Love this place! There's so much on the menu, it honestly takes me a good couple minutes to decide what I want every time a I try to switch it up. I recently tried the slug-o's bagel which has corned beef, cheddar, horseradish, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. So good! And, the bagel was so warm which I loved. I also got a side of chips and a drink to complete the perfect lunch. It took about 15 minutes since there were a few people ahead of us, so not too bad. Great spot for a quick lunch! They have a handful of tables inside if you want to dine in, or you can take it to go. My colleague got a veggie bagel stacked with all the fresh veggie goodness. Great bagels, but needs bigger space. I loved trying Ripple Bagel, but my biggest complaint is that the store is really just too small for how much traffic they have going in and out. Don't plan on finding a seat to sit down and eat your bagel. Plan to wait 20 minutes for a bagel and do it standing. Their staff is great and so sweet and they really are running a production line back there! Space aside, the food is really delicious here and the people are great! Don't let it deter you, just be patient and be ready for it if you're coming with multiple people and/or a family. read more

Their bagels truly are delicious! I've been here a few times now and with the HUGE menu, I always try one or two new things. The last bagel I had was the Gimmie a Boola! which was delicious, messy, and worth the price. They just get really busy, so, order ahead if you can (and even that will produce quite a wait) and dash in to grab your order. Not much room inside to linger, but it is a fun vibe if you order inside! My friend ordered an everything bagel, toasted, but didn't think it had much of the everything seasonings... but I've always enjoyed my orders from here! read more

Terrible. I ordered an egg, ham and Swiss cheese on sesame. Got it home. No egg, basically all ham. Also ordered a toasted blueberry with cream cheese. This place is beyond worth the wait!!! They have so many options we had to try 3 & all 3 were phenomenal!!! Very friendly service! Order ahead they get so friggin busy...rephrase they STAY so friggin busy! Cool little spot in a fun area, the vibe is very cool, hippy (maybe hipster a bit) vibes. I walked in here and it was like nostalgia smacked me in the face. The university I went to (Ohio U) had a spot just like this and I was there all the time... but haven't been back in maybe 8 years. This spot is like a modernized version of it, clear down to the jam band references, quirky named sandwiches, and enormous menu. I was honestly giddy, no exaggeration. I love that they have a ton of vegetarian options... that's not something I'm used to walking into a deli of any kind. It took me a while to settle on one, but I ended up getting the deer creek. Cream cheese, smoked cheddar, tomato, avocado, sprouts, and lettuce on their baily. When I asked, they described their baily as a bagel without the hole in the middle, but a bun. I loved it. It helped hold everything together. The entire sandwich was devoured. It was delicious. If I lived nearby this spot would be dangerous. Good thing for those that do, the price is low. Ripple Bagel & Deli is a locally owned deli that has been in Broad Ripple since the 1970's. Their sandwiches are made on their freshly made (in-house) bagels. The shop is eclectic, with a cool neighborhood vibe. When I stopped by, the tables were full except for one that I snagged. The place was hopping. I ordered and paid at the counter. They had a huge assortment of plain, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwich options, including veggie options. I chose the Five-0, consisting of bacon, cream cheese on an onion bagel. Most of the bagels are steamed to keep them soft and chewy. My sandwich was ready in 10 minutes. The Five-0 was warm and delicious with lots of crispy bacon and a great bagel. I could eat these everyday. The clerk was super friendly and helpful. He described how the bagels were prepped and offered me a hard copy of the menu. They serve coffee as well. Prices are reasonable. Parking in Broad Ripple is limited and metered. I found parking about a block away and dropped all my change into the meter. I'll be stopping every time I'm in BR. read more

First, I wish I could give 4.5 stars. I only took one off because they have a surcharge for credit card use. Build it in to product cost!! so annoying. that said, I loved this place and so glad I came over after a horrible experience at the "coffee shop" (not..lol) next door. The location itself is pretty small, but they keep you entertained with a lot of drawings and menu options on the wall, and watching the workers make the dozens of sandwiches per hour. Still really good but the quality has been dropping off. If there is a wait, it seems to take about 7-8mins per bagel and they to only make 1 at a time if there's 4 of them back there so with 3 people ahead of you you can wait up to a half hour. I've had good bagel sandwiches in the past but the last 2 times have been low quality. This is a big bummer because this place was a broad ripple staple for me and now it's starting to loose that. read more

So good! This is the first time we've ordered from here and definitely be back! Hubby ordered Sara's Secret. He said it was messy, but delicious. I had the Hot Tuna Meltdown, and I loved it. It was also messy but so delicious. Both were served on Bialys not bagels, and the Bialys were much softer than a bagel. We each got the cracked pepper & sea salt chips. I got the Tonya Harding ( it's a club ). Really big thick sandwich with lots of meat. It was too much for me to finish. The biscuits and gravy were good, but not the best I've ever had. First timer at ripple bagel, I picked this place to grab sandwiches for the bridal party before my friends wedding and ordered online as most reviews say you have to wait a while. I wouldn't even bother going here without an online order unless you have a long time to wait. The website gives you an option to write each persons name but it's useless as the name doesn't even go to the staff. Thankfully he numbered our bagels so we could determine which bagel it was. The brown/blonde haired man working at the register was super friendly. However, the man making our bagels and the girl with the septum piercing would not stop freaking talking the entire time. Turning around to each other etc. Our order was not ready in time and they could have saved at least 5+ minutes if they weren't so distracted or at least talk while you work. I am a server and was surprised that nobody had any sense of urgency and the place was busy. They do a good job at covering the entire bagel. Most places you go it's only half covered or very dry. I will say you don't have to worry about that here at all. I would maybe eat here again if i was in the area and wanted a handheld sandwich. I wanted to give only 3 stars after our wait and the experience but I will give 4 because our order was correct. read more
