No sign in the front, this place is only for those who know. The Caesar salad is literally the best I have ever had, perfectly dressed and very voluminous, I would comeback just for the salad. Pastas were perfectly al dente, I actually prefer a cooked noodle but I understand that al dente is the more tasteful way to enjoy pasta. Vodka sauce was incredible, but I really enjoyed the chicken cutlet we added as well, perfectly crispy and juicy, it was incredible. The lemon pasta I got was slightly too sour, I added some salt when I got home and that fixed it right up. I would be willing to try it again. Small neighborhood spot a block off Roosevelt Row but they are pumping out some good food and jams !!! We arrived before they opened and already had a line , we got seated at the bar and started off with the garlic bread which was delicious (I would go back just for that) . I also ordered the rigatoni vodka and my boyfriend got the chicken parm , the pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken parm is definitely shareable. There are no substitutions or modifications !!! First time coming here and the food was delicious! My friend and I walked in on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise since it's usually busy on days like that. We asked to sit outside and although it was a bit chilly, the heaters kept us comfortable. The service was polite and attentive, and they played fun music that really set the mood and got us energized for the rest of the night. The food was perfection! I couldn't have asked for better pasta. I ordered the Bucatini Limone, and the pasta they used made the flavors burst with every bite. The breaded cutlet was amazing too! We saw some tasty Instagram reels on this place and had to check out when we were in Phoenix. We arrived and it's kind of "speakeasy-ish" there's no signs on the outside you just have to know.. if you arrive slightly before they open just look for the line of people waiting to get in. It's a small little joint with some bar seating and 5 or 6 tables inside and a small patio outside with more tables. The kitchen is right behind the counter and you can watch them work their magic while you eat. It's a very simple menu and they execute all of the items very well. We were sat at the counter/bar (my opinion best seat in the house). We ordered the garlic pinsa bread (you have to order the bread) and it arrived hot and aromatic (absolutely delicious). For dinner I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my girlfriend ordered the rigatoni vodka. The pasta is not made on property but made by a local business (so it's still fresh).. the sauce however is made fresh everyday in house. The chicken Parmesan was fantastic and the pasta dish was great, the sauce was great but I think the pasta was a little undercooked.. I love Al dente pasta but this was a little too much. This is a fun neighborhood spot if you're in the area. VERY small and I don't believe they do reservations so be prepared to wait during peak hours. We came during a weekday so it wasn't too busy. The concept here is essentially what you see is what you get. They don't accommodate modifications so if you're picky or particular, this might not be the place for you. However, all that aside, this place definitely has its appeal. I can't help but getting a alternative/hipster vibe meets Italian/soprano moment. The ambiance is very moody. Relatively dark inside with the exception of some blue/purple lights and neon signs. Staff were pretty straight forward. Not in your face or overly friendly but definitely helpful. It has a casual feel to it but I could see someone dressing it up or down if you're on a date. The food was good. Again, a bit of a smaller menu but pretty much similar stuff you would find in a lot of Italian restaurants. I don't think they are trying to reinvent the wheel but definitely have their own unique touches. We shared a Caesar salad and it was HUGE. I thought it needed a touch of acid, like lemon, but it was very good as is. The gnocchi was super soft and pillowy and the pesto was actually surprisingly mild in my opinion. There was a touch of sweetness in the dish that I liked. I paired it with a chicken cutlet add-on and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't dry. Very good. My friend ordered a vodka sauce and rigatoni. She also added the chicken cutlet. Hers felt like home-style comfort food to me. A very nice, bright, tomato sauce that kind of transported me back to growing up in New York. Definitely a classic. The drinks are fun here. At least the the dirty martini w/ clarified tomato. Very different. So much flavor it almost felt like you're drinking Italian dressing, but in a good way. I get the impression that their bartender/mixologist has fun with the drink menu. The Chianti wine was also very good if you wanna play it safe. Overall, it's a good spot. Nothing super fancy but definitely unique. We spent roughly 140$ for 1 app, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks. Overall, I had a great meal at Saint pasta! The cocktail I had the Angel water was really delicious and very flavorful I had the garlic bread to start, and it was really garlic and delicious and the ricotta came with was really good too. It was a nice buttery way to start the meal. For pastas, I had the vodka sauce with the chicken cutlet on it, and the chicken cutlet definitely stole the show for me. My new go-to pasta spot. Wow this place is good. First off, the vibe is immaculate. Blue lighting with the red neon bouncing off the counter, music rocking and the projector playing movies over the bar. Whoever designed the place killed it, well done. Secondly, if you come here you MUST get some drinks. Their bartenders are so friendly and down to talk about the restaurant and its history, and the drinks are truly one of a kind. I'd highly recommend the Dirty Tomato Martini Cocktail, or the Watermelon Basil Mule Mocktail. Finally, the pasta. Dude. I promise I'm not overhyping this place. The service was pretty disorganized; one host sent us the text saying the table was ready and then another host said no it wasn't so we had to wait another 15 minutes, only to be seated outside after requesting a table indoors. The patio seating was so hot with no fans OR misters. It was pretty uncomfortable in the AZ heat. At that point we were too hungry to care, so we sat outside. We ordered the fries (appetizer), and the vodka rigatoni, The spaghetti, and the chicken parm. Here's to a long overdue review for my favorite pasta spot in the valley I've been here three times now and there's one word describe my experiences -- consistent. The service is always top tier. Everyone is friendly and quick to offer insight into the menu whenever needed. My drinks stay full, needs are anticipated... I could go on and on! The food is in a lane of its own! The sauces and noodles are all hand made, providing a great dose of freshness with each bite. The chicken cutlets are a MUST add for my meat eaters. Literal perfection every time. Lastly, the ambiance is relaxed and cozy. On any given night, you can expect modern hip hop from the speakers and mob films on display above the bar. Unless you're okay with sitting outside, I wouldn't recommend large groups of 7+. It should be noted that they don't offer modifications to their meals so check the menu or call ahead of arriving to ensure this is the place for you. I simply cannot recommend or rave about this place enough. It is a true Phoenix gem that I am proud to support yet again. read more

This was my parties first time at Saint Pasta and our overall experience was just all right. The restaurant and the vibe overall is trying too hard. The flavor profiles of the dishes were unique, I will give it that, but it was so salty. We drank so much water. If al dente pasta is your thing, then you might like it, but some of the noodles were al dente and some were borderline crunchy. The website says, "we're not for everybody," and I can definitely see why. I've been to Saint Pasta twice now and had a great experience both times. The menu is small but everything is standout and done well and service is also top notch. The space has a few indoor tables plus a bar and then more outdoor tables. Parking is easy right next door in the parking garage (as long as it's open - sometimes closed for events) or along some side streets a short walk away. Service is attentive and the food comes out quickly. The grape ape is my favorite drink and is an amazing cocktail for those that enjoy grape flavor. As for food, the Caesar salad is my ideal salad since I love a heavy garlic bite. The bread is also amazing as well. Lastly, the pastas are all fantastic and you can't go wrong. I highly recommend adding the chicken cutlet (it's perfect) and ricotta. Personally, I can't eat more than one bowl of this pasta especially when paired with a starter and add-ons. The sauces taste rich, it's obvious everything is made in-house. I grew up on the East Coast, so this food all felt like a warm hug in my soul. Jessica was our server and took really great care of us. They offered mocktails and I tried the ruby red Paloma which was actually really good for a mocktail. After coming across Saint Pasta on Yelp, my fiancé and I were excited to try it out. We live a mere 10 minute walk away so there was nothing stopping us, although some of their replies to reviews made me raise an eyebrow. How foolish was I to let an internet presence deter me from trying Saint Pasta. In 6 months, we have visited 4+ times and have to convince ourselves to not go weekly. Every single bite is delectable and will have you licking your plate clean. My favorite is obviously the rigatoni, with the lemon bucatini coming in close second. I ALWAYS add the ricotta ball bc duh?? My fiancé loves the chicken parm and refuses to stray due to its consistent deliciousness. We often eat in complete silence. Their menu is small, but intentional. We loved the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks, although are always full from the pasta. Have yet to try the Caesar salad as the dressing is made with anchovies and they don't accept modifications (doesn't bother us but just a note). Their wine is all natural- which is really cool and yummy. I must say my absolute favorite thing on the menu was the Caprese Martini which I was told is seasonal. Holy shit. You haven't lived until you've had this martini... pls bring it back... Saint Pasta is doing everything right. The vibes are high, service is fast, efficient and friendly. The ambiance was awesome -- great music, lighting, and a small, intimate space that's set up perfectly.....including down and dirty rap/hip-hop. The specialty cocktails were amazing, with incredible attention to detail and flawless execution. We started with the garlic bread appetizer with whipped ricotta and it was so good. We let the bartender choose our entrée and ended up with the Bucatini Limone... and it was off the chain! The pasta was incredible -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly light.
