Being a long time home owner I have had my share of contractors at my house over the years. Being new to this area for about 5 years now my AC unit started to fail on us. I had Bartlett Heating and A/C out to my house for a consultation. No up sale, no pressure, just honest solid answers. New unit installed 2 days later. Technicians very polite, efficient, and clean. Everybody was right on time. That is a big deal in my book. Simply put this is quality run business. First hot day of summer and Bam my air conditioner went out. I called Bartlett heating and air at 9 AM on a Saturday thinking there's absolutely no way they can make it here in any good amount of time; mostly because I know on the first super hot day these places are swamped with work. I call and make an appointment and I'm told someone will be there within X time range. Ok, no problem. Thirty minutes later I got a call from their tech stating he was on his way and would be over in 15-ish minutes. Wow. Alright. And 15 minutes later show up he did. I believe the techs name is Chris, although I can't recall and I've looked at my invoice to see if it listed his name. I don't believe it does. In any event, the employee showed up, quickly diagnosed the problem and even said I could hang outside with him while he worked so I didn't have to be trapped inside. So while the employee worked we idly chatted. He was insanely personable and very professional. About 15 minutes later my capacitor in my unit is replaced, I'm signing off on payment and the employee is heading to his next job. I leave and several hours later I return to a warm house still. Fearing there's a greater issue with my unit I call back for a recall service order and within an hour one of the owners is at my door. He takes a little bit of time,checks everything out and it turns out I was just being paranoid but he demonstrated air flow temps from the vents and explained how so much humidity had made it's way in, the air conditioner just needed time to do what it does. I felt so silly, but he was incredibly kind and patient even though I felt I wasted his time. (It was 7 PM on a Saturday for reference) I had a great experience with this business and they're now my go to Heating/Air people. Consider this business. Their work speaks for itself. read more

Truly an amazing company and customer service is as good as it gets. I had Vince come out to give me a quote over a year ago and I never pulled the trigger. I reached out again 3 weeks ago, and they still honored the same price. I had them install a new ac unit, furnace, and humidifier and I'm thoroughly happy that I did. I called Vince one morning around 7am because I noticed that the duct work underneath a vent in my kitchen had fallen out. Being a first time homeowner I panicked, but Vince reassured me that it's fixable and to just call back after the holidays. A contractor came out in January and noticed that another vent was affected too. Vince called me the next day to give me a quote, and I scheduled them to come out yesterday. The contractor was in and out in less than an hour and a half (even though they had to fill my vents with concrete to seal them up-something not every HVAC company will do), and Vince even called me today to check up on things. Just the facts: My previous Carrier Certified service provider's tech said my furnace seemed noisy. I paid $600 for a new blower installed. It didn't help. The tech suggested to install a new motor at $1,800. Considering it's a 13yr old furnace, I decided to look for a new furnace. Two guys from Bartlett Heating & Air Conditioning came in to check the air and install a Nest thermostat in a home that I just moved into. They were friendly, very professional, and very nice guys. For comparison, I did get a quote from another HVAC company in the area and they were kind of rude. I asked this other company how much they would charge for installation of a Nest and they said the don't like installing Nests and don't normally do them so if I really wanted it then they were going to charge $130 more than what Bartlett Heating & Air would charge. After talking to my realtor and lawyer about the Nest charge, they said that HVAC company (not going to mention their name, but the first letter starts with an R and ends with an O) is trying to rip me off or maybe over pricing me because they don't know hot to install Nests and are old fashioned where they aren't current with smart technology? Bartlett Heating & Air not only charged me way less than that other company for the AC check and Nest installation, but they installed the Nest within a couple minutes like it was second nature to them. They explained all the features and told me how to use it. They even gave me a free filter for the furnace since I didn't have a new one handy. I used a few HVAC companies over the years and Bartlett Heating & Air is the best with quality, value, and their expertise. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a good HVAC in the Streamwood/Bartlett area and will continue to hire them to take care of my new home's HVAC! read more

I didn't get a return call from Bartlett Heating and Air. Instead I received a call from their subcontractor who wanted $135 to come out to the house to look at the water heater. This is higher than the highest average for the repair work. He said if they discovered the problem was simple fix it would be $79 but . . .
