Always wanted to come here when passing through Barstow so we decided to give it a try and we weren't impressed. We can't say much about the inside because we went through the drive thru but the outside is in desperate need of some cleaning. Because of the questionable exterior we automatically questioned the interior. There was also a sign on their dirty window charging customers 3% of their purchase if they use a card, so it's best to use cash. Cleanliness is a big deal to us but on top of that the guy giving us our food was rude and our food was not good, only thing that was just okay was the onion rings. But, not worth coming back a second time, at least not anytime soon. read more

We hit the drive-thru on our way back to So Cal from Vegas. They are conveniently located just off the freeway. They have a huge menu with lots of options to satisfy everyone. We grabbed a club sandwich comb and burger combo. They use season salt on the fries, which was especially appreciated. The service was quick so we were able to get back on the road quickly. We've only been there twice now when stopping at the Tesla Supercharger across the parking lot. The staff was pleasant (and easy to understand). The restaurant is clean- even the restrooms were clean both times we were there. The food is decent. By decent I mean it's alright. We happened upon this place late on a holiday weekend Monday because it was right off the freeway. The staff was amazing, especially Blanca who took care of us. She was quick, had great menu recommendations for first time customers and made sure to let us know about their Taco Tuesdays. I so wish we lived nearby! The food was plentiful and fantastic! We started woth the appetizer sampler. The veggies were fresh and the batter fabulous! I think they make their own ranch because it was so good! There was so much food that we took home half the sampler and it was just as good as couple of days later reheated in the air fryer. I ordered the large taco, and it was so full I practically needed a fork. Great verde sauce. The kids had burgers and they were also really good. We stumbled on Barstow Burger while driving to Las Vegas. Fast food places are boring, unhealthy and no longer cheap. So we often try local Mom and Pop restaurants on our travels. We liked Barstow burger so much that we ate there on our return trip. Really good food....huge selection like an old diner and very personable staff. I made my order thru Uber for delivery which the delivery was quick & easy. However, when placing my order, I added notes to add a side order of hash browns & jalapenos to the burger & before I added the add-ons my total came to $23.98 after tax of $1.86 & after I added the side of hash browns I got another total of $33.48 or $33. & Some change which I assumed that total was figured in from Barstow Burger & because I did not receive the hash browns or the jalapenos, I assumed that they just simply did not read all the notes or just forgot to add them & since I was charged an extra $10.00 & since it was my very first order thru Uber eats, the delivery was suppose to be free & as soon as I payed for my order, I was sent to another page to add a 25% tip to the driver. I ended up giving a 15% tip instead but because I had never ordered food or anything to be delivered before in my lifetime & it was suppose to be free but I gave a bad rating for Barstow Burger when the bad rating is actually because of Uber eats & their app on line that charged me the extra $10.00 plus the tip so my order was actually doubled in the total & mind you that my order should have been no more than $23.98 being my 1st order ever. The food is always good. Fresh and good portions. I would give it 4+ stars. Service is a bit slow, but you have to know they cook to order. Worth the wait. The dining area is a nice size that can accommodate a lot of people. Where this restaurant lacks is the bathroom. They're horrid. Speaking for the women, ew. 3 stalls are out of order. The handicap stall had water leaking from toilet last I was there 2 mos ago, and still today. Flushing seems to be a problem for some who visit, and the tp is limited. It smells like an outhouse. 0 rating on this. With it not getting better, I'll seek out another place next time through. You can do better. read more

It's a hamburger stand in Barstow. Meaning, don't expect anything fancy. They have a good selection of burgers and sandwiches and salads. I had a carne asada burrito, which was 80% rice and beans with a small spoonful of meat along with some lettuce and a tomato slice. Definitely have to start off with the fact that when I come in it is always very clean and the workers there are very welcoming and nice. When it comes to food I would unfortunately have to parrot what others have said about the burgers. The burgers aren't nasty in the least bit it's actually the opposite, they sometimes taste like...nothing...hahaha like I mean it genuinely feels like you are eating solid air haha so I just wish they would add a little flavor to the burgers. When it comes to the other food though? Flavor bomb! The small tacos were absolutely delicious with the chicken being super moist and the carne asada not being tough in the least bit. So essentially as long as you stick to the Mexican part of the menu you are cherry. Another thing I like about BB is the different drinks they have. Very good selection. Had the fish dinner, under $12. 4 pieces of fish, 2 'sides' (had beans & vegetables) with a salad. Veggies and beans very good, fish good, salad OK. I've had burgers here, French fries were good and hot, only large size which was good. A little tricky to get to, right by the Ramada Inn/hotel, right off the south-bound Main Street exit of the I-15. Large parking for RVs, trailers and trucks. The drive thru is not marked, but it's there, where you'd expect it, just not marked. I'm going to try some Mexican food, they also have large breakfast selections, don't know when/if they stop serving breakfast.
