After a seven minute wait my sandwich combo was delivered to my table. It tasted great with the right amount of toppings except for the onions and green peppers I requested were hardly noticeable. First time visiting this awesome pizza spot in East Mesa. Not in my normal stomping grounds, but I will definitely come up with a reason to return. Our dining party had a cheese pizza, BLT pizza and a black olive and mushroom pizza. All were baked to perfection and served quickly. I've been coming to this place for many years. I cannot get enough of the veggie sub. Their bread is deliciously toasted to perfection every single time. Papa Kelsey's is my new fave pizza place! Also, you can't go wrong with SO MANY things on their menu. The meatballs are amazing, the wings are incredible (I don't like their ranch, it's kind of like a garden ranch, so either go with blue cheese or use your ranch at home). This place sometimes has a great buy 1 get one deal that my family absolutely loves. A thinner pizza cooked to perfection every time and with many customizations to your liking. Haven't been able to try many of the specials but they all look great and I'm certain would be made with the utmost quality. I've always passed by this place and I've always wanted to go in and try it. The food was spot on. I got the club sub toasted. Very good amount of condiments on it. Great flavor. I ordered the foot-long so I'd have one for later on that day, and still that sub was perfect Later on. Their service was good. They help me answer questions about the menu when I needed the ambience. The whole place was good not too loud. You could still carry on a good conversation at the table. All the staff was in back working and doing their thing they all had a smile on their face. There Italian Subs have gotten a lot smaller. I got the Italian foot long sub and I got four pieces of meat that was it four pieces of ham. Look at the pictures that I put in here. The bell peppers that came on there was so thin you can see through them so was the mushrooms. I was extremely disappointed considering that I have ordered from them for the past 4 years and had nothing but rave reviews my last two orders were not worth the money that I spent on them.. And much less meat. Definitely not worth what they're charging. There are pizzas still good they're hot wings though hot really you get the hot wing definitely but very little sauce. We just ordered delivery, and it was terrible. Food was cold, boneless wings were completely soggy & not even warm... and we literally live up the street. I asked for well done on each pizza, and they were barely cooked, not well done at all. I had specific crusts put on each pizza for my kids, neither pizza had the specialty crust. We'll be back. We've lived nearby for 5 years, but always went into AJ for pizza. After terrible service at one notable place, we started trying others. Wish we'd found this place 5 years ago. It is a bit out of our way, but worth it. The pizza was tasty, good amount of toppings, not too much sauce, crust was even crispy after driving 7 miles where pizza usually gets soggy in the car. This didn't. Crust was perfect thickness, good flavor, so they know how to allow it to rise before going into the oven. Wings were good too. Not sure how there is a wing place right next door but no need to go in there. Prices were good, They have five ways to order online, but the "Arrowpos" is the best. No markup and you can order half and half easily online. You cannot on the others. I used to manage a good pizza place in Scottsdale in the 80's and this one didn't disappoint me. read more

Not wanting to cook or clean, we called for pizza delivery. The gentleman that answered the phone had a little trouble understanding my address, but he eventually figured it out. We were given a 40-50 minute window for delivery, which was fine with us. Amazingly, our doorbell rang about 40 minutes after I called, which would be considered early per their time window, I was very pleased!!! We typically order Peperoni, Sausage, half black olive, half red onion. This pizza was exactly as ordered, and we were not overcharged in any way. The crust was perfectly cooked and there wasn't a greasy feeling at all, it was crisp and delicious. Usually, we can only eat half a pizza together, we nearly demolished the entire thing in one sitting, it was THAT good. This was our first time here. Definitely will return. The atmosphere reminds me of pizza places from when I was a kid. Nothing fancy just what you would expect. We ordered 12 bone in wings 2* crunchy which came out very crunchy and delicious.
