Saturday, 3/14/2026 - We stopped by Barstow Burger on our way home. Address is 1507 E Main St, Barstow, CA 92311. We decided to try a different burger joint vs the typical In-N-Out, McD, Burger King, Carl's, Jack, etc. Boy am I glad we stopped by here. Pros 1) they had a Burger menu, as well as other Mexican food dishes and desserts on the board. Love the variety! 2) restaurant looked clean. I didn't see any dirty tables, trash on the floor, or sticky counters. 3) cashier, Andrea, was very nice. 4) we got the grilled cheese sandwich ($3.99), mushroom burger ($6.50), and a combo which is a bacon burger with added cheese & fries ($10.99). If you add cheese, it's an additional $0.85. For something so simply and normal, these were delicious. Burgers were so juicy, bread soft, meat good, and flavorful. Little one loved the grilled cheese sandwich. Fries were made perfectly. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned with salt perfectly. Made me think I should have tried a Mexican dish instead of the mushroom burger. Lol If a burger can be that good, the Mexican dish must be even better. 5) no soft music here. Restaurant is very quiet. The customers who arrived were all very quiet. 6) love how as soon as Andrea see someone come to the counter, she immediately walks to the register to take orders. 7) it's our 1st time there and she didn't rush us or give us an attitude, while ee were still deciding what to order because there were quite a few stuff on the menu. 8) nice large parking lot. Cons 1) bathroom was closed due to them just mopping the floor. But I understand that. Sometimes you want to clean stuff up so you can close and head home after. Versus staying late to clean. Conclusion We actually were very impress with the foods we ordered here. So good and juicy. No complaints. Andrea was very professional. I forgot to take pictures of our foods because it was that good. Plus we ordered to go and ate in the dark in our car. Lol I recommend this restaurant if you're on the move and need a quick grab. The annual drive to Vegas but this time we decided to take the electric car due to the war. While charging at the Tesla charging station this place was a 5 minute walk for us to get breakfast. My hubby and I shared a breakfast burrito while the kids had his own breakfast. They ran out of juice with his kid's meal so gave us milk instead no problem. Food was very satisfying. Barstow is always a must when on a road trip. We had to stop and charge my husbands Tesla while on a trip to Knotts Berry Farm, and right next door was Barstow Burger. I can honestly say with all the years of road trips I had never been to Barstow burger. It's fast food, but also somewhat diner style. Foods range from burgers, Mexican, to breakfast. We opted to try the special they had which was a family bundle, 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks for $30 which was a steal. I could not believe how big the burgers were and the portion of fries we got. The food was so tasty. Think in n out but bigger and juicier. We barely finished and had extras to take back home. Passing through and we decided to check BB. This little out of the way spot is a hidden gem. We happened to be passing through during the breakfast rush and sampled their delicious menudo. Their menudo does have a slight spicy kick the soup also had hint of a birria flavor. Their menudo does trip is the honeycomb style, it's easier to chew and taste light. We also had an order of bacon and eggs with a side of potatoes. Lots of potatoes and the eggs were cooked to order. Don't be turned off by the look, they do have a drive through and 120 stations 325 kw EV Tesla charging station 50 feet away. Take a chance you will not be disappointed. 4 stars because they didn't ass ketchup or salsa to my order. Also I had to go back for utensils. Not attractive inside or out. While we were charging our car, we decided to try this place out. The food was delicious and it was a lot of onion rings/fries for us. The service was great. They bring the food out to the table to you. It was cooked very well and perfection to me. The place is like any other sit down fast food place. The only bad thing for me while I was eating is that I didn't like it when they had someone mopping the floor where I was sitting. The strong chemical odor of the mop water was too strong. Stopped in for a lunch on our way home from Mesquite. Big menu on the wall, not the fastest service. Staff seemed very unorganized. We ordered 2 double burger combos, they forgot the fry's on one, 10 minute wait to get the fry's for the other. The restaurant needed some attention we cleaned our table maybe they had part of the staff not show up No catsup, dispensers we're empty on most of the tables before we found one. Our double burgers were ok patties were over cooked, but thick slices of tomatoes and onions lettuce was crisp made them ok we were starving. The french fry's we're seasoned but hard and dry think they had been in the warmer for a while, we left most of them. Burgers are good and homemade/local made. Fries are hot and crispy. They have a large dining room with self-serve soda and iced tea station. They also have a drive-through. This was my first time here it was just a quick stop while passing through to charge my Tesla. I had just stopped in for a soft drink and fries. The fries came out so fast and they were so good and fresh. The inside was nice and clean, and the bathrooms were kept up. The people were very friendly as well. I pass by this place a lot. So I will stop here again and try some other things. When looking around everyone's plate that I saw looked very good and fresh. I will come back for a more updated review but for the most part. We stopped at the new Tesla chargers on Main street in Barstow. There are a lot of places to eat and next to the chargers is Barstow Burgers. It was Tuesday and they had Taco Tuesday. 10 street tacos gets you a free drink. We instead opted for the three street tacos, Drinks and a Bacon Burger with fries and a side order of onion rings. For one it's so convenient being next to the supercharger. But the service and food were good. They serve everything from breakfast, burgers, to tacos and menudo on Fri, Sat, and Sunday. I came in paid 35 dollars for a large menudo an a small large drink which is pretty average for today, I got served in 3 small bowels each half way full they said they didn't have any large ones left then it was cold I went to the counter to ask for lemons they put two slices in each serving tray an they still had the store sticker on them I asked for a different tray I also needed more and they said it be a dollar more for 4 slices but then when the lady tried to charge me it said it was free so some one obviously was looking to pocket the dollar ? so two small menudos for the charge of one large an one small not a very good place read more
