you! The hostess sprung into action immediately & got that party out of our spot. That was amazing customer service, she went above and beyond and we were so grateful. I wish I could remember the Hostess name, but she has Black hair that was pinned up, and black rimmed glasses. That girl deserves some recognition! Then our Waitress, Jenna S, was a rockstar! She was so attentive to our group of 12 - which was very impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. None of our cups ever ran low and all of our orders were correct. &As usual - the food was incredible! Thank you to BJ's for allowing us to have an amazing Mothers Day Celebration!

The pork was fall-off-the-bone tender and the broth flavorful. The curry noodles were pretty much the yellow curry with noodles instead of rice. It was a tasty change. The highlight was definitely the mango and sticky rice. Fresh mango and warm sticky rice with the sweetened coconut milk over it. The larb chicken is delicious with jasmine rice. The fried tofu is always a great starter. It's a cozy little restaurant seating only a handful of tables but certainly worth it.

Due to this, I usually omit ordering a Coke when I go... then again, i prefer my Coke to be "crispy". It'd be nice to see Filiberto's get back to their roots and start taking care of their customers. There's too many options out there anymore and I'm surprised most of these places are still standing.
