I really enjoyed being here, the waitress Veronica is very nice and does her up selling too well. You got to watch her bc she will make stuff sound so delectable, if you have a budget then you end up go right over it. But she is a nice girl overall and does her job. I went here with my man and was looking for something posh and fun, and different do we went here. We ordered the tasters wine tray with 2 white and 2 red wines $12, a few glasses of white wine which were $13 a piece and that wine was great. A selected plate with 2 meats and 1 cheese which was $15. That was so delicious! The whole order came up too $73 . Me and bea had a wonderful time and I will be returning there soon. read more

Can I just say- LOVE THIS PLACE! The owner Adnen and his wife are the most lovely people. Adnen makes you feel at home and always makes me laugh! I never know what I want to drink- I just want wine! So glad I visited this place. I always find myself going back to the pier area but this is a hidden gem on PCH! Wine tastings are $15 with two white and two reds but you can switch it out. We got all red wine. Not all of them were great but they have a good selection of other wine you can order either to sip or a full glass. Beer flights are also available. There were salami and cheese plates as well. Comes with jam, fruit, and almonds. Our server was very helpful and did an amazing job picking the cheese they were all great. All staff were very nice to us. The store has a lot of wine and beer by the bottle that you can pop in and purchase. Definitenly going back soon read more

Came here on a Friday after work with 3 coworkers. This place is adorable and full of quality. We got the cheese, dip, and charcuterie assortments (5 option, not the 3 option versions). We also did the wine flights. Everything was delicious and service was on point the entire time we were there. I will admit the food portions weren't large, but they are also not meant to be. I've been in the wine and hospitality Industry for over 20 years. I just dont understand why a wine shop would allow a customer to buy a bottle of wine, in their shop, and to drink it at the wine bar, with a dinner or aluminum and cheese... it was very strange to hear the reason was they're two separate businesses.... so I said I will pay a corkage fee. I was looking at 50 buck bottle and wanted some meat and cheese. Why would a biz refuse to take a 20 corkage fee (zero cost to biz and all profit) plus the revenues from the food sales and the retail purchase from the wine shop. Instead they got zero revenues and lost a customer who just moved to the area and buys wine on a weekly basis for both consumption and cellaring... it's a shame people dint understand business or hospitality. read more

Been here a couple of times, the first we nipped in at 8, knowing they close at 9 but happy just to have a glass of wine or two. The place was busy and the server was fairly reluctant to offer us anything, much less welcome us. We did manage to get a glass of wine, just! The second time last week was much more pleasant, and the two servers were much more welcoming. Nice to come in try a flight of wines... and the salad is absolutely delicious!! Decided to purchase a Living Social voucher for wine tasting and sampling the homemade dips/tapanades (for two) offered by this Manhattan Beach gem. I'd never been to Manhattan Beach and am always looking for opportunities to experience new places (that just so happen to involve wine). My sister and I arrived around 4:30 pm. I read that this place can get busy. We found parking around the corner by the Baskin Robbins (I bet parking could get a little tricky), but since we were there early enough, it wasn't an issue. It actually ended up being just my sister and I. We bellied up to the bar where we were poured two whites and two reds that were already pre-selected (I would have liked to have chosen my wines, but I did not mind their choices). The person pouring our wine seemed knowledgeable about what he was pouring, which was nice. They were in the middle of changing their menu, so we got the update as we were sitting there. They brought out the most fantastic homemade bread to use with the dips/tapanades. WOW. This bread is amazing - soft on the inside, crusty on the outside, and a drizzle of oil over the top. I would love to buy loaves of it. The dips/tapanades were: white bean rosemary (AMAZING, prob my favorite), fig and olive (my least favorite only because I don't care for olives), kale pesto (salty, but I liked it), and this chile-based spread (which I also really liked). There were olives also (but those were pretty much untouched considering I don't care for 'em). Well, our appetites were whet. Ordered two more "sips" (3 oz pours) of a wine of our choosing and three cheeses of our choosing (the cheddar mixed with ale, the aged cheddar, and the gouda). OOOOHH my GOUDA! I loved the gouda! With tasting notes, such as butterscotch, nutty, and tangy - how could this cheese be BAD? It was divine - the sweetness of it impeccable. The cheese presentation was wonderful, too. Came out on a board with figs, toasted almonds, strawberries, and a fig jam. I LOVED this cheese board. These cheeses were AWESOME. We were there for a good two hours. They were very attentive to us (even replaced our dirty napkins). Got a nice buzz and had some yummy food. It was a welcoming environment with lots of unique things to taste. We love this place. It's comfortable, casual, funky & fun and the wine flights are creatively presented in mini-carafes. The food we ordered was beautifully presented and a great match for the wine; it was also, down to the very last item, absolutely delicious! The wine flight was a well considered selection which, though we didn't fall in love with EVERY wine, we thoroughly enjoyed. Service was attentive and friendly but unobtrusive -- perfect! This is a terrific place to start a date then move on or just stay put and enjoy. It'll be my go-to for gifting friends as well, since they do offer gift certificates and little wine- and food-related gifty items. It's a local gem and the owners couldn't be nicer. Was on my way out of the L.A. area after helping my boyfriend move to the West Coast. Was pleasantly surprised by generous pours in the $12 wine flight which helped me lube up for my flight. I'm no wine connoisseur but the environment, staff, and value were enough to inspire this very first yelp review (despite using it for years), and a bottle to go. Amazing selection and wonderful staff make this a perfect place to spend some time

I recently threw a bridal shower for my sister at Barsha and everything about the experience was phenomenal. In terms of planning the event, the staff were very accommodating and they responded to any requests with "no problem, we can do that" and even offered ideas of what they had seen done before that worked. If a request went against their policies, they kindly and clearly let me know their policies. I really appreciate when people are clear about their expectations, respectful and organized. I interacted with different people during the process and each staff member was this way. At the event, when I arrived early to set up, staff were there to help. Each step of the way, everyone was super attentive to our guests and were appreciative of our business. It was a wine tasting bridal shower and they kindly did flights for each our 30 guests (which, I realize, could be a pain), letting me know it was 'no problem at all'. Everyone was thrilled with the venue, the service, the wine, the food. I really can't say enough about how much I love this place. I have been there on other occasions to meet a friend for wine and appetizers and it has been the same: always wonderful service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. I just went to this hidden gem and had a wonderful time! Great selection of wines and very well priced. the setting is quaint and the service is great. We 3 of their charcuterie items and they were delicious! I also saw other food items people around us ordered such as their kale salad and edamame and they looked great as well. They offer wine by the taste, half glass, and glass so you can create your own wine tasting, which is reasonably priced or try their "date night" flight for $12 (a steal). They also offer beer flights and have a nice selection of craft beers on tap. read more

I met up at Barsha's with a girlfriend of mine a couple of months ago. We both read the yelp reviews, and we were really excited to try this place out. We were a little disappointed to find the kitchen wasn't open until later that afternoon. But seriously who were we kidding, we came here to drink. We decided to share the red and white tastings. Courtney, our host, brought out these nifty wood slab coasters holding mini decanters in place- so freakn' cute! We picked four of each from the red and white lists. Europe, South America, and California were in the mix. As Courtney poured our wines into the decanters, she described where the wine was from and provided some personal tasting notes. She was great company! We arrived around lunch time, and oddly no one else but ourselves were drinking at this hour. Courtney was very knowledgeable about wines, and gave us tips on where to go while visiting different wine regions in California. I was a diligent note-taker as she shared her wisdom. Personally, the reds stood out the most from our wine flights. I brought home a Cab from the tasting, and a Pinot recommended by one of the owners, Adnen. This is a great venue to bring a bunch of friends. Everyone is friendly, and it's a super chill place. I look forward to coming back when the kitchen is open to sample their munchies, and of course to drink more wine! read more

This is my neighborhood wine store, they offer a terrific selection and they always have great recommendations when you want to bring that really nice bottle to a party or friend. On this one special occasion for one of my dear friend's 50th birthday party, I brought in one of my favorite serving platters and they made a custom charcuterie plate for me to bring on board a duffy boat we were going on in Newport Harbor. The owner personally selected all the cheeses, meats, nuts and fruit, and it turned out gorgeous and truly special.
