The overall experience did not help matters. While I was there, the owner was sitting on his phone and did not greet or acknowledge customers coming in. My sandwich was made extremely fast, which made it feel rushed rather than prepared with care. When I got home, I realized they also forgot the mayo entirely, which added to the disappointment. That said, I did eat the sandwich. The meat itself seemed to be good quality, the bread was decent, and the photos from back east on the walls were welcoming and gave the place some character. The girls at the counter were also friendly which was a plus. Even with those positives, this visit did not come close to matching the reputation they advertise. Based on the quality, service, and value, I would not order an Italian sub here again.
