Was downtown fishers post blood screening so since I had to fast, I was famished and my body screamed bagel!! So I searched and found this shop right on 116th. Found out it's a chain. Redress an everything bagel with Swiss, ham (which looked like turkey), and avocado. It was done pretty quick which was a bonus for me. The bagel itself was chewy, makes me think it wasn't made at the store. In a pinch, I'd order again from them. The store decor was meh....nothing awe inspiring. Oh, btw the online ordering system is a nightmare! I am not paying my mortgage or doing online banking, guys!! I shouldn't need this level of verification to order a bagel!! read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon around 1 and got 2 bagels to go. There were zero people inside, so service was fast. It took about 3-5 minutes to be in and out. Food was good but my SO noted that the sausage in his SEC bagel tasted like it had been frozen. Not sure if it was frozen right before we got there or what, but thought that's worth noting. Staff was prompt greeting me and making my order. Place was a little dirty, but they were also in the process of cleaning. I suspect I came in right after a breakfast rush! Overall, not a bad experience at all, but it didn't really "WOW" me. Might be a good backup spot if your go to bagel shop is closed. read more

The sesame bagel wasn't anything special and was topped with about five sesame seeds total, thus didn't have a sesame flavor at all. The cream cheese was bland. They wrapped it in foil, which made for a soggy bagel experience by the time I sat down and consumed it five minutes later. Location isn't the easiest, in terms of parking options. My husband and I walked into the store about 1:50pm. There was one woman working behind the counter who did not greet us as we came in. She was in the process of make about 5 bagel sandwiches for one customer. As we stood there at the counter waiting for some sort of greeting or " I'll be right with you " we got nothing but silence and were being ignored as if we were invisible. So we sat down to wait. As we sat- 3 minutes we decided to leave due to being ignored and lack of service. The worker did not speak or try to stop us. It was my guess that she was happy that we left so she would not have to prepare more food. Due to rude behavior and like care for customers we will pass on returning to this establishment. Going forward it should be a best practice to greet ALL CUSTOMERS regardless of being busy or not. read more

Guys. Give it a chance! The customer service takes a minute because they're just getting off their feet. I got three jalapeño cheddar bagels, sliced to take them home to toast. They were delicious, moist, soft inside, and I toasted them till they had a little crunch. 3 bagels for $6.51. That's two dollars a bagel. What a steal and they were excellent! I will be a regular. Can't wait for the whole family to try them! I also called to make sure they had jalapeño cheddar ahead of time, and they answered the phone after just a few rings, polite, answered all my questions. The parking is not the easiest but that's not their fault, it's this whole Fishers's area! I parked on Maple Street and had no problem parking and there's also a parking garage just east of the shop. Got a bacon, egg and cheese bagel on an everything bagel. It was pretty good! It was only about four minutes from ordering to receiving my bagel so they are fast as well. I would recommend going here. The older reviews seem to be when they just opened so I assume it was growing pains that come with a new location. read more

To start off, I don't think I have ever written a review before, let alone a bad one. I'm actually a big Barry bagels fan, because there's one in Kettering, OH near where I currently live. Every single time I've been to the Kettering location has been consistently excellent. At the Kettering location, service is quick and the quality of the bagels is nearly on par with New York bagels. That being said. This experience was thoroughly disappointing. I ordered ahead of time for pick up, got there 15 minutes late and they hadn't even bagged it up. Now, I'd understand if they were understaffed and it was really busy in the store, but there were about 7 employees behind the counter/in the back and 2 customers at the register. I don't see there being any good reason for them to be that slow, especially when I placed my order at 6 in the morning - before they even opened. I thought the service time was bad. But the bagels were worse. They got the order almost entirely wrong, and even with the everything bagel I ordered that they DID get right, they had maybe 20 specks of seasoning on there, total. I'm not exaggerating. I also ordered it toasted, and honestly I'm not even sure the bagel was fully cooked. It was soft and slightly soggy. One of the bagels I ordered was a vanilla cinnamon, and the bottom of it was partially coated in everything seasoning. Sounds like cross contamination to me. I don't know who is running this store specifically, if it's a franchise or corporate location or what, but if there are regulations that this store is supposed to follow for quality assurance/safety practices, I would hazard an educated guess that they're absolutely abysmal at following them. I'm not leaving this review to discourage customers from getting Barry Bagels entirely. It's genuinely good, and I think anyone who hasn't been able to go to New York and try a New York bagel can get one at their local Barry Bagels, if they're near one. 1/5 - Absolutely deplorable experience at this bagel shop! We placed an order the night before for a 6:30 AM pickup, only to arrive and find the doors locked tight. The day after the 4th of July, it's clear someone was too hungover to bother showing up on time. They had the audacity to call and say they were "running an hour behind" due to a power outage and pushed our order back, but the menu lights were on and the place looked ready to go--shady doesn't even begin to cover it. Complete disrespect for customers' time and trust. Avoid this unprofessional, unreliable dump at all costs! read more

Very poor experience. My sister and I were the only ones in the store and we placed a very simple order of 2 bagels. After leaving we found that the order was incorrect, meat and egg had been added to a bagel that was only supposed to have cc. Also, the everything bagel had only a speck of seasoning. I love bagels and was so excited when this restaurant was announced. Unfortunately, I was terribly disappointed. Immediately upon walking in the store there is a very strange odor. I asked the person behind the counter and she seemed to know what I was talking about. I think they have a machine that isn't vented correctly, but it's a very offensive smell. I don't know why that wouldn't be addressed if they're aware of it. Whoever made the coffee definitely isn't a coffee drinker. It was like drinking instant coffee - yuck! The bagel was ok but nothing special. They were closed for a few weeks and I believe are under new management. I thought I would stop in and give it another try. I didn't get past the front door because they didn't do anything about the odor so I assume they haven't fixed anything else. I don't see them making it and I hate that for them. It was good, but not excellent or revelatory. It was fine speed but not fast. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent parking garage. The flavor was good, but the bagels aren't very big. Generous with cream cheese, but if you get an egg sandwich the cream cheese is too much to work. One of the bagels was the wrong flavor because it was in the wrong basket, and I didn't notice until we started to eat. More of a grab and go place, not much room to eat there. read more
