I haven't been to a Barro's in a while so I went here yesterday in the midafternoon. I tried calling in my order so it would be ready for pickup, but after being put on hols for over 5 minutes I just hung up and drove over here. The place was practically empty. Nobody dining in, just a couple of other people waiting for pickup orders. I got a medium White Pizza and it was ready in about 20 minutes but it was a little undercooked. I placed a delivery order, its been quite some time since I've gotten pizza from Barros. The ingredients were fresh, pizza was hot. My only issue with the pizza was the crust was incredibly thick, I'm not overly fond of super thick crust, it seems like it gives more breading flavor and takes away from the flavor of the ingredients. read more

I travel to AZ about every other month and each trip usually includes a visit to a Barro's pizza. This location was super clean and the service was great. The lunch special was a great deal. I am extremely disappointed with the take-out experience at this location. The staff appeared completely unorganized and unsure of what they were doing. I placed a take-out order, was charged for it, and sent my boyfriend to pick it up. When he arrived, they told him there was no order under my name. I called the restaurant again, and they told me they did have the order--so my boyfriend went back a second time. When he arrived, they once again said there was no order. After calling yet again, I was told the order was indeed there, so he had to go back a third time. This back-and-forth was incredibly confusing, inconvenient, and frustrating. They never knock or let you know when the pizza is delivered. The time says 55 mins but it gets delivered in 30 mins (which is great) but is left outside for 20 mins because the delivery drivers never lets you know and all the staff says when you call in is I'm sorry we will let them know for next time. read more

Good amount of food for a quick lunch, lots of options to choose, decided with the mini since I wasn't too hungry. Good food and nice place to sit down and eat. I always enjoyed Barro's pizza so I am glad I took my friends here since they never experience their food before. The pizza was nice and hot and saucy. Made all three of us full. The wings were the best out of the dishes we got. Very favorable and delicious. The only thing was that it was a long wait for the food to come out. Ordered pizza with extra pepperoni. Received an inedible pizza with mounds of pepperoni on top. Cheese wasn't even visible. The grease seeped through the pizza box on to my counter. Tried taking off many many pieces of pepperoni to eat and it was so greasy it ruined the entire pizza. Whoever made that pizza seems to enjoy ruining people meals. I used to frequent this place. I've always ordered the same pizza with white sauce and my toppings. I get home today and it has tomato on it. Which I'm allergic, which is why I order their white sauce. I call to tell them I would gladly drive back to pick up a new pizza and was placed on hold for a manager, which was fine. Very spacious interior and plenty of space for groups of all sizes. I really enjoyed the meal; be prepared to take a nice nap afterwards. The mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce tasted as they should've, nothing surprising but it was cheesy goodness. I'm not a big wings fan (these were for my family) but would like to say that I expected more heat from a medium wing. The spice level to me was pretty much zero. I ordered a mini pizza for myself because I really wanted to try their BBQ chicken, and it was great! I always prefer a thin crust over a normal/thick one, but this pizza has some heftiness to it and tasted delicious. This is a business that struggles to be consistent and makes it your problem when they're not, which is frequent. They trashed my last two orders and despite my patient and kind attempts to resolve them, I was offered "a couple of bucks". One order resulted in two inedible pizzas because "we're training someone" and was offered $10 to compensate me for "soup pizza". How about throwing away the garbage that a new employee makes rather than selling it to your customers at a small discount? How about having someone actually watch new hires rather than sending out garbage? Train your employees are your dime, not mine. My last order was trashed because of their perfect and infallible app. It apparently doesn't make mistakes, even though it did and, after spending far too much time debating pizza and good will, I was told that the manager, who couldn't be bothered to get on the phone, might be able to offer "a couple of bucks" to comp us for an order that their app trashed. I'm done with Barro's. All of their restaurants have mediocre reviews which I find to be generous. There are far too many options in the valley to mess with people who don't hold themselves accountable and make things right. These people must be thanking God every day that there are 4 million people in their market. They'll need every one of them to replace the customers they piss off every day. read more

Placed an order for dine-in and explicitly stated I would leave and return. I set a timer for 15min and returned in 20, as they informed me the order would be ready in 25min. I return and take a seat. The staff let me sit there for 20minutes. Not one time did they go out and check on the table. I had my number out and waited patiently as I didn't want to be a Karen. After another 5min I realize no one is bringing my order. I go up to the cashier and ask where my order is. She informs me they have thrown away my order. I ask for a refund and the manger does so. Why it's a one start review is that not one time did anyone apologize for completely ignoring a table that was CLEARLY waiting for food. Ordered over the phone with female worker -- upon her reading our order back to confirm the details, she read back the wrong pizza. We clarified that was incorrect followed by the correct the pizza we wanted, read the ingredients and triple confirmed, just to receive the initial wrong pizza. When nicely contacting them back about the mixup, the same female became very defensive and aggressive, refusing to take accountability and unprofessionally blaming us for not clarifying a 4th time. One of my friends wanted pizza and suggested Barro's pizza. We arrived and were able to order right away! We also found seats right near the TV's. The pitcher of coors light was only 11 and there was a deal: 20.99 for two large one-topping pizzas. We made them both two topping and were just changed for an extra topping each! The pizzas were pretty good! We ordered a mushroom pepperoni and a spinach jalapeño pizza! Both were delicious but I am partial to pepperoni on pizza. The food was decent and the service was great! Last time we order from Barro's. Ordered (online) a medium sausage pizza. She confirmed my order when I picked up. When I opened the box, I thought they still made a mistake and gave me a cheese pizza. On most slices there was one tiny piece of sausage and a couple pieces had two small pieces of sausage. I come to this Barro's pizza during my lunch breaks. I'm able to get my food quickly (unless I have to wait for a fresh pizza to be made) and you cant beat the cost. My normal order is the two slice combo with a small drink for $4.25+ tax. They offer a different specialty pizza each day for an extra .50 cents per slice (I recommend the bbq chicken pizza). In my opinion, the pepperoni pizza is a little greasy but the crust is crispy on the outside and pillow soft on the inside. Alcohol is available for purchase at this location. This location has a decent amount of seating available and TVs on practically every wall. If you bring the small kids, they also have an area for them. The parking lot is large but is used by several other businesses in the area. read more

We NEVER get pizza delivered because my husband always insists on picking it up. That said, we had a crazy Saturday and were super tired so decided to order delivery for once. This is a new-ish spot in the hood and we hadn't tried it yet so we gave it a whirl. I ordered a thin crush (which actually wasn't very thin) with mushrooms and cheese and a side of cheesy bread with marinara. The online ordering/payment process was easy and the pizza was at our door in about 45 minutes! However, It wasn't very hot when it arrived and honestly, just wasn't that great. When I think "thin crust" I think almost like a cracker but their version of thin is still pretty doughy. With so many pizza spots in the neighborhood, we'll probably stick to one of our other favorites but i'm glad we tried it! And, we'll probably continue to pick it up on our own because we can make sure it's still piping hot! read more

I LOVE Barro's! Their Kona pizza is one of the best I've ever had. We always order it with garlic spread and we sub meatballs for chicken and it's amazing. Stopped in to order an XL to go last night and had a couple cold beers while we were waiting. I LOVE Chicago so the decor is awesome for me.
